So here's the story so far. In the original Terrifier, he's human and a serial killer, at the end when he shoots himself, he isn't expecting to come back, but the demon entity ressurects him. In the second Terrifier he's kind of confused in the morgue and laundry scene because he doesn't get how he got there. That's when he meets the physical incarnation of the pale girl. That's the demon occupying a human host. The host was ART's first victim, Emily Crane. This is also, when you get glimpses of ART'S new powers. Like the bedroom scene. Notice how he was able to prevent her from dying in order to implement even more torture. You also see that his eye and skull have healed since the beginning of the movie. Again, a show of his supernatural powers. We also see him able to attack in Siennas dreams like Freddy Krueger. The ending shows the pale girl taking his head. It then shows Victoria giving birth to ART'S head and you see her eyes glow yellow because the demon left the pale girl and now inhabits Victoria. Which brings us to part 3. This time the demon wants the pureness of Sienna, because without her, nothing can stand in their way. I hope it all makes sense now. I'm hoping part 4 is just as good!
Omg tysm for explaining this because I remember in the first film he's dressing up as a clown in the beginning like he's a human but then he's back in the second movie, so then I was like he must not be human but I wasn't sure at all so this helped so much! Also, does that mean we don't get to see the pale girl in the third movie?
The reason why the practical effects had this huge upgrade in this one , is because they got the legendary Tom Savini onboard, he even has a Cameo in the movie.
@@daniel1798 oh I see. Cheers for that, I tried to find a source for it and I couldn’t find any names on it. Good cameo though. Awesome to see him in the movie.

Tinsley Studios were responsible for The Practical Effects and Makeup Leone just handed it over to them. So that he can focus solely on The Directing side of it Savini did not do The Practical Effects. He may have had some influence on a little of it but Tinsley Studios were the reason those Practical Effects were soo successful.
Seeing TERRIFIER 3 with a full house was amazing. All of us laughing and gasping. It was such a fun experience. We were all in this together. This 2 hour bloodbath. You could 'feel' the energy in the room as Art did his horrible stuff. We all endured it. This was a solid slasher film. I must praise this movie. The first 5 minutes were gorier than most slasher movies are in there entirety. So mean and vile. Art dressing like Santa and killing the family. Hearing the screams. Like damn. Shit was messed up. I also must applaud David Howard Thornton. He really brings such a comedic vibe to Art. Makes him so much more interesting than Freddy or Jason. He takes such glee in the horror he inflicts. Art is charismatic. The shower scene with the chainsaw and the guy's ass....ugh. Gross. Nope. First 5 minutes and the shower scene were two stand out moments. I will mention the mall bomb, but as far as 'iconic scenes' go I'm not sure it'll be as remembered for me personally. That's my simple review....but now I'll detail this like the Art the Clown fan I am. While this was super good, this wasn't as good as Terrifier 2 in my opinion The thing I liked about T2 was the mixture of horror and fantasy. Sienna started off as a normal girl, then was a sort of hero, out to vanquish the evil of Art. The sequel was mixing two of my favorite things. Art the Clown with a dash of Xena Warrior Princess or Red Sonja. Sure, the magic sword came back-but seeing the final girl dressed as a warrior was iconic. I hope in T4 she gets that look back. I also think the climatic fight between Sienna and Art in the second one was so, so epic. So many moving parts. While I think T3 is more of a brutal affair, I didn't like...enjoy it as much. I also feel the ending of T2 was more satisfying. Art did all this horrible stuff, mangled a poor woman in a bedroom and then he meets his match. The ending to this film wasn't quite as powerful-but maybe when I see the fourth I'll like this ending more? I also don't think the bedroom seen was rivaled, the shower scene came close and was a totally gruesome affair. There's something in the screenplay of T2 that just clicked with me. I gotta really messed up idea. If Jonathan is really dead, I think the 4th film should open with Art just massacring him-think something like the bedroom scene. Audience hears Jonathan screaming and crying before the title card O_o
Okay ive read your comment before really starting the video and im wondering one thing. You mention the chainsaw, is that like... along the lines of SA? It lowkey sounds like it from what ive seen & im worried abt that.
@@beeboi0097fam. He cuts the man’s arm off and his leg, then puts a chainsaw up his ass then just cuts halfway up his body, and you’re worried about SA?
