I really don't get how you didn't put Riddler in S. Honestly in my opinion these games have the best depiction of The Riddler outside the comics. Wally Wingert who voiced the character in all 4 games always delivered such an incredible performance that always managed to perfectly capture Riddler's obsessive personality, massive ego and superiority complex.
This is a very valid point… but god damn his voice gets sooo annoying by the time you play through city and become very hard to keep yourself sane after having to go through Arkham knight.
@@javi5072 I couldn't possibly disagree more. Collecting Nigma's trophies is my favourite side quest in the series where Batman is forced to solve dozens and dozens of little puzzles and challenges. Plus this Riddler is next level arrogant and will constantly taunt Batman every step of the way but where he really shines is how he is up his own ass and acts as a sore loser every time Batman outsmarts him. It's for all these reasons that this is truly the best depiction of the character, because him bodies everything that the Riddler should be. He's pompous, self-absorbed, has a massive superiority complex and is literally unable to stop his compulsive riddling. I love the taunts and the boasts but the way he just completely melts down when he's beaten because he can't even begin to comprehend that he is not the smartest person in existence. While I agree that the whole racing part was a bit repetitive that's more of a problem with the gameplay and not the character himself.
@@The_Phantasm the actor's performance is peak, but riddler isn't just fodder worthy of collectathon side quests. he is a genius rivaling or squandering batman's intelligence. he's a real threat in the comics.
I love Scarecrow so much now because of Asylum and Knight. In my opinion he is S tier and is second only to the Joker- I really believe that Scarecrow is the best Batman villain besides the obvious
This is a really good list. I'd have put Scarecrow in S (he was arguably the most memorable part of Asylum, his fear gas sessions were great and even scare the player at times... ie. the glitch and restart, and then he is an awesome big bad in Knight, finally unmasking Batman) but otherwise agreed :)
Scarecrow will always be an S tier villain for me (and I'm not just saying this because he's my favorite). The Arkham gamesare the best depiction of him and I enjoyed every bit of it
Scarecrow is definitely an S He was attacked by croc and blamed Batman for it, and slowly perfected his revenge and attack on Gotham. If his bomb were to detonate it wouldve destroyed the lives if EVERYONE on the eastern seaboard (120,000,000 people)
I think the reason Arkham Knight was disliked by so many in large part due to devs telling us we were getting an original villain, then got an existing character, but he was done well, just loses points for telling us something that wasn't true. Besides that, he was a credible threat and that deserves some merit.
Well that and the repetitive, boring batmobile fights with the tanks that happen around every corner. Some of them just go on and on its just a joke. Either that or using the batmobile to scale roof top, carefully time jumps and obstacles and grapple hooks ect which can be so stressful if you mess up just once. Really slowed down the gameplay, I think most of us just wanted to use Batman. If they had saved the Batmobile for use with the riddler challenges ect it would have been far better
Arkham has my fav riddler, sure he can be annoying, but the voice acting the look the story and the personality is on point! Plus he is my fav villain and has a great boss fight in knight
My theory is that arkham knight has anarky in the beginning in the diner cause he carved the symbol on the table and once you see his picture on the news thing it does look like a slightly older version and he is wearing the red hoodie so I think it makes sense
The Part with ClayFace being Arkham City The whole time is not entirely turn although he was in there most of the game being used as the Joker's Decoy For "The Role of a Lifetime" you can find him in one of the Cells in Arkham Asylum when you get one of the gadgets from Major Quincy Sharp you can see him find him in the cell near the area there he transform into Quincy, to Gordon and into Cash I guess Acting really inspired him due to his clay body until he met his fait but Besides all that I can say he defiantly deserves to be up there He makes a Good Plot twist for the storyline and overall great character to know
Imagine my surprise going from Lego Batman with villains are fun and goofy to Arkham Asylum where they are nightmare fuel. That's my childhood. Before that I had just watched on and off with the animated series.
Honestly, Joker is probably the best out of all of them. The other villains are pretty damn, good don't get me wrong... But the Joker definitely takes the cake. He ain't Batman's biggest nemesis for nothing!
Honestly I don’t think we will ever get a better iteration of Penguin, his design in Arkham matches his personality and he’s a lot darker character then people would think he wasn’t afraid to kill many Cops in front of Batman at the museum in Arkham City. My only gripe with Penguin is his Episode with Nightwing in Arkham knight, like he went from being able to get his hands on Nightwing twice in one side mission to easily being tricked by Nightwing horrendous voice acting. Also Hugo Strange was a great villain but it felt like his story didn’t make a whole lot of sense, like he knew Batman’s identity somehow that’s fine but he thens proceeds to let Batman single handedly take down his life’s work protocol ten. And the reveal that Ra’s Al Ghul (I refuse to call him “Raysh”.) is actually behind everything just completely underwhelmed Hugo Strange as a Villian.
Anarky was a C which is bad in my eyes, until I heard the killer croc theory then easily bumped him to B. Especially with all the evidence. To me B is Neutral.
The Electrocutioner should've had his own E category, just because he does absolutely nothing and dies and also because his name starts with the letter E!
doesnt make much sense to compare both as they're completely different and also both great so it doesnt say much at all also deathstroke is rlly only good in origins
Personally I would put Harley in B. While I did appreciate that this is one of the few versions of her that is completely evil, she was really not very intelligent (less than usual at least) and I didn't think she was that entertaining.
@Eh.........I’m not a fan of this character at all just to clarify your assumption. If we’re talking combat/skill wise he should definitely be up there. But in the games. Prior to him training with Bruce the knight knew all of Batman techniques which no one ever figured out in the game. Combat/skill wise easily above B tier
putting ra’s and scarecrow in a is actually criminal, two of the most pivotal and necessary villains in the series and harley quinn is ahead of them, nah, jus nah
Hush the only villain that beat joker and make cry and bested in canon...Totally dissapointing in knight...That is what happen when you let down paul dini (writer of asylum and city and one of the best writers of hush only to be take by amateurs...) Too the only villain that win to batman in all aspects, yes morale too, hush broke batman morale turning the bat in a killer to save joker of the same hush
My thing with the red hood is why didint they juat make him da red hood lol like i refuse to cal hima rkam knight you could have dine the exact same story but have in as red hood and it would be ten 10 times beter lmfao
I didn't play origin so I don't know but two face is very underused in the arkham games He feel like he should be a main villain Hi I could be wrong but he very disappointed to me mostly because he done well in batman telltale

