I did not say Swedish is ugly. I said perhaps for some it sounds ugly, as you said about Dutch. I think it is not necessary to comment on any language, cause to some might appeal very well. And guess how many foreigners study Dutch abroad then or in the Netherlands at universities? Have a nice day too, heja Sverige, jag alskar dag.
Perhaps to you as someone from Sweden it is not ugly, but to other ears Swedish might sound very odd and strange and even ugly. I think every language has its charm and its own sound and there is no need in judging whether a language is ugly or not. For many people Dutch is a nice language. Perhaps Swedish sounds more like the chuckling of chickens for example....
My understanding is Sweden decided not to take part because of money problems if the winner came from they wouldn’t have the money to do another show there also there were public protests
haha sorry, but i met a dutch girl today, and she made dutch sound, not beautiful, but nice! It wasnt so nice here, but the girl made it so! Haha i dont know any dutch, but i would like to write sth back, haha
