More air fryer recipes please.😋👍
There!!! Boiling water was something I never did!!! I knew I needed this video!!!❤❤❤
I love our air fryer! It's so convenient when there's just two of us.
Absolutely love your channel. To me its just a no BS approach to cooking!
I just got one so this is very timely. Love your channel and so enjoying all your videos ❤
Hi, Cheryl, i brought an airfryer in my local supermarket last Christmas, have to say, magic, best thing ever, i love chips, was expecting them to come out like matchsticks, but no, they came out lovely and crispy, chops, backon chicken, you name it, no disappointment and they are so easy to clean.
Very useful things air fryers. I’ve got a cheapo one but it works fine, I just fling Aldi frozen chips in it and they’re done in 10 minutes.
Absolutely delicious looking … every household in my Village was given an air fryer for Christmas last year ..they are so good
Amazing, thank you for the video. I'm living in Scotland for about 13 years and I'm always learning something new! ❤
I bought the same one last year Cheryl. Its brilliant. Never used the cooker oven since i got it. I will be looking forward to you using it on your channel
Your grannie was right. The most nutritious part of the potato is the skin!
Hi Cheryl, this is the Air Fryer I have (I treated myself to the white model last Xmas). It’s a great machine & you can cook all sorts in it, delicious frozen fish breaded or battered, home made pasties etc, it can even a roast a whole medium chicken in just over an hour. Hope you love it as much as I do 😍, I love that it’s energy saving in that I don’t have to heat up the main oven solely for things like pre-cooked pies, garlic bread etc., just wrap bread in foil for the first 5 mins, then unwrap & air bake for a few more minutes to crisp up the crust, also a great way of freshening up baguettes that resemble old fashioned police batons 😆, wrap in damp kitchen towel for a few minutes, then wrap in foil & cook on bake setting for about 3 mins, unwrap & again crisp up on the AF setting for a few minutes, good as new but eat straight away as it will go back to resembling a brush shaft very quickly! Another tip after replacing the basket after cleaning, remember to pull back the wee transparent basket lock, in case you end up wearing the contents the next time you give it a vigorous shake 😱, better safe than sorry! Your home made chips looked & sounded perfect!👌😋 Enjoy the rest of your week, happy cooking & thanks for sharing your demo vid! Look forward to hopefully you sharing more AF recipes & demo videos in the future.👩🏻🍳🍟xx 💕💞🩷
Thank you David! It certainly is a beauty 😍 very fairly priced too I thought. It's also so much bigger than the one I normally use.
@@WhatsForTea It’s a great size, hopefully now your the proud owner of 2 Air Fryers, you get to enjoy the odd easy option night feeding the family - just load ‘em up, press a few buttons & hey presto, tea on the table in next to no time!😉 COSORI are great value for money, I got mine on a Black Friday deal think it was in the region of around £85.00 I paid, & they come with a 2 year guarantee. Enjoy your new (hopefully) labour & energy saving kitchen gadget Cheryl. xx 👩🏻🍳💕
They're the best looking airfyrer chips I've seen so far Cheryl and I will be getting some roaster tatties and giving your method a go. Great video! ❤
Those look absolutely wonderful! I have a much older air fryer and was looking to upgrade so this might just be what I'm looking for.
I bought my youngest son's family an identical corsori air fryer for Christmas last year and I was told that it was the most useful present they'd been given. I was glad they liked it. 😊👍
They look amazing definitely one of the best recipes iv seen for air fryer chips
Ill making these for sure...the exact air fryer I have.😊 Thanks for sharing.
Had an air fryer for 3 years now, love doing homemade chips in it and yes I always leave the skin on too, that air fryer is a good price today with 23% off so have snagged one in burgundy, thanks, blessed day x
This is very useful, thank you
Cosori is a great air fryer. TYso much for your recipe for proper chips. I'm going to make some with fish sticks later. Love ya.
Crunch, Crunch, sounds yummy Cheryl 🎉
Not many but our Cheryl would list cayenne pepper as the first suggestion for seasoning chips! 😆
Thanks for showing off the air fryer, though I don’t have any more counter space for another appliance. (It does make me want one anyway!)
Delicious chips Cheryl.😋👍
Trying this recipe tonight.
I have had this air fryer for around a year n a half, would highly recommend
Looks delicious
Cheryl I love my coloring air fryer!!!
I always used to use Olive oil for all frying but when it reached £6 a bottle I switched to sunflower oil and honestly I can’t tell the difference I do use virgin olive oil in dressing but for general frying sunflower works well at half the price
@@WhatsForTea Apparently they are blaming it on poor crops in the Med (esp Spain) due to a 2 year drought. But agree the price is ridiculous, but since I use it so sparingly don’t mind paying the extra, but for deep frying definitely just use sunflower or flaxseed oil.
Not to mention the widespread “fake” olive oil out there. It’s real. Stick with high quality brands for a treat
If you research Sunflower oil, you will see it is the bad type of cholesterol for your body. Olive oil is the good type that reduces the bad cholesterol. Pay the extra If you are frying food 😮
I have the same air frier and am so happy with it❤
I'm very late to the game lol! I've just got one today haha! Came to find your recipe as I'm planning to make burger and chips tonight for dinner. I didnt get this one though as I've got a dual one. Will try this out tonight x
I love Cosori products!
‚Chip butty‘ is all I can think of now 🎉 and even the bread buns are coming out so well from the Airfryer 😊
I got the Cosori Dual Blaze model which heats from the bottom as well as the top. It's gone up in price recently, so they can reduce it for Black Friday.
