I understand where are you coming from. However, we never do autotunes or mix ups or tone engineering, whatever you call it. That's the thing about artists today, or I should say American artists. So sometimes it's hard to believe that when somebody sings perfectly or at least does a live coer and turned out perfectly that it is not autotuned or stuff. But anyway thanks for the reaction.

I say, Michael has a really cool, and clean style of singing. I think from his voice, he's not much of a belter. Its a safe choice of song for him.
His surname pronounced as - (Pə ŋē ˈlē nən) - [the space indicates the number of syllable]

ŋē = similar to (siNG) with e similar to (eat = ēt)
and so on.
to add, the stress of the name is at "li" of Pangilinan. so Pa - ngi - 'LI - nan

With respect to his capacity... I heard his voice is so amazing... that's how he crack this song like peanut... It's a safe song for him... MGN questioned his capability that it is closer to being auto-tuned or manipulated by a sound engr...
I agree. He didn't PUSH his vocal range with this. Mind you he wasn't going for the falsetto vibratos at top note. His upper voice was nice and controlled but you can clearly see he's not STRAINING. The notes I know are high and belted weren't hit. He cruised through this song.

he's a good singer here in the Philippines... no doubt about that ..he actually join the celebrity singer clash "your face sounds familiar"....
That is because you don’t appreciate such controlled smooth whisperish yet falsetto singing . He kept it all the way , flawless , sensitive , mellow yet captivating . Brian McKnight is one of his kind , and this song is hard to sing (controlling suppressing yet emotional ). Not many dare to attempts his song cause it will soon fall into dullness . He nail it . Not all singer and songs need to belt it out .
