I own a 2021 Ninja 1000SX tourer for my daily rides. Excellent bike. I love the looks of the GSXS1000GT and the lower seat position. But the more forward position is a step too far for me. I am glad to see Suzuki joining the competition.
My main pull to the Kawa is the the IMU for better lean angle in twisties. Despite the weight, do you think this is true? I do love the larger TFT on the Suzuki but the idea of having an IMU on a ST is great. Aside from that I wish the Kawa had OEM panniers (they're 28 liters) that were as large as Suzukis (36L OEM) panniers. Obviously can upgrade but the OEM ones are slick on both, and thats a full 16 liters of difference in just the saddlebags.
I own the Ninja and it is one of the best motorcycles I've ever owned. That being said, I've been thinking about trying out the Suzuki. This is the best and most consise head to head I've seen so far. 👍
@@lovelessissimoHello, I believe I'm getting around 42mpg? Though I've never really calculated it? I can say that I have ridden 210 to 215 miles on a fill up. So whatever that equates too? Tho my bike is a 2011, I assume the newer model gets better gas mileage. As I said earlier I have not ridden the GSX1000 yet, but the Ninja is an incredible motorcycle and has replaced my ZX-14, Hayabusa & Aprilia as a sportbike and a touring bike. It just does everything so well!
I liked the presentation. Obviously, lots of time gone in to the production. Great source of info when combined with actual riders reports. Thanks. 10 out of 10 from me !
Dude. Your channel is awesome. I like how you did the presentation. Keep it coming! p/s: I'm a Suzuki fan. If I have to choose between these 2 bikes, definitely suzuki 😁
the ninja's front brake calipers are tokico! if you look inside the caliper on the disc side, you will find the inscription tokico (sorry for my english)
Looks like Suzuki made the better bike, except the brakes. It's lighter and faster. Maybe this will motivate Kawasaki to get off their ass and improve the Ninja 1000.
If you think achieving the standing quarter half a second quicker is more important than having a smooth refined experience you are wrong. To be honest, the only thing i wish the ninja had that the Gsx has is the big tft screen (+ the functions that go with it) If you want to travel long distances in comfort the Ninja is still the way to go. It doesnt need more power.
Brand loyal? Makes it tough to have an opinion unless you try different things. I guess that exactly what brands try to create. Yes, I’m not brand loyal I simply go with what’s the best product.
On paper the Suzuki looks a bit better but I’ve herd there is nothing remotely bad on the ninja and a little more tweaking can be done on the Suzuki, Would love to sit on a Suzuki if I can find a local dealer that has one, either way I think I’ll unload the crotch rocket and get one these bikes
I Owned a SX and sold it almost immedately. It is heavy , the engine boring. But the Suzuki ist brilliant. Stable ,fast, comfortable not exactly sweet looking. The best is the chassis. Never hat a bike i had that much confidence in. That makes me smile and i guess i'm faster than with any bike i owned before. Hopefully i will not get too fast. More fun less touring = Susi.
Suzuki is a race breed animal (engine from legendary k5 gixer 1000), chassis, swingarm, gear ratios....it is all about fast canyon riding... kawa is fast but not in hury like suzuki, very different characters... rode both ...i prefer suzuki.. peg positions on kawa..on tip toes on hanging you touch rear pegs etc... kawa can keep on with suzi but it is actually refined tourer...
I like the ninja, but it's a little tall for me. I'm waiting for the Suzuki, either this one or the GSX s1000. The previous gsx s1000 fits me well. The rest of the comparison is like splitting hairs to me. I like the naked gsx s1000 and I'm patiently waiting for them to appear here in the U.S. I prefer a handlebar which the Suzuki has. I've had both Kawasaki's and Suzuki's in the past, and their both great bikes.
@@surferdude642 I ended up buying a Z, and found out it is actually very popular outside the US and has a huge aftermarket. Plus, you can put Shad 3P racks on it and use it for a (very) sporty upright touring bike.
@@surferdude642 to be honest, it isn't the most comfy seat. I will be going to Glacier Nat'l Park from Sacramento this year. I will probably use an air seat cover for the trip.
I rode both and liked them both.I preferred the Ninja and would have bought it but got such a good deal on the GT that it tipped the balance. I like it but wish I had gone the extra ££'s and got the Ninja. Still, next time !!
I have no idea why the manufacturers of bikes claim way more Bhp than they actually do out of the store...Even after the ECU is flashed, and remapped to a decat. and full high performance exhaust, the GT barley makes 150 HP...Stock it's maybe making 135...

I rode them both and I bought the Ninja, did love that bigger TFT dash though, but the Ninja was just a better all rounder

fantastic engine , more sport than tourer.

That's great. My z900 gets 40 on a good day. I have been curious about the N1k.
if you own one whats the point in switching. the money you'd lose.
Comparison lacks front brake pump type: radial on the kawasaki, axial on suzu... so a win for kawa here

had a 2013 sx sold it and just bought the new one ninja sx 2024 ..love it.
That was a dam impressive video my friend .
Ninja owner, it's perfect. Can't go wrong with Kawi
Fantastic comparison, super job guys. What took me so long to find this channel
Owned both, Suzi more fun. Kwai is more sensible and quiet. Better quality. I still have the ninja.
I can tell so much work went into this video. i love the format. Im thinking about the Suzuki. This was very helpful. thanks buddy.

Faster? They have about the same top speed. Suzuki is geared stupidly low.

Wonderful Bikes
Lovely paint jobs.

great music with these videos

Wowww gsx-s 1000 sound is super ❤️❤️❤️😍🔥🔥🔥
I heard that Suzuki has less quality tires than the Kawasaki. Excellent comparison
The only thing i don't like about my ninja 1000 is the tail signal light design. The rubber becomes brittle and breaks off every 2 years.
Thanks for this! I'm trying to decide which one will replace my 2014 VFR. I'm leaning towards the Ninja
suzuki is always the king in terms of powerto weight ratio
Great video
Wow that's Good.. God bless to this channel adventure bike next
Excellent video and graphic
Superb video. Thank you so much.
Kawi green !
U did it bro ❣️❣️❣️
Have GSX for 6000km but avg. consumption 5.1 is almost imposible. She is super seductive, you cannot ride her like a touring.

Yes this channel and MCN are my go to channels!
These flash tuners like Moore Mafia are getting much improved performance little investment or deterioration of durability on both of these beauties.

You should try the z900. I tested the Ninja and found it to be a little too tall as well. The Z is not only the right size, but it is way lighter.

I have a 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX it is a torque monster. 6th gear and you can go down to 40 mph

Kawasaki all day long
Suzuki and Kawasaki🔥🔥🔥
Suzuki 👍👍👍
They are both great bikes. The only thing I hate about the Suzuki is the bloody pushbike handlebar. Not much of a 21st century stuff.