riddler's race tracks in knight disqualify. also, they kind of made him a joke, in my opinion.

Deadshot in the Assault on Arkham movie was S Tier
Riddler, Scarecrow and Bane to S
Other than that, This list is PERFECT!!
Arkham has my fav riddler, sure he can be annoying, but the voice acting the look the story and the personality is on point! Plus he is my fav villain and has a great boss fight in knight

“Not as memorable as the other 3”. The scarecrow was the guy that broke Batman fundamentally. That alone gets him bottom of S or top of A at least.
Imagine my surprise going from Lego Batman with villains are fun and goofy to Arkham Asylum where they are nightmare fuel. That's my childhood. Before that I had just watched on and off with the animated series.
Another reason for Harley Quinn to be in S Tier: her classic suit in Arkham Knight
HQ Joker Ivy are S tier because this universe if tied to DCAU. The og series was amazing
Honestly, Joker is probably the best out of all of them. The other villains are pretty damn, good don't get me wrong... But the Joker definitely takes the cake. He ain't Batman's biggest nemesis for nothing!
It took him long enough to remember that officer.
Officer Balls
Mr freeze was incredibly well done and was voiced by Maurice lamarche, who was the brain in pinky and the brain among many many other roles
Love the background music choice 🙌🏾
The mouse kinda getting excited over Harley tbh 💀🔥
My Picks
S: Joker, Harley Quinn, Riddler and Mr.Freeze
A: Penguin, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Bane, Deathstroke, Victor Zsasz
B: Deadshot, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, Ras Al Ghul, Firefly, Hugo Strange,Professor Pyg, Poison Ivy,
C: Copperhead, Azreal, Clayface, Arkham Knight, Solomon Grundy, Talia Al Ghul,
D: Hush, Electrocutioner, Calendar Man, Black Mask, Anarchy, Man-Bat, Frank Boles, Lady Shiva, Deacon Blackfire

Why is Officer Balls in D tier? Is he stupid?
He deserves S tier
What's the background music called?
I think Hugo strange is an S teir villian. Harley Quinn is an A. That is probably the only thing I would change
