- A song that seems to have more relevance in todays world. "Bridge over Troubled Water" is a song composed by American singer-songwriter Paul Simon and recorded by Simon & Garfunkel in 1970.

That was simply awesome Geoff. A bridge, over troubled waters, there's so much water that is very troubled in our world today. We've got to find, to build so many bridges around us. There are so many people that are hurting, hungry, sick and homeless, all we have to do is walk out of our homes, pick a street, any street, start walking and we'll find those that are helpless and in need of assistance.
"Lord, I ask that you lead me to a soul in need, give me the words and the wisdom to reach these that are in desperate need'. "Help me to be a bridge".

I am sitting here with tears rolling down my cheeks. I can feel the pain of all the homeless, as well as the mentally, and physically, damaged that suffer among us. So very often those that have simply don't want to see the plight of those that do not have. The broken ones get kicked aside, no matter why or how they got into that situation. Often it is because of war that they fought to supposedly protect all of us. Usually that is not why wars are fought at all. Usually it is because some one in a position of power sees a way to get more power, and those with no power are expendable. Even more often it is their own parents, that failed them because their parents also failed them. The sins of the fathers vested upon the children for many generations. We ignore the scriptures, and thereby do harm unto our own children. I see it all around me, and I can also see the places that I fell short. It seems the plight of mankind is to always be less then they should be. Adam and Eve were left to make a decision based upon their own reasoning, and we as their descendants have the same weakness. In many cases it looks like we have to be old enough to die of old age, before we can see what we should have done in our youth. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talents with us who have been lucky enough to see, and hear them.

A Bridge over water so troubled when doubled is so beautiful indeed. It's the kind of mood music upon which one can feed. Listen to that heart warming sound it's one of the best around. So without a shred of a doubt it brings out the solemn peace of life to ward off strife.
