I don't know what fever dream you dreamt up, Andy, but Octodad is a horror game about a regular dad being constantly hunted by a killer while just trying to live his life daily without any major incidences.
Yeah i don't recall anything unusual either. Also i got the opposite of the MGS4 trophy.. No alerts, rations, kills or deaths and under 5 hours on the boss extreme difficulty.. It was hard as balls, especially using non lethal in the bike chase and not letting the frog troopers fall from the walls to their deaths haha You can retry each section so don't need one perfect playthrough but still, that was 2007 and I'm still haunted by it
I definitely remember, I got "Bon Appetit" and "Next Time Swim Faster" within a minute of each other on M3. This being because I failed dumping a body in the swamp so hard I fell in myself.
In the FPS "Secret Service", you can get an achievement called "Expert Marksman" if you fire an entire magazine and don't hit anyone. To be fair, I got it when I was trying to get the achievement "No Body Cares" (where you destroy 20 statue busts in a couple levels), and there were a lot of busts lined up next to each other!
I always think of the Worst Day Shift Manager Ever achievement from Force Unleashed where you have to mercilessly kill 12 stormtroopers as Darth Vader. And bare in mind, the troopers spawn only 2 at a time every few minutes, meaning you have to really wait around and avoid playing the game to earn this achievement.
I feel like that achievement is a reference to that one TH-cam series where Darth Vader was a day manager at a store (sadly, said series seems to no longer exist on TH-cam, as I can no longer find it 😞 ) Edit: Wait, nevermind, I just found "Chad Vader: Day Shift Manager," so it does still exist 😃
One time my brother was playing heavy rain *Spoilers btw* and on his first playthrough he killed the drug dealer in his daughters room, He said "I don't wanna be reminded of that, i feel awful" The trophy "I'm a Killer" popping immediately afterwards made me laugh out loud tbh
The first time I played life is strange 2 I finished it super late at night and I was super tired and not thinking straight. I got the worst ending and cried so hard.

In Dead Cells there's a boss that you can skip by sacrificing a Mushroom Boi: a cute, tiny minion who enthusiasticly runs at your enemies to headbutt them. Doing so rewards you with the achievement "Bound for Hell" to let everyone know that you're a heartless bastard.
Monster Prom's "The Best At Failing" achievement for getting rejected by all 6 love interests. Comes with a fun little comment saying "maybe dating sims aren't your thing". Rubbing salt in the wound there.
The "You Win!" achievement from The Henry Stickmin Collection would definitely count, obtained by getting the fake ending in Infiltrating the Airship. While it is ultimately an utter shame, it is really funny the first time you get it.
There's also completing the mission where on one of the routes you have to escape a locked cell, and insisting on using the lockpick 6 times in a row despite the game telling you there is no lock will net you an achivement Breaking the bank also has one for using the jumble hoppers 3 times to get -6 points
AC Syndicate has one achievement called "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU", which you get for flipping five carriages by shooting the horses pulling them. And yes, the achievement actually is in all caps. Ubisoft clearly has VERY SUBTLE opinions about all that horse killing.
I heard about this one, apparently in chase scenes shooting the horse is the easy way to take out the enemies chasing you in a carriage... and counts for this.
About the "creep" achievement... I haven't played the game, but I love it when games have something that just keeps going that you can sit there and appreciate. I found what I saw of the dance to be well animated, and mesmerizing... Another example from a game I have played would be the musicians at village bridge in pokemon black and white. Sometimes I boot up the game just to listen to them for a while
One of my favorites has to be the ‘It was coming right at us’ from Titanfall 2, where you have to specifically time warp into a beasts cage to kill it.
In the outer worlds there's an achievement for messing up a trajectory and shooting a ship into the sun while you're on it during a story mission. "Yeah, you did that. You killed everyone. Now sit in the corner and think about what you did"

