When you come to Philippines, you can ask anyone, anywhere if people sings. Here's the thing, the reason why we love singing is that, we live in a poor country, we have many problems, we simply love to sing our worries all the time, so every chance we get we choose to have karaoke in any occasion like birthdays, anniversary, family gathering, festival, etc. karaoke is like a must.
