A quick tip from an old trials rider. If you loosen the clutch and front brake clamps a little it will help in two ways. First, if you come off, the levers will be able to rotate around the bars instead of bending or breaking. Second, when you ride standing up on the pegs, you can push the levers down slightly to keep your wrists straighter and your hands at a more natural angle to the levers. :)
It may be fun but surely not the safest to dive into all these puddles! One day you will end up in one that is way deeper, or different than you thought. Enjoy your rides and be safe.
A great video. Many people who start off road buy something too big or too powerful. The lighter the better always. I've been riding for 33 years and find light enduro bikes are always the best, what ever your experience. People use heavier adventure bikes as they need longer distance covered in less time. Otherwise they would prefer lighter bikes. Ever seen 'Romaniacs' ? All light 250~350 enduro bikes.
Excellent video Marek I have also done this trail and the top section can be very tricky so well done if you had gone straight across in stead of turning right you will find another trail that leads to holmfirth Good to see the crf300l easily copes with the Yorkshire trails Cheers Phil
Great review Marek , my 300l is also a diamond mate , I would love to do some tracking around the peak district , perhaps we could meet up one day and have a couple of beers .
Lovely video Marek we are really enjoying them! Loving the BEAST LEVELS LOL!!!. My husband has just ordered a crf300l and we wondered how much the total cost of importing your rack was from bikerzbits. We aren't too far from you just near Chesterfield. Kind regards Clare and Andy :-)
Hi Clare and Andy. I am glad you like it ☺️ The bikerbitz was 98gbp and it was rack, tail tidy and DHL transport. It's worth it. And it came in 4 days from order... Super fast service.
@@marekonbike9291 thanks for your quick reply I think I will get one ordered, hopefully getting the bike mid-March so we are excited! Looking forward to your next instalment Cheers
@@ridingwithmrP I believe the people I met walking did smile and greet back, so they did not mind. Everyone to its own what makes them happy...and healthy! I am with you, one think is physical, other is mental sanity... excercising both is important. 😆
@@marekonbike9291 If you add one or two more teeth to the rear sprocket the acceleration will be faster. And the low gears will be lower for more low speed control. The only thing you lose is a bit of top end speed and your speedometer is off a little bit
I'd buy it, the Crf-300 l, but I have mates who make me doubt it because they tell me to buy a bike at least 600cc. And of course I'm a mess, because I'd like to replace my current 125cc 4-course dualsport bike. I don't know what to do?
Don't give to your mates. Make what feels right for you. I vent to 650 from start and was heavy, bulky... I just feel better on this. The power is quite OK. If you can try to test drive some 650 and test drive 250/300 and you will know what feels better for you. If you do some offroad, then smaller/leighter = more manageable...
Facemask, helmet, distancing, 15minutes from home. Well for me it is excercising. You have physical and mental part to it. Tell it to the people sitting on benches outside in front of takeaways eating less than 2m apart with bare hands and without masks. Go to London, Manchester, any city and see yourself. I am lone guy here.

Thanks for the tip, will test it. 👍
see bikers and Sevillians can live together in harmony good job buddy
Yes, need to keep everone happy so we can all go to the trails :)
Well done! That was an enjoyable video of a great ride in beautiful countryside. Interesting commentary too. 👍
Thanks Sir ☺️

I know every puddle is unique and can have supprises. Hope not bad ones 😉
Excellent video- I am also new to trails- just sold ktm 790 r. - too heavy for my experience - Honda 300 coming soon -
Enjoy!
Great. I have done most of the route on my crf250l. 👍🏻
Yeah, it's a nice road. How did you like the "puddle" :)

Yes have been watching Romanians, Attention deficit and many more (too many maybe 😂) but love this small bike format. Suits me more.

Thanks Phill, will definitely explore more. And yes the CRF300L in stock is really capable.
Great video, looks like fun!
Yes it was funny. The small bike encourages to explore :)
@@marekonbike9291 Glad to see yours does not suffer from overheating or rattle noise as some other owners (few) reported
Enjoy
Thx 🙏
I'll get one too! I live in Spain and the mountains are not far from my home Off-road / adventure paradise here, but not muddy
Great for you. Will definitely visit Spain at some point.
🤣 has comprado la Crf 300l?? Me interesaría tu opinión.
Beautiful view. Perfect bike for exploration.
It really is! Thanksk for watching.
Great vid Marek. Merci monsieur.

Yes, they are great bikes. For the ride and beer? Sign me in!! ,,,😁
count me in aswell! I'm near the peaks and have a crf250l
Marsden, Diggle and Greenfield looks like a nice ride area 👍
Yes it is. Lots to explore here.
Great vid. That wasn’t a puddle, it was a lake 🤣
Yes it was substantial :)

Thanks for your movie 😉 really is it a good bike or not ?
I love it 💖. For me it is great bike.
I'm curious if this bike is up to the level of the Klx300.... The suspension is just night and day.
In suspension and power KLX wins I believe...
Essential exercise ?
Gets your Hart running at times so I say yes. Mental excercize counts too :)

Would a rear sprocket with 1 or 2 more teeth make it even better in the rough stuff?
Maybe, but the acceleration in city would suffer. Already now the gears are quite short.

Not so smart to show yourself riding recreationally, with date, time and place during a National Lockdown. All other bikers are waiting for 29th March