Now, if I recall, you are required to watch one of them for plot reasons (I think to identify one of the women for some reason), but I don’t think that’s enough to actually get the achievement.
Another achievement that'd fit this perfectly is from South Park: The Stick of Truth. The achievement's called Pervert and you get it by having your shrunken hero spend a full minute watching their parents having sex. Just stand around watching for a minute when you enter their bedroom, and the trophy's yours. This is the M-rated version of Shovel Knight's "Creep" feat.
In A Hat in Time one of the achievements is called false detective which is awarded for completing murder on the owl express without finding any clues, The description for this achievement even adds in a you suck for good measure.
The concept of being embarrassed by achievements doesn’t really work with achievement hunting being so popular. But I do enjoy the humor a lot of them employ.
Game: "If you do this obviously depraved and immoral thing you will get an achievement telling that you are a bastard" Players: "Hahaha so cool! Didn't know that! Starting a second playthrough just to get it."
Ya, I don't even do online multiplayer, so if it comes down to "being embarrassed" or "getting 100% and full gamerscore", I'm definitely going for the latter - obviously except for multiplayer achievements since, as stated, I don't do online multiplayer.

I know there is one great achievement in (at least) the PC version of Payday 2, simply titled "HOLY SHI-", in which you get drop kicked and downed by the Cloaker. It even has a sarcastic description line, in which the achievement simply says "You finally got what you were asking for!", in reference to how many people were begging for the Cloaker to be put back into Payday 2, as he wasn't originally in the game upon release. Some of the Cloaker's own voice lines are a nod to this too, such as "You wanted me back, so I'm back!"
I would lose my mind if Payday 2 (or 3?) had an achievement called something like "Sorry, that was me!" which pops if you alert enemies with a thrown grenade when otherwise undetected.
I love the “Run you pigeons, it’s Robert Frost!” Achievement from Grim Fandango Remastered. Earned by trying to solve the pigeon puzzle by squeezing a balloon shaped like the head of the poet Robert Frost
Fallout 4's "Touchdown". This achievement sounds like you need to do something impressive, but no, you have to get killed by a super mutant suicider. This achievement doesn't exactly pop because of the suicider, instead it only checks if you were killed by a mini nuke. This includes: shooting a mini nuke at your feet. Imagine goofing around with your fatman and this achievement pops up.
That…kinda happened to me. 👀 I defeated the Mirelurk Queen with a fatman while reclaiming The Castle, was super hyped. Got sneak-attacked by a Mirelurk Spawn and instinctively went to shoot it…without realising I hadn’t changed weapons. 😅
I got this achievement from the raiders at the Lexington billboard bridge. That mini nuke was a tiny bit shocking in my first and hundredth playthrough haha
Got that achievement when i started walking upstairs and didn't notice the super mutant on the top of stairs. Yep. Got the nuke right to face from that said super mutant.
I remember the original God of War had "Getting My Ass Kicked," which you got after you die enough times that the game itself asks if you want to continue at an easier difficulty.
Yeah, that Octodad one is unsurprisingly very easy to miss though. It was honestly one of the hardest trophies for me, having gone back on a trophy hunt after beating the game and discovering I liked it quite a bit. Trying to hang that goddamned birdhouse without getting stuck on it took me about 30 minutes. I wear that trophy with pride, not shame.
I'm not entirely sure how, but I somehow glitched the game into letting go of the birdhouse while trying to break the gnomes. Took a long time to learn that was a weird glitch, and not some sort of 'you took too long' failure condition.
In the party game "You Don't Know Jack" for the Xbox 360, there was an achievement called "Social Outcast". It involved playing 5 single player games on Friday or Saturday night. The game's host also comments on you playing alone on those nights. Just twisting the knife, and pouring salt in the wound...

In the remaster of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, there’s an achievement called “Not Your Proudest Moment”. This is awarded for managing to die in the overworld, which has no enemies.
In Pathfinder : Wrath of the Righteous, there's an early-game area called the Tower of Estrod with several stone pillars that can be collapsed on top of enemies. You get the Death by Column achievement for killing one of your own party members with one.
In RuneScape 3 there's an achievement for dashing into a wall. They have a dash ability called "surge" that basically teleports you up to 10 tiles ahead in an instant, but it'll stop at the first obstacle. The animation takes about the same time as the animation to run a single tile, so you generally want to surge for as far as possible since then you cover more tiles in the same amount of time. But if you dash in a direction in which there's only one unobstructed tile then you'll just "dash" a distance of a single tile at no faster than running speed, making the dash rather useless (and it'll be on cooldown again so you can't immediately retry). The game then mocks you by giving you an achievement called "I meant to do that..."
Almost 1 out of ever 4 Golden Axe players has the What are the buttons achievement. Either there's a lot of terrible players, they get it right at the start of a new game when they literally don't know the buttons, or they think it's funny and do it intentionally.
If/When you do a fan version, Factorio's "Watch Your Step" achievement. You literally build the trains, the tracks, the stops, then can't be bothered to stay off the very same tracks and get hit by your own locomotive.

