I love this type of cars, don't care about what people say, I just want something that can take me to and back from where ever I want cheaply and easily.
Agree❤

it also looks cozy
Take a look at the offerings by Indian Car manufacturers in India, Tata, Mahindra
The use of Do the Hustle at the beginning is absolutely brilliant haha
With the average number of people in a car being 1.5 we really only need bigger cars sporadically. If everyone had cars this size- traffic would be better, local pollution reduced, parking easier, and save a huge amount of money. Cars this size should be mandatory in cities.
Why does this channel only has 169 subs? You deserve to take off man, the production is amazing, very very professional.
Thanks a lot!
Agreed, script is on point, nice tone of voice... All it really needs is better audio...
seems to be growing quite quickly! now over 1k subs
This is exactly what we need to drive around downtown areas in US cities to get from point A to point B and save space.
Wagon R! ✌️
We can only get older ones and the markets already getting crazy. Duncan Imports has kinda cornered the market
did i just discovered an underrated well produced auto review channel?
subscribed! ❤
Thank you!
Yes, you discovered it!
I guess I just did too!
same
I love this little car, its a travelling worker's friend! The storage and versatility in this car is second to none( a under seat storage removable basket!)the front seat has a cupholder on the back for crying out loud, you cannot beat that. Im mad though that alot of this stuff doesnt find its way into their larger family cars like the XL7 and Ertiga.
If I was a young driver, I would be delighted to have this as my first car. The auto /CVT transmission and mild hybrid is something ALL small low powered cars should have, especially in the hilly UK where gear changes every few srconds is a real pain.
I have never seen this Suzuki model before, so thanks for the video.
actually manuals make small cars more fun. and its easier to control speed on downhills or on low speed/low traction situations. most small cars also have light clutches
@@ShaiyanHossain There may be some merit in manual gearboxes for small low powered cars in areas where there are few steep hills. The fun soon runs out when constant gear changes are required, often meaning the car comes to a virtual standstill part way up a steep hill whilst changing from second gear to first, especially if the speed limit is restricted to 20 mph on that road.
i would simply avoid those kinds of roads and situations to begin with. If not then id just sidestep gas n brake and then clutch up whenever lol @@philipcrossley1279
Driven low powered manual box vans and trucks, for many years,a nd like the control of the manual box.
@@philipcrossley1279 i drive manual in traffic up and down hills every day. It keeps my adhd brain in check. The bad part about being stuck in traffic with a manual isnt the manual, its being stuck in traffic in the first place
The delight and enthusiasm you find in this car is magnetic. Definitely gonna have to keep an eye on this channel!
Thank you!
The camerawork you did for this is amazing! What a charming tiny car too. You got yourself a new sub!
Thank you :)
Hi i am japanese.
It is based on the Suzuki Wagon R. It is a car for young people.
Wagon r here has 1000+ cc engine and is a lot bigger.
Wagon R is in India too
Genuinely one of the best car reviews I've ever watched. Excellet job! I wish we had cars like this in America, they're so quirky and cool unlike basically every SUV and crossover everyone seems to have.
Thanks a lot!
as a car enthusiast, I hold kei cars in a very special place in my heart, theyre brilliant, fun (if you're not used to seeing one everyday probably), and practical. It's always a treat to see one on my roads. It's nice that I get the opportunity to see them, but Its unfortunate that the government has implied heavy taxes on import vehicles so they're pretty expensive to buy one here which basically defeats the purpose of these cars. its a huge shame

I have to rewatch the Japanology Plus Kei Cars episode. Your comment triggered me, ahehe!
Cheers & mabuhay, from my end--the Philippines!
@@yengsabio5315 funny because crappy japanese gas cars are now losing to tesla in sales
This is awesome! I wish here in the US more buyers would realize bigger doesn't always mean better!
Beautiful car, these types of car must be introduced in India, it's perfect for middle classes family
It already exist in india. Suzuki espresso
I'm in Australia, I have had 3 Kei cars plus a Steyr haflinger which was even smaller. My first was a Honda acty which we took everywhere, second was a Daihatsu move, the third which I still have is a Mitsubishi minicab minicab miev EV. All have been fun economical and have far more space inside than they should have. Kei cars rule.
