Hi Canon, can you please help me? I been trying to download the EOS utility 3 to my mac OS Sierra, for some reason its not working, I need this software to use my mac as a monitor when filming with my canon camera 700D, is it anything I might be doing wrong? thank you
Hi there! Your EOS 700D, known as the Rebel T5i here in the US, uses EOS Utility 2 instead of EOS Utility 3. The update for the latest version can be downloaded from our website at Canon.us/emxb We hope this helps!
Hi There, I have the same camera and have installed utility 2 on my mac, however it does not give me an option to focus my camera when on manual focus (autofocus makes a lot of noise )
Hi Canon, I really want this utility to show larger views of the images on the camera. I know this is not what it is designed for but why not add to the design. The version that runs on my phone can show a larger version of the photo then the PC version. I like the fact that you don't have to download the photo to the PC before viewing it on a larger format.
Hello John: There are many variables that could prevent the camera from being seen. Causes could depend on what if any error code is displayed when you connect your camera. This did not start until after I downloaded DDP4-which works with only a wifi setting. I would rather simply have a tethered camera. Turning off the wifi does NOT fix the problem. EOS 3 is greyed out. Tried to delete and reinstall 3 times. Thanks
