Confused normal range lesser then 150 mg / day Total protein lesser then 30 mg/ day albumin. So what is the difference between protien and albumin in urine.please explained

150 mg normal means this test is 24 hours urine test so this is normal but one time urine test valu is less than 30 mg

You have albumin and globulin in your body, these are total protein (albumin & globulin togather) so normal range of total protein is difference than albumin only

@@vishalsubba9950 About why protein creatinine ratio because of modification of dillution or dehydration in body. If patient was diabatic so volume of urine is large say 2000 ml per day so total protein would be dilluted because it was divide on volume.
Anither patient have dehydration and volume of urine was 900 ml so total protein would be concentrated .so protein creatinine ratio is the best to modificate these two case.

I' skinny, so I try to improve. I lift weights every 2-3 days. I take protein powder at least 5 days per week. My Proteinuria is 144mg/l in 24h (double the normal leve?l). Is that ok, considering my regimen? or is it too high regardless the fact that I take protein supplements, and I'm ruining my kidneys? should I quit protein powder?
I'm 43 years old (with 2 kidney stones; 4.5 and 7.4mm).
I like the fact that you said the the value should be less than 150mg per day, but when I had done a google search most results say it should be less than 80 and even my medical report says reference minor than 80. So, I'm totally confused.

I gave my urine in and came back 2+ ,then later that day started my menstrual cycle .could that have caused a false positive ?