I would have expected 1000X the subs. Bravo. Keep up the great work. You're gonna go far.
Thanks a lot!
ngl, i LOVE how suzuki is designing cars now. The jimny and this look cute as hell, along with being retro, along with actually being practical.
Great video production and presenting. Subscribed. Hope this channel takes off!
Thanks!
Just stumbled upon this channel today! Brilliant music in the beginning and the review is very professional too. Subscribed!
Thanks! I was waiting for someone to notice the music choice :)
Adorable. I own a 2023 Suzuki S-Cross AllGrip, but now I want to swap it for a Hustler! 😍
The camerawork you did for this is amazing))
Thank you!
I bought a 2019 model about 6 weeks ago. It's a 9/10 for me. The economy is crazy . The only thing missing from this is the highway drive. It does start to struggle after 90 km speed. So much fun to drive in the city. I only wish it was a 1.0 litre engine. It would have been worth the fuel consumption sacrifice but still it's worth every penny
Glad you’re enjoying the car!
Have you tried the turboed version? I recently had a go in it and it’s surprisingly much more capable on the highway in terms of power! It’s by no means fast, but I found it fast _enough_ for 110kph roads.
@@Papa_POV I did but it was out of my price range ( nearly 2000 euros more expensive) and the colors weren't my taste. Also it's a very rare car to find this car in general. Probably like 4-5 in the whole country
I have an 800cc Suzuki hatch and it can still go 120km/h or higher. I actually tour the car in the country roads.
What was the fuel economy?

i like how your shirt matches the colour of the car
Cracking review, detailed, upbeat, no pausing between points of note. I'm sold and want one but not sold in the UK, so I'll just subscribe instead! You deserve more subscribers. Cheers, Simon (UK).
Thanks Simon!
I feel like if more cars like this were available in the states, it could encourage more people to buy a car (and increase workman productivity) , and hopefully eventually buy another pleasure car.
I saw it on Singapore roads and i like it. It's beautiful.
Great review, looking forward to more videos from your channel!
Thanks :)
These are used by a lot of college campuses around Wisconsin! I always love seeing them! They get imported as the "Busy Badger" low speed vehicles
Underrated channel...
Subbed! 👍🏻
Thanks!
This is a great video. You definitely earned a sub.
Cheers
Thanks!
6 liters per 100 km is crazy!
Suzuki should come to Nigeria
Fantastic review!!🙂
Thanks!
They really went and packed all the neat outdoorsy quirks of the Pontiac Aztek into a kei car, the absolute madmen
Cuteness overloaded
New sub here. This channel will definitely blow up.
Thanks!
OMG so cute ❤ love it
I am letting you know the future that this channel will be big in near future . Respect every transport on 4 wheel .
Thanks!
I want this car immediately. Also the matching shirt color was a pro move.
If this would be sold in Germany, I would buy it right away! I just need a little motor for getting around together with my two dogs. And a 4x4? Yes! I have been looking at the Suzuki Ignis 4x4 which is a cute and little, and very peculiar wee car. Love it!
Your enthusiasm is awesome! Keep it up! This video was very entertaining to watch! Thank you!
スーパーマーケット用。日々の買い物は楽ですよ。小さくて。
Thanks!
Awesome car, awesome channel, with you all the success!
Thanks a lot!
Suzuki please bring this to the Philippine market!
yeah. How I wish...
Kei-level cars may not be able to thrive like non-kei sub1000cc cars (alto, wigo) since ph people wants power to bring heavy stuff around. Spresso by suzuki ressembles this though
I remember this car in this very color with Toriyama’s ARALE stickers parked inside shopping centers in Tokyo back in 2015
Wow, found this video by accident but love how you present the car. Also, the car is great - I really wish that more such cars were released here in Europe!
Thanks!
Cracking car, we need this in the UK with the turbo Cappucino engine. Beautifully practical and fun too at a great price. All cars should be like this and drivers might smile a bit more... Fun review.
Thanks!
Nice video!
I like how you wore an orange shirt for the review!
Thank you!
Such a fun and informative video
Thanks!