In Rise of the Tomb Raider there's an achievement called "Was that really necessary?" You get it by killing an animal with an explosive. Gotta say, I do enjoy shooting gas cans to explode those wolf packs!
I couldn't help but laugh when I got that achievement on my first playthrough. I was low health and trying to go into the House of the Afflicted where you crawl under a wall and are immediately attacked by a crap ton of wolves and I wasn't expecting them since it was my first time going there so they quickly overwhelmed and killed me. I respawned and, now annoyed (the wolves in that game are the bane of my existence I swear to god), I waited for them to appear and just blew 'em to hell and back with explosive arrows. Hell yes that was necessary, game!
@@RivkahSong lmao I did it for a similar reason! I was killing human enemies when everything went sideways, and ended up in the center of a pack of wolves when I was trying to get back into stealth. I had to get my revenge after that!

There's one achievement in The Walking Dead Survival Instinct that says "You're doing it wrong". You get it for dying 13 times. And considering what a buggy mess that game is, getting that trophy is VERY easy, if you're stuck somewhere and always respawn at the same point you're stuck at.
I remember that F.E.A.R. had a couple achievements like this: Suicide King (killing your character five times), Vermin Badge (killing five crows or rats), and Afraid (getting a negative score in multiplayer). I remember that negative achievements were pretty new back then.
Fable 2's the hunter achievement. The game wants you to know you're a monster and asks how you sleep at night. Or there's the chicken kicker one which has a crying chicken as the icon.
In the spirit of the creep achievement there is also the one in Nier Automata with the voyeur attempt that even has the character hide from your camera.
So I got the “That Was a Close One” milestone on accident. I was replaying through the first level to collect the stuff I missed, had infinite ammo on, and was just burning through with the BFG and nothing else.
World of Warcraft has the achievement "Stood in the Fire", which is rewarded to any player who gets killed by the giant dragon Deathwing, which on the achievement's initial appearance, often included literally standing in fire.
I remember there was a beat-em-up on the 360 (a Double Dragon game, I think?) That gave you an achievement just for starting a new game... worth 12 gamerscore. Yes, twelve. And the caption was laughing at you and telling the player to finish what they start - the achievement for beating the final boss was worth 23 points to bring things back to a multiple of 5 again.
I had a moment of shock when the achievement "2 Points" in Half-Life 2 actually gave me only 2 points. Had to go look up how to find the one that balanced it out.
Makes me think about the achievement "Trinity Of Pain" from Hunt: Showdown. Only achieved by being on fire, poisoned, and bleeding all at the same time. You either have to do this intentionally OR be having a really bad time.
In Game Dev Tycoon there's a achievement called "Writers Block" Which simply says "Naming games is hard." It requires you to sit at the name game screen for a solid minute without typing a single letter....The problem is literally ANYTHING will count as a good enough title for the game according to the ratings. There is an achievement/trophy for getting killed by Slaughterfish in Elder Scrolls Online. You get it by swimming in places you arent supposed to be swimming, or swimming too far out from land.
The sims 4's achievements per savefile has an achievement called "Till death do us apart" for letting your sim die at their own wedding. No one can see those and you actually have to try for this one, just so the game can remind you that you're an a-hole whenever you play that savefile again. You can get it either before or after exchanging vows, it's only important that it's during the wedding event.
In slime rancher, there is an achievement you can get when you shoot a chickadoo into an incinerator. It is aptly named, "You Monster". Not exactly sarcastic, but it sure does make you feel bad.
Beautiful indie game "Ittle Dew" has one called "Masterfully Executed Failure", which triggers when you teleport a projectile axe thrown at you but still manage to let it hit you
Theres an achievement in plants vs zombies garden warfare 2 called 'Time to go outside' awarded for promoting a single character to master rank, the highest character rank in the game.
Kinda surprised you went with the Shovel Knight's "Creep" achievement instead of something like Yakuza 0's "...I Did It for the Trophy" for the kind of thing that'd compel you to plat.
To be fair, those sexy videos fully recharge your Heat for a measly ¥800, and if you're playing as Majima, is part of a substory. Plus, there's completion points to be had for watching a number of different clips (my fave so far has to be Reika). In short: it's cheap, it doesn't waste items, and you get those all-important completion points.
In OneShot, you sometimes combine items in your inventory to make thigns to solve puzzles. When stuck or confused about what to do next in these kind of games, the first thing most people do is try to combine everything with everything else. If you try and combine a metal pole with the sun (a light bulb) Niko says they're not going to destroy the sun, and you get the Chaotic Evil achievement >_>;
It's a subtle one, but Factorio has an achievement for being killed by a train called "watch your step". In a game mostly devoid of humour, and after the jump-scare of a nuclear-powered train blazing into your field of view, it can be absolutely hilarious.
There’s a part in A Hat in Time where you can enter in words to answer a detective’s questions on a murder mystery level. Typing in anything naughty in relation to human anatomy, or a particularly bad cuss word, gives you the achievement “why?” Then you go on to have the character repeat your answer back to you and hear it repeatedly being referenced in the background for the rest of the level.
There's an achievement you get in CoD Ghost called "Clueless" and to get it, you have to get 100 kills on the akimbo revolvers with the scope attachment on.
Just the first two really. "The first one's free!" - Press a button to stand up "...The second one's also free" - Get the previous achievement. FFS, game. When Deadpool calls out how easy they're to get, I just feel insulted.