Damien has said that T3 was the empire strikes back of the franchise in regards to the bleaker ending, which I think was the greatest part of the movies so far. 3 movies of brutal but mostly fun Art kills made me think it would be impossible to be genuinely scared but from the moment sienna wakes up it is like a progressive waking nightmare that just gets darker and darker and then crescendos into an epic fight that genuinely had my heart pounding and fists clenched rooting for sienna to kill them both. Can’t fucking wait for the 4th one
I didn't mind the fact we didn't get Valkyrie Sienna here because I do feel like she'll return to the outfit in 4, however, I didn't think of that idea you said of the actual heaven-forged armour, that'd be so sick! Glad to see somebody else cool with 2's length. It seems like the people who are really engaged with the story/characters are the ones least bothered by 2. It's honestly become like, a comfort movie for me, really easy rewatch even with the length, I like spending time with the characters. That skull twist at the end of 3 was a shock, that entire portion of the movie was just so crazy, felt really sorry for Sienna, she's really going through it! Going to make her bad-ass saving in 4 all the better though! Also it's hard to say what part was funniest, however the bar scene is one highlight and the part of Art overhearing the shower talk was possibly the loudest laughs at the theater (on that first watch, still gotta watch it again!)! Loved the movie overall. I think 2 is still the coolest but this one I felt was the best.
And, personally, I LOVE the head flesh rip to reveal skull in the attic of the abandoned house, and that kill on Santa/Daniel Roebuck was magic too. The feeding tube also was creative AF.
You mention that the movies feel sort of funny and sort of still scary and I totally agree. I think it’s because they do such a wonderful job of always making art feel truly menacing. Like he’s certainly fun and goofy with his mannerisms and physicality, but he always remains frightening. So when you’re laughing at him being silly it always feels like uneasy laughter, because you know that the moment the silliness stops he’s gonna do something truly horrendous. And I love that they consistently manage to do this balancing act. It’s so easy for slasher killers to start menacing, but as the franchise goes on, become less and less so as the filmmakers lean more into camp and self-awareness. I mean this is art’s third major film appearance, and by the time Freddy Kreuger was in his third movie, the goofiness was already starting to outweigh the fear.
We don't know for sure Johnathan was that skull just because Art put glasses on it. Maybe he was f*cking with them. It would have been a skull from the room mate or his girl friend. I was disappointed Johnathan didn't get more screentime.
This movie is really gonna make me cry as soon as it leaves the theater bc I had a blast with terrifier 3 in theaters and it's an amazing experience I could never forget
My favorite kill was when art and vicky wake up from hibernation and art scalps the guy with a box cutter and then peals his skin over his face and meanwhile vicky is getting herself off with a piece of glass lol
I’ve fallen in love with this franchise, I watched all 3 for the first time this year. I think what’s really helps the horror comedy balance is Art himself. The bar scene with Santa is a great example. Yeah he’s funny, but underneath all that we as viewers know what he’s capable of and things will get crazy at any second. Whenever he’s on screen there’s always some level of tension and anxiety.
There may not be a lore reason. Damien said the reason for the 5 year jump was because Jonathon (Eliot Fulham) had a massive growth spurt. So it sounds like the hibernation thing was just an excuse to jump 5 years. They may create a reason though at some point.
In the first movie Art was a regular human under the influence of the demon, sort of like Nick Cage in Longlegs, not really acting of his own free will, more like he was trying to Level Up and being guided by an invisible outside force. Art was an avatar in the 2nd movie, a resurrected agent of the demon who took the form of Art's first victim Emily aka The Pale Girl, like Moon Knight being given supernatural abilities like a healing factor and above average strength by the entity Khonshu, the demon was directly influencing Art through psychotic visions. In the 3rd movie the demon/Pale Girl had already possessed Vicky directly after Part 2 ended, who then gave birth to Art's head, I assume she had to eat it after Sienna beheaded him. Art's 3rd form was still empowered until the demon was killed by the magic sword causing Art to revert to a normal human again. It's like getting to the Final Boss in a game only to die and realize you accidentally deleted all your saves since the tutorial and have to begin a new game.
I also missed the longer scenes, also some scenes just felt omitted all together, but hopefully they will release the directorsX when it releases. I think the jump cuts also kinda' hurt with the hitting of emotions/expectations. Like when you are cutting and moving fast in live action 'specually, it feels like you can't really ~feel~ anything it's just like random scenes, no time to register it completely. So the atmosphere kind of slightly took a hit when it came to the emotional aspect, still a great film though. My fave looking for sure that colour grading and contrast/lens, gorgeous.