I hired a Daihatsu Move while I was on vacation on Tanegashima in Japan, it was such a good car for me and the roads. I'm 6'2" with short legs and a long torso so the cramped footwell wasn't so much an issue and the high roof made it feel roomy. It was slow AF but it was pleasant to drive, I'd have one as a second car in the UK for sure.
Fj 144p cruise sir 😄. Looks like it. No complaining.
Seems like a good car for doing food deliveries
Love the orange!
we need this car class also in Europe!
Sana makarating din sa Pilipinas ang modelong yan at siguradong tatangkilikin naming mga pinoy yan. Ang cute e.
Agreed! Plus, this size of car is brilliant for navigating through traffic.
@@Papa_POV how the hell did you understand that lol
I’m Filipino! My spoken Tagalog is pretty broken but I understand it well.
I want to learn more about cars ans I think you're doing a phenomenal job. Really charming car. Very retro-80's-futuristic vibes.
Thanks!
What a Hustle! Oh, dear! Kei kura, hai!
Cutie petite car!
Here at my end--the tropical Philippines--I drive the Suzuki Carry for good measure!

The USA needs a legal Kei car spec for budget-minded people with basic transportation needs.

I FOUND THIS CHANNEL RN AND I CANT WAIT FOR THIS CHANNEL TO BLOW UP BUT FOR NOW THERES ONLY 205 SUBS
Thanks!
Where is this video shot? It is gorgeous :)
Thanks!
The video was shot in Hong Kong in areas around Tung Chung, HK airport, Disneyland, and Fei Ngo Shan.
I am from the US and it makes me sad we never get cool little cars like this. We had a Smart for Two EV and loved it.
We don’t either! Most kei cars are imported aside from the Suzuki Hustler and Every which are technically imported by Suzuki themselves (they’re a bit more expensive here than in Japan) but sold here officially.
We’re just extremely fortunate to have almost no restrictions on RHD imports. As a result, kei cars and other JDM vehicles are so popular here.
Oh so cute!
Fun car, fun review! 😊
Thank you!
This looks like an awesome little car! I'd buy this if they sold it in Europe. Also great video!
Thank you!
This channel have 2 videos uploaded with 1k subs and the video quality is very good am I missing something??
Thanks :)
sooo cute
I want this car! Why isnt this available in the PH
Right?? Hybrid kei cars like this would be perfect for Manila traffic!
It’s so cuuuuuuuuute
I'm based in Tung Chung as well! Would you recommend this for a first time driver with a probationary license (
Absolutely! This is one of those cars that’s fun all the time, even when going slowly. Besides, with its dimensions and lack of insulation, 70kph feels fast already.
Aside from that, it’s easy to maneuver and park (this will easily fit into parking spaces in HK with enough room to widely open the doors), it’s insanely practical for its size, and fuel efficiency is fantastic.
@@Papa_POV Awesome, thanks! Do you think driving the Hustler on the Lantau highway is safe for a newbie like me (granted I'll be limited to ~70 kph)?
Definitely! Just chill in the left lane with the buses and other HGVs. Though the limit is 110, people in the second lane usually drive ~90-100 (at least in my experience) so the speed delta with the cars next to you isn’t that large.
Though, given its high speed limit, people are not patient with slow drivers on this highway and some occasionally tailgate/flash high beams if you’re too slow (to tell you to move left), so only overtake if you have plenty of space behind you.
Never heard of this vehicle. But i want one.
Perfect in big cities traffic
Is it available in India?
i dont mind being slow. but can it climb steep road?
This reminds me of the original Mini. I wish it was available in USA
How did you shoot POV videos ? Gopro ?
Yep! The POV parts were shot with a GoPro Hero12.
Great video.
I wish the same automakers who made kei cars would add some of the practicality and features into their larger cars. Some kei cars have more storage than midsize sedans.
I would be interested in trying this thing out but it looks like a death trap. You would have to be very cautious.
Though after owning a Honda subcompact I feel the build quality on kei cars must leave a lot to be desired on a model even cheaper. My Honda Fits build quality is terrible. You get what you pay for with cheap cars. I have leaks, build quality errors, and panels fall off. I just suspect a car with even lower profits had even more cost cutting.
Thank you!
Agreed! I recently sat in a Mazda CX60 (which is pretty large!) and was shocked that it felt so much more cramped than this despite it taking a significantly larger footprint.