Surprised (especially for this channel) that Kingdoms of Amalur didn't make the list. The trophy you get for jumping off the floating city of Idylla fits right in. I made it the last one I did before I stopped playing and, well, "I Regret Nothing."
I think I got that one once, but it was because I was fast traveling to the SBQ fight, and anyone who plays 76 knows how inexact fast travel can be. The place I was aiming for wasn't inside the blast zone, but where I appeared was.

The Ninja Gaiden 2 achievement, Indomitable Spirit, requires you to hit "Continue" (die) 100 times. At least they give you a respectable name for it. Earned it on the final boss.

My favorite “feels bad” achievement is from Gunpoint. If you pin a guard down and punch them in the face over and over again, the game will ask if you’ll stop for an achievement. That’s how you get the “Alright, Have One. Just Stop!” Achievement.
Two of my favourite insulting achievements are: Army of Two - complete the game on expert difficulty, you get "Look Mom, I made it!" Chorus - dying in no respawn mode, you get "At least you tried" especially insulting because there is no achievement for actually completing the game on no respawn mode 🤣

About the "creep" achievement... I haven't played the game, but I love it when games have something that just keeps going that you can sit there and appreciate. I found what I saw of the dance to be well animated, and mesmerizing... Another example from a game I have played would be the musicians at village bridge in pokemon black and white. Sometimes I boot up the game just to listen to them for a while
I loved the singers in AC: Syndicate for the same reason! Got me into victorian nusic hall as a genre lol
One of my favorites has to be the ‘It was coming right at us’ from Titanfall 2, where you have to specifically time warp into a beasts cage to kill it.
In the outer worlds there's an achievement for messing up a trajectory and shooting a ship into the sun while you're on it during a story mission. "Yeah, you did that. You killed everyone. Now sit in the corner and think about what you did"
Nothing like doing perfect scores for every single level of Hotline Miami 2 and getting this achievement:

As PriffyViole says, it’s for watching adult videos. It was mentioned in an earlier OX video about embarrassing achievements.
Now, if I recall, you are required to watch one of them for plot reasons (I think to identify one of the women for some reason), but I don’t think that’s enough to actually get the achievement.
The roguelike "Barony" has the "Boneheaded" achievement for attempting to eat food as a skeleton, who are unable to eat.
Another achievement that'd fit this perfectly is from South Park: The Stick of Truth. The achievement's called Pervert and you get it by having your shrunken hero spend a full minute watching their parents having sex. Just stand around watching for a minute when you enter their bedroom, and the trophy's yours. This is the M-rated version of Shovel Knight's "Creep" feat.
In A Hat in Time one of the achievements is called false detective which is awarded for completing murder on the owl express without finding any clues, The description for this achievement even adds in a you suck for good measure.
They also have an achievement called "Why" which you get by typing a naughty word in any of the text input prompts.