Hell´s bells this bloody fellow is still a menace. Although Art, the Clown continues the evil crusade, Sienna Shaw rises to the challenge as the Valkyrie Champion of justice. Curious to see each character possible get new update to their outfits and weapons that control heaven and hell respectively.
I think my fave moment was when the crime podcast girl told her boyfriend no she didn't want to fuck Art and Art has this open mouthed offended/shocked look on his face.
What i really liked is on an outside perspective Sienna seems to be loosing a grip with reality and after gabbi reads sienna's diary she becomes terrified when sienna has a breakdown

I'm with you, I made my life about these films, I love these films, it's both one ofmy fiances and myself favorite things. While we weren't madly in love in this like T2, we loved this film. The cinematography gave me Black Christmas vibes, the kills (while NOT AT ALL the bedroom scene) were creative, gory AF, but classy for what they were, Damien has a touch about him to add charm to this chaos. Art, wow, this fucker is a Mr Bean gone psychotic type, fucking love it. My only real gripe is the lack of jonathan, and that even though the collective kills might have been better, not a single kill compares to the bedroom scene. This movie was so character driven, amazing individual performances. Especially by Lauren LaVera(GREAT CALL ON HER CHANNELING JANE LEVY/MIA FROM EVIL DEAD 2013!!!), David Howard Thornton, Krsy Fox, Daniel Roebuck, Samantha Scafeddi, ect. 4.5/5-9/10. Best film of the year, well worth the wait 🎅🤡🪓🔥🖤🤘
the whole aftermath after part 2, her going to trial etc, i didnt even think about and i spent 2 years thinking about theories. so now, i feel like sienna is for sure wanted, abd will be arrested or be in hiding from cops. everyone will think shes the killer. she actually might be totally imagining art at this point, who knows lol. the fight club endingbwouldnt work though.
If a viewer can make it through the opening scene, The flashback to five years ago AND the scene with the two demolition workers, they should be able to get through the movie.
I don’t get why art left sienna alive when she was saving gabby. She was distracted it was a perfect time to kill her . Instead he just ran off ? I ain’t a fan of when movies do stuff that don’t make sense to keep the main character alive.
Awesome video! I saw this movie with my mom yesterday loved it I'm New to your channel you got yourself a new subscriber I don't mind child death in movies as long as its done in a certain way or like in megen or rob zombie Halloween the kid is unlikable I don't like seeing cats killed sence I lost my cat and I'm autistic and I love horror movies my favorite is m3gan and the way you look up to Johnathan I look the same way to Cady In m3gan since I have a toxic relationship with my own sister Cady felt like a sibling that I grew attached to sence I met her last year
GIRLLLL SHIT UP MY NAME IS KATIE TOOOOOOO AND I LOVE ART LMAO😂😂😂 I ALSO HAVENT SEEN ANG WOMEN COVER TERRIFIER 3 YET AND THE FIRST ONE THAT DOES IS NAMED KATIE AWESOME!!!!!!
Jonathan was really annoying to me honestly this time around. I mean the skepticism he had was the typical Trope that is used for people who don't believe. What makes it more annoying is he's somebody that should believe. It's like hello you dealt with Art before how is this a stretch.
@@higurashianduminekoconnect1702 he's just in denial. Would you want to believe if you were Jonathan? I think it's more wishful thinking than disbelief. Please please please don't be true...oh crap.
I feel like it was pretty believable with the situation, his age, the fear of Art. He'd probably want to push it aside, and while as audience members, we naturally love Sienna, iunno, it's not too hard to see it from Jonathan's point of view to me. He's probably tried his best to help her through some of her breakdowns already, but has to see it still not letting up, and being told that the evil murderer who almost killed them and put them both through immense pain/torment is back... heck, the Christmas setting I feel emphasizes the idea that after scary times, there's at least some security once it's done. Except y'know, false sense of security. If anything it would have been nice to at least see their dynamic fleshed out, cause it's evident lots happened between 2/3. Maybe we'll get some flashback in 4 but we'll see whatever happens!