Build quality is actually pretty good in this particular car! But yes, thin doors and lack of many safety features mean that this feels quite fragile on the highway compared to non-kei cars. But I suppose that’s what you expect for a car strictly designed for the city.
@@Papa_POValot of people forget Mazda's ethos is form over function, their trunks for instance are often the worst in class because they emphasize curved body and passenger cavities that lead to less usable space inside.
The thing with k cars is that although they can run at highway speed but they are still strictly meant for city commuting and not cross country road trips, so they can maximize interior space by approaching as close to the limits allowed as they can. But if they were to be used here in the us, all that fuel economy advantages they have in Japan would be nonexistent here
Huge fan of Kei cars, small cars in general and Suzuki as a brand, so this ticks all the boxes!. Not much Kei cars here in the UK what with shipping costs, import taxes and value of the Pound vs Yen, plus of course the fact that (it would seem) the majority of people would rather have needlessly huge SUV's🙁
I'm sure I've read that even in Japan Kei cars are actually dying out which would be a terrible shame. Such a fantastic diversity of designs and shapes and they are generally such happy little things😊
Heyy it's the Dr Driving car!!
Suzuki should make this available in Left hand drive for most Asia markets too
Agreed!
We have s-presso in India currently which looks quite similar to this.
It looks like the modern bronco's dorky little brother!
Great video, and cool car. The interior quirkiness and clever solutions are a great idea but tbh the driving position feels kinda unsafe, not just unconfortable. Wonder what EuroNCAP rating it would get in Europe.
A car that's similarly clever but somewhat bigger is the Skoda Yeti, also with an interesting layout inside but bigger
Thanks!
I’d imagine since it lacks any sensors, seatbelt pre-tensioners, side/curtain airbags and ADAS, it would score pretty low in Euro NCAP.
I’ve heard about the clever design features that Skodas offer. I wish we got them here! Sadly, all we get is VW.
This car can be a hit in Indian market
I want my next car to have as close as safety regs allow to a front bench seat for two. CAKE were right in "stickshifts and safety belts" - safety considerations aside.
"A lot of good caaaaaaaars are Japaneeeese"
Beautiful. I think China has electric versions of these types of cars....if possible review some
That would be cool, but sadly right now, HK only has a few Chinese car models for sale. HK people are more western and prefer Japanese/European brands.
it seems fun car to drive
Great video, I wish we could get these newer models in the US but at least we are starting to get 1999 models with some better engine tech.
Thanks!
Its so crazy I feel like im just watching Doug DeMuro
Except this guy isn't arrogant.
Thsse designs are refreshing and should be tried in Bharat
Its similar to espresso
*India
Lord espresso upgrade😂😂😂
I wish something like this would be more successful in America, esp in the cities like New York and LA. If there was a fully electric or hybrid option, this would be the perfect car for me. trying to accommodate all these big fuck-off trucks and crossovers is a fool's errand, if we have to continue using personal vehicles, we should be looking more to things like this. They're not glamorous but they're efficient and they get the job done.
Have you seen the Nissan Sakura? It’s a kei car EV and I think you’d love it!
@@Papa_POV Aesthetically speaking, I'm a really big fan of the Honda E, that's a car that I think actually has a chance of doing well here. These cars are cheap but the import costs alone would nearly double their price :(
@@Papa_POV Also this is some gourmet content, keep it up 朋友
Thanks!
It sure looks fun to drive in city traffic. 600cc kind of explains that. But it gives economy of 16kmpl as you say (time 15.50) that's kinda low for mild hybrid. I use to drive TATA NANO which had 650cc engine without auto start stop or hybrid use to give me 15 kmpl in city and decent 18 kmpl on highways with top speed of 100km/h on highway. Now I drive a Suzuki Wagon r non hybrid 1 liter 4 cylinder with auto start stop, which gives above 17kmpl in city. And 24kmpl on highway if I cruise just bellow 100kmh speed and around 21 kmpl if I cruise above 100kmh.
Edit :: I'm 6feet3 and 93 kgs, I fit well in both the cars even if they're K cars.
In India it's sold as espresso. With design change
Can we get this in the USA?