I’m (mostly) the same, but I’ll be honest: If I already own a game for the single-player, and it has an achievement for sucking in online multiplayer, I _will_ make an exception just because the idea amuses me.
I know there is one great achievement in (at least) the PC version of Payday 2, simply titled "HOLY SHI-", in which you get drop kicked and downed by the Cloaker. It even has a sarcastic description line, in which the achievement simply says "You finally got what you were asking for!", in reference to how many people were begging for the Cloaker to be put back into Payday 2, as he wasn't originally in the game upon release. Some of the Cloaker's own voice lines are a nod to this too, such as "You wanted me back, so I'm back!"
And don't forget the iconic "now go to the forums" line

I would lose my mind if Payday 2 (or 3?) had an achievement called something like "Sorry, that was me!" which pops if you alert enemies with a thrown grenade when otherwise undetected.
I love the “Run you pigeons, it’s Robert Frost!” Achievement from Grim Fandango Remastered. Earned by trying to solve the pigeon puzzle by squeezing a balloon shaped like the head of the poet Robert Frost
Fallout 4's "Touchdown". This achievement sounds like you need to do something impressive, but no, you have to get killed by a super mutant suicider. This achievement doesn't exactly pop because of the suicider, instead it only checks if you were killed by a mini nuke. This includes: shooting a mini nuke at your feet. Imagine goofing around with your fatman and this achievement pops up.

I defeated the Mirelurk Queen with a fatman while reclaiming The Castle, was super hyped. Got sneak-attacked by a Mirelurk Spawn and instinctively went to shoot it…without realising I hadn’t changed weapons. 😅
I got this achievement from the raiders at the Lexington billboard bridge. That mini nuke was a tiny bit shocking in my first and hundredth playthrough haha

Got that achievement when i started walking upstairs and didn't notice the super mutant on the top of stairs. Yep. Got the nuke right to face from that said super mutant.
XMen Destiny has an achievement called "Can I Get A Valkyrie". You unlock it by dying 100 times, which is much harder than it sounds in that game
I remember the original God of War had "Getting My Ass Kicked," which you got after you die enough times that the game itself asks if you want to continue at an easier difficulty.

Yeah, that Octodad one is unsurprisingly very easy to miss though. It was honestly one of the hardest trophies for me, having gone back on a trophy hunt after beating the game and discovering I liked it quite a bit. Trying to hang that goddamned birdhouse without getting stuck on it took me about 30 minutes. I wear that trophy with pride, not shame.
I tried so hard but never got it! I swear, when I get my old laptop back up and running, I will finally get it.
I'm not entirely sure how, but I somehow glitched the game into letting go of the birdhouse while trying to break the gnomes. Took a long time to learn that was a weird glitch, and not some sort of 'you took too long' failure condition.
In the party game "You Don't Know Jack" for the Xbox 360, there was an achievement called "Social Outcast". It involved playing 5 single player games on Friday or Saturday night. The game's host also comments on you playing alone on those nights. Just twisting the knife, and pouring salt in the wound...

In the remaster of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, there’s an achievement called “Not Your Proudest Moment”. This is awarded for managing to die in the overworld, which has no enemies.
In Pathfinder : Wrath of the Righteous, there's an early-game area called the Tower of Estrod with several stone pillars that can be collapsed on top of enemies. You get the Death by Column achievement for killing one of your own party members with one.

