Brickmania also uses official Lego pieces as well as Brick Veteran and a few others (such as Republic Bricks) and Citizen Brick. I have never heard of this company until TH-cam recommended this video. I have to say, it's a cool review and a cool set.
Bricklink lists it as: Windscreen 12 x 6 x 2 with Locking Dual 2 Fingers Hinge (Item No: 13252 Alternate Item No: 51477) in Trans-Brown (Old Trans-Black) Sadly the piece doesn't have the perfect shape either and it's a bit too huge. You have to modify the cockpit slightly to create some space for this canopy. I think 12 long is alright but it would look better if it was only 4 wide instead of 6. Also the top part of the canopy is a bit too short, I guess it should have about a third of the length of the whole canopy.

Some of their sets have minor flaws but BlueBrixx comes up with a lot of very detailed and awesome sets.

True, I don't like it either. I have replaced it with a "real" canopy by LEGO.
