Cool idea Doc, I’ll buy those for my morning routine. If anyone is interested in just the keto urine test, in the USA Walmart pharmacy sells keto urine strips for only $5 for a bottle of 50. I like to cut them in half lengthwise so I get double the strips. It’s helpful at letting you know if you are keeping your carbs low enough for ketosis.

I have had a history of blood in my urine with no infection. Doctors have no clue. I chalk it up to an irritated bladder, most likely caused from molds and mold toxins in the environment. I use marshmallow root to coat and soothe the bladder when it feels achy. Works great!
You have a histamine intolerance/ Mast Cell Activation Disorder. The blood is from Hunner's Ulcers in your bladder from the HIT/MCAD. Eat low histamine. The reason you're sensitive to mold and possibly chemicals is also due to MCAD.

Just PLEASE BE CAREFUL! Had a friend self-diagnosing and some crazy doctor went along with this insanity. Instead of telling her that her artificial sweetener could be causing her pain the doctor took out her gallbladder. So PLEASE find a good doctor, still do the test but let your doctor know and then work together to your best health. If you cannot be absolutely honest with your doctor find a different doctor.

My urinalysis test. Almost all was abnormal. Abnormal bacteria, abnormal blood, abnormal Ph, abnormal ketone and urobilinogen was 4.0 way over what it should be. Also alt and ast way above normal. I am scared to death and feel weak, I can't stop crying or go on with my daily life anymore. I ruined my life by drinking. I am depressed and have severe anxiety almost all day everyday now after these results. I took a ultrasound of liver and doctor didn't wanna say much all he said "u have to go see a gi. I can't tell u , u might have disease, damage and other bad stuff on liver" I haven't drinked anymore and I wasn't for weeks before that test but yet it was worst than the last time. I feel like giving up and killing myself because I don't wanna watch myself get worst anymore. I can't afford a gi for all the lab tests, no insurance. It will be thousands. I have to live with thus.

This is really cool! And if you’re healthy it can help keep you healthy. BUT please do not go to extremes. Have a doctor you can be absolutely honest with, and tell that doctor that you’re on keto. If this doctor cannot accept this it’s, time to find a different doctor. Never go to a doctor whose all about medicine only, and whose all about telling you what you think, feel or believe, and tell you do what I say. No! This is a partnership. I use urine test strip every now n then frequently after some intake to gauge what I have eaten for glucose,protein,PH level as well as ketones n blood in urine. It is kind of useful to know'safe' intake n to be cautious of unfamiliar food or drink practically to signal alarm...rather then prick finger inconveniently to test blood glucose. Of cause good to use meter n have lab check periodically to confirm diagnosis more accurately. Finally I got assurance in a way that is good practice,🙏Dr. Berg

Eat lots of seasonal vegetables and moderate amount of nuts (coconut, peanuts, seeds, etc ) Reduce refined carbs. (Instead of white rice, have brown rice. Instead of maida, have whole-wheat flour and make homemade chapati) But don't eat lots of carbs, if it is possible for you, don't eat rice at all. (And chapati is also carbohydrates. But have just one or two maximum per day. If possible, avoid that also, instead, eat chickpeas (channa both black and white) , greengram (mung dal) , and other lentils. Avoid sugar completely.
@@cynthiajosiej1833 brown rice has lectins white is better. Get from Italy or another country. Also whole wheat may aggravate gluten so if getting that make sure minimal processed and get from good country.

Every single time I see the leukocyte section turns purple ( light purple). No infection according to the urine culture test. Nitrite is negative. All the other sections are normal. I don’t know what is wrong with me.

my urine strip test, show I have 16 mmol/L ketones after 48hrs of fasting. 16 mmol/L ketones after 72hrs fasting. Ate something at 73hrs. 91hrs later, 8 mmol/L ketones

Yes Marshmallow root is amazing for soothing the bladder. I use it as well. The type I found is powder form and dissolves in hot water.

Usually there is a key/legend on the side if the bottle that you can match up the stick to in order to get a reading.