In RuneScape 3 there's an achievement for dashing into a wall.
They have a dash ability called "surge" that basically teleports you up to 10 tiles ahead in an instant, but it'll stop at the first obstacle. The animation takes about the same time as the animation to run a single tile, so you generally want to surge for as far as possible since then you cover more tiles in the same amount of time. But if you dash in a direction in which there's only one unobstructed tile then you'll just "dash" a distance of a single tile at no faster than running speed, making the dash rather useless (and it'll be on cooldown again so you can't immediately retry). The game then mocks you by giving you an achievement called "I meant to do that..."
Almost 1 out of ever 4 Golden Axe players has the What are the buttons achievement. Either there's a lot of terrible players, they get it right at the start of a new game when they literally don't know the buttons, or they think it's funny and do it intentionally.
Or trophy hunters doing it for the trophy.

If/When you do a fan version, Factorio's "Watch Your Step" achievement. You literally build the trains, the tracks, the stops, then can't be bothered to stay off the very same tracks and get hit by your own locomotive.
Trains are the most dangerous enemy in the game.
You either have a supernatural ability to keep track of all your trains or the devil's luck if you haven't been run over at least once.

I couldn't help but laugh when I got that achievement on my first playthrough. I was low health and trying to go into the House of the Afflicted where you crawl under a wall and are immediately attacked by a crap ton of wolves and I wasn't expecting them since it was my first time going there so they quickly overwhelmed and killed me. I respawned and, now annoyed (the wolves in that game are the bane of my existence I swear to god), I waited for them to appear and just blew 'em to hell and back with explosive arrows. Hell yes that was necessary, game!
@@RivkahSong lmao I did it for a similar reason! I was killing human enemies when everything went sideways, and ended up in the center of a pack of wolves when I was trying to get back into stealth. I had to get my revenge after that!

There's one achievement in The Walking Dead Survival Instinct that says "You're doing it wrong". You get it for dying 13 times. And considering what a buggy mess that game is, getting that trophy is VERY easy, if you're stuck somewhere and always respawn at the same point you're stuck at.
I remember that F.E.A.R. had a couple achievements like this: Suicide King (killing your character five times), Vermin Badge (killing five crows or rats), and Afraid (getting a negative score in multiplayer). I remember that negative achievements were pretty new back then.
Fable 2's the hunter achievement. The game wants you to know you're a monster and asks how you sleep at night. Or there's the chicken kicker one which has a crying chicken as the icon.
In the spirit of the creep achievement there is also the one in Nier Automata with the voyeur attempt that even has the character hide from your camera.
Also a similar achievement in Lollipop Chainsaw in attempting upskirt, if I remember.

So I got the “That Was a Close One” milestone on accident. I was replaying through the first level to collect the stuff I missed, had infinite ammo on, and was just burning through with the BFG and nothing else.
World of Warcraft has the achievement "Stood in the Fire", which is rewarded to any player who gets killed by the giant dragon Deathwing, which on the achievement's initial appearance, often included literally standing in fire.
I remember there was a beat-em-up on the 360 (a Double Dragon game, I think?) That gave you an achievement just for starting a new game... worth 12 gamerscore. Yes, twelve. And the caption was laughing at you and telling the player to finish what they start - the achievement for beating the final boss was worth 23 points to bring things back to a multiple of 5 again.
I had a moment of shock when the achievement "2 Points" in Half-Life 2 actually gave me only 2 points. Had to go look up how to find the one that balanced it out.
There’s an achievement in Unreal Tournament 3 called Get A Life, which you get for killing 200 people online on 50 separate days.

Makes me think about the achievement "Trinity Of Pain" from Hunt: Showdown. Only achieved by being on fire, poisoned, and bleeding all at the same time. You either have to do this intentionally OR be having a really bad time.

In Game Dev Tycoon there's a achievement called "Writers Block" Which simply says "Naming games is hard."
It requires you to sit at the name game screen for a solid minute without typing a single letter....The problem is literally ANYTHING will count as a good enough title for the game according to the ratings. Wasteland 2 has an achievement for killing your own teammate with friendly fire called "Oops". My favourite by far.
I remember getting that “ go get some sun” achievement. I was surprised at the time that I got no gamer score. All that for nothing. At least I had a gold clan tag for getting prestige edition lol.
I remember having a good laugh on golden axe when the "what are the buttons" trophy popped up. I hit the magic button first thing when I started the game.
There is an achievement/trophy for getting killed by Slaughterfish in Elder Scrolls Online. You get it by swimming in places you arent supposed to be swimming, or swimming too far out from land.
The sims 4's achievements per savefile has an achievement called "Till death do us apart" for letting your sim die at their own wedding. No one can see those and you actually have to try for this one, just so the game can remind you that you're an a-hole whenever you play that savefile again.
You can get it either before or after exchanging vows, it's only important that it's during the wedding event.
Life itself is a sarcastic achievement that makes you feel ashamed for existing.