Well I think he thought it was over and that Sienna ended it and was just coping through shoving everything down. He eventually came around and that is when they had to bring in cuts for his part I assume and we didn't get much more of him being on board with everything
Jonathan isn’t dead. Victoria lied about the skull once already. Victoria was trying to break Siennas will. We never seen him die. Jonathan never finished his arc. He refused his call to action in this movie and sat it out. He will NEED to accept what he must do and come help Sienna I’m so shocked so many people believe a main character is dead because a lying demon told you so… wild
Idk, the scene where the uncle came to pick up Johnathan he was on the phone with Vicky so I’d assume they got to Johnathan and killed both the uncle and Johnathan
I haven't seen terrifier 3 but part 2 was not that good and gore was so much it was almost boring I need more suspense and story. The first one wasn't great but I thought it was better and was more grind house feel more creepy I also thought all hallows Eve was way better than terrifier 2 as well I think those first two compliment each other . Having a great movie is what makes characters iconic that's why Freddy Jason Michael Myers even jeepers creepers are classics . If nightmare on elm Street was written by Damien Leone it would be not even be as big as it was lol
Love it, I only have one complaint. They broke the tradition of a bonus video after the credits. After final battle credits should've rolled then the bus stop scene should've been after the credits.
Everyone's got different tastes in movies, depending on what life they've led, they'll resonate with different stories. What's your favourite movie? Cause I'm sure there's someone out there who thought it was overrated trash

Loved the movie! I was so sad about Jonathan as well! I'm hoping that wasn't him! BTW, love your outfit! ❤
WELCOME BACK
the whole aftermath after part 2, her going to trial etc, i didnt even think about and i spent 2 years thinking about theories. so now, i feel like sienna is for sure wanted, abd will be arrested or be in hiding from cops. everyone will think shes the killer. she actually might be totally imagining art at this point, who knows lol. the fight club endingbwouldnt work though.
If a viewer can make it through the opening scene, The flashback to five years ago AND the scene with the two demolition workers, they should be able to get through the movie.
For sure, though the last kill was the grossest to me, hahaha
Where did you get your art the clown costume???
Honestly I feel like they kidnapped Jonathan and kept him alive cause they also gave the guy on the train a off death scene as well
I think they "shut down" maybe to recover from his wounds and getting back to full power perhaps
Whoever has seen it please tell me, do we get to see the little pale girl!?
No, sadly :(
@@upshurr that's unfortunate
When I first look at the Dad he reminds me of Justin Roiland (the former co-creator of Rick and Morty)
Awesome review. Dropped a sub 🎅🎅🎅
I feel like the start was too slow, and the 2nd flowed a lot better. The SWord thing was a bit much, was never going to work. Freakin' Jonathan!
Jonathan was really annoying to me honestly this time around. I mean the skepticism he had was the typical Trope that is used for people who don't believe. What makes it more annoying is he's somebody that should believe. It's like hello you dealt with Art before how is this a stretch.
That's not saying I don't like Jonathan's character.
I CRIED TOO OMG. Ngl a bit part of it is bc the actor reminds me so much of my boyfriend.
I'm in love 💞
Jonathan isn’t dead. Victoria lied about the skull once already.
Victoria was trying to break Siennas will.
We never seen him die.
Jonathan never finished his arc. He refused his call to action in this movie and sat it out. He will NEED to accept what he must do and come help Sienna
I’m so shocked so many people believe a main character is dead because a lying demon told you so… wild
I'm SURE the skull was the blonde podcaster in the shower.
Great review! Love your videos! Your gorgeous.
Actually I'm pretty sure she really was having schizophrenia. Remember she already had it in the second movie.
I felt they kind of stole from American Werewolf in London with the dead friend at the dinner table.
New Follow Fun Video
I really wish they had brought back the little pale girl.
With all respect, I think you misunderstood a lot of this movie...
😂
I got to see an early screening back on Thursday, this movie is nucking futs. 😂
Love it, I only have one complaint. They broke the tradition of a bonus video after the credits. After final battle credits should've rolled then the bus stop scene should've been after the credits.
You're adorable.
Ur so beautiful 🤩 😍😍😍
Got criticisms then…you aren’t the biggest fan 😂🤷♂️
it’s not that deep 😭😭😭
Really shocked how in 2024 peple pretend to fell in love with movies and protagonists out of pure, substanceless garbage. More than artificial.
Everyone's got different tastes in movies, depending on what life they've led, they'll resonate with different stories. What's your favourite movie? Cause I'm sure there's someone out there who thought it was overrated trash
@@Wiziliz "depending on what life they've led" lol time for the nature vs nurture portion of why some people are gorehounds. what you got, freud?
oh they aren't pretending, sweetie
do you have a twitter?