I've had one from a different brand that's just as large and I love it for any thing that I would have deep fried before and can do twenty wings at once and even did a whole chicken in it once.
Great video, only thing missing for the chips is some malt vinegar 😉
I have the same air fryer. I love fries from my air fryer. I use frozen fries from TJ Farms. These are the fries for the air Fryer. They get nice and golden.
I'm gonna try your way.
Well, i think i've finaly been sold to an Air Fryer. The chips look fab
Thanks for sharing. Richard in Dallas
I, agree, i have a cousin, this is years ago now, but when having his dinner, boiledspuds, he use to eat the skin, reckon its good for you
Hello Cheryl your potatoes always look so delicious.
I'm doing the chips now, I have an airfrier oven and the preset on mine says the same temperature but only 20 minutes cooking time. I'll see how they look even done. Can always add 5 minutes.also I'm going to try the scotch pies. I've only ever had one once when I was in Glasgow speedway and it was the best pie I've ever had. So really looking forward to them😋😋😋
Hi will try this they looked yummy hope you ok and your family xxx❤❤
My son brought his air fryer Christmas Day to cook the roasties .
Yum!
I have this air fryer, it's good, but for shaking, I'd highly recommend grabbing the basket by the sides (with oven gloves on!!) to shake, rather than just shaking the whole thing by the handle, as I've seen a few people whose handle has gradually been weakened by this and eventually snapped off. I've had mine over a year and don't shake by the handle and it's showing no signs of breaking.
Wow delicious
Great. Thanks. Aussie Bob 😊
I give them a go cheryl I to got a airfryer my brother got me from Aldi they are so good thanks xxx👍👍🏴🏴🏴🏴
hi cheryl, this is exactly how i do my and my word they are so tasty
For nights when you fancy a wee change, especially if you cut your chips a wee bit thinner, Schwartz do a Chillies & Onion ‘spicy season all blend’, I sprinkle a generous amount over them, followed by a dusting of smoked paprika before cooking in the usual way, delicious 😋. Great with burgers, spicy chicken & similar meals or just served up with mayo & spicy dips - yummy!🤤😂🤣 I’ve just had a big healthy bowl of home made chicken, veg & rice soup & you ladies have got me craving a big bowl of chips now !🫣
RESIST!🚫❌🛑😂🤣🤣
Neat!
Hello Cheryl 😊
Love this Air fryer but was told had a recall so call company and they said cut the wire and take picture to get a different one 😢 so I did but miss this one
fresh chips far better than frozen ones i think
It looks fab, but £84 is a bit steep for me this year.
Do you have to serve these chips in a mini shopping trolley, or is that optional?
@@WhatsForTea 😂 But very cute, reminds me of the draining baskets in the old style cooker top chip pans of yesteryear, hated those things. Remember my mum having them catch fire 🔥 a couple of times 😱 when we were young, wet towels at the ready & the ordeal of getting them outside quickly, the kitchen stank of smoke for a couple of days!😬
My friend has an airfryer and she boils the chips for 5 minutes then dries them and it only takes a dew minutes. I think itcdepends on the airfryer though she bought one recommended by a caterer friend. I would love one but beyond a pensioners budget
👍❤
braw lookin chips👍
Now make the beer batter, coat the fish and try putting that in an air fryer lol
I prefer home made chips thanks
They were home made! just air fried instead of deep fried or oven cooked
Can you make pies with an air fryer ?
It's just a small oven 🤩 so anything (more or less) that you can make in a standard oven could be made in an air fryer 🙂
1 tablespoon of olive oil.
1 CUP of olive oil more like it LOL.
They look amazing, really nice. However it isn't practical for a family of 4, this is one of the negative things about air fryers, I have a 9L (4.5L - 2 trays) and I have tried everyway possible to cook enough chips for the four of us. I have rinsed the chips, dried them, spray with oil, salt, then I have tried par boiling the chips, dry them, no oil, salt, then soak the chips for an hour, dry them spray oil, salt and set it for 38 mins on 200 degrees, shake them two or three times and after 28 mins they are either still raw, or crispy on the outside but raw in the middle. Everyone who does air fry chips on You Tube gets them just right but they literally cook a dozen chips. So by my calculations all four of us will be eating at different times, that's not to mention what else we are cooking so for example we had frozen fish, I would have to cook the fish at different times. What's the point in that, why make a large 9L air fryer that can only cook a dozen chips, its just not practical and your not saving electric as by the time I have cooked four lots of chips, four different times for the fish, I haven't saved any money on the energy used, in fact I have used more. I am really beginning to regret buying an air fryer, I might have to return it as I cannot see the benefit for a family, for one person, great, but for a family, no chance, and the crazy thing is a 9L air fryer is supposed to feed a family of 8, wow, how??...Also I remembered someone suggested cooking on a lower temp for longer, I tried it and what I got was a crispy skin but nothing in the middle as the longer heat literally dried up he potato in the middle.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
1 tablespoon lol = 1/2 a cup...
Good heavens! What kind of disgraceful person can look at an air fryer and think first of chips??!!
Well - there's ME for a start!! 😂😂😂
Now make your batter, coat the fish and try putting that in an air fryer….
Cosori are getting really bad for this marketing strategy now. Sending out freebies to all & sundry to gain exposure. Cosori Puppets all of them.
Chips in an air fryer? It’s been done thousands of times so not sure why it needed to be done again - but freebies got to be paid for haven’t they.
The mind boggles.
Anyway, looking forward to Sunday’s usual potato fest.
Good evening everyone! 🤩 Thank you for joining me for this weeks recipe video 🙃I’ll join you down in the comments for a wee while x