In slime rancher, there is an achievement you can get when you shoot a chickadoo into an incinerator. It is aptly named, "You Monster". Not exactly sarcastic, but it sure does make you feel bad.
Beautiful indie game "Ittle Dew" has one called "Masterfully Executed Failure", which triggers when you teleport a projectile axe thrown at you but still manage to let it hit you

There's another Doom Eternal one for punching a Slayer Gate - aka trying to open it without a key.
Kinda surprised you went with the Shovel Knight's "Creep" achievement instead of something like Yakuza 0's "...I Did It for the Trophy" for the kind of thing that'd compel you to plat.
To be fair, those sexy videos fully recharge your Heat for a measly ¥800, and if you're playing as Majima, is part of a substory. Plus, there's completion points to be had for watching a number of different clips (my fave so far has to be Reika). In short: it's cheap, it doesn't waste items, and you get those all-important completion points.

In OneShot, you sometimes combine items in your inventory to make thigns to solve puzzles. When stuck or confused about what to do next in these kind of games, the first thing most people do is try to combine everything with everything else. If you try and combine a metal pole with the sun (a light bulb) Niko says they're not going to destroy the sun, and you get the Chaotic Evil achievement >_>;
Shovel Knight giving new meaning to the phrase “dance like nobody is watching” lol
It's a subtle one, but Factorio has an achievement for being killed by a train called "watch your step". In a game mostly devoid of humour, and after the jump-scare of a nuclear-powered train blazing into your field of view, it can be absolutely hilarious.
There’s a part in A Hat in Time where you can enter in words to answer a detective’s questions on a murder mystery level. Typing in anything naughty in relation to human anatomy, or a particularly bad cuss word, gives you the achievement “why?”
Then you go on to have the character repeat your answer back to you and hear it repeatedly being referenced in the background for the rest of the level.
There's an achievement you get in CoD Ghost called "Clueless" and to get it, you have to get 100 kills on the akimbo revolvers with the scope attachment on.
I feel like the entire Deadpool game would fit in this category

There was this achievement in "Phoenix Wright: ace attorney trilogy" called "Please, Turn in your badge" where you fail when asked the name of the defendant in the tutorial case (Choosing "Mia fey" instead of "Larry Butz")
Doom Eternal also has an achievement for when you fruitlessly try to open a Slayer Gate by punching it instead of using a key: "Ow".
In super time force, the highest achievement you can get is called “now it’s TIME to go outside”. Gee thanks general!

There’s an achievement in fallout 76 for being the ground zero for a nuclear strike.
I think I got that one once, but it was because I was fast traveling to the SBQ fight, and anyone who plays 76 knows how inexact fast travel can be. The place I was aiming for wasn't inside the blast zone, but where I appeared was.
I'm surprised you guys didn't include the one from FEAR, in which you get an achievement if you blow yourself up with a grenade. I remember actively going "OH COME ON" to that one
The OctoDad game I played was a sim game about a normal dad doing normal dad stuff. I dunno what version Andy's talking about, maybe there was a sequel or expansion than I never got around to or something?

The Ninja Gaiden 2 achievement, Indomitable Spirit, requires you to hit "Continue" (die) 100 times. At least they give you a respectable name for it. Earned it on the final boss.

My favorite “feels bad” achievement is from Gunpoint. If you pin a guard down and punch them in the face over and over again, the game will ask if you’ll stop for an achievement. That’s how you get the “Alright, Have One. Just Stop!” Achievement.
Two of my favourite insulting achievements are:
Army of Two - complete the game on expert difficulty, you get "Look Mom, I made it!"
Chorus - dying in no respawn mode, you get "At least you tried" especially insulting because there is no achievement for actually completing the game on no respawn mode 🤣
