Hi Ben, Eventually you would think that it will fruit. Either with your help or on its own. I grew up on the western side of Sydney and you will find that most people there have been growing and harvesting the fruit we are trying to grow for years. Every second house could easily have their very own TH-cam channel. Good luck.
Thanks! This is the second time for the larger tree, it skipped last year and had a few flowers year before that. The smaller one it is its first time. We had such a warm winter this year they were in good shape at the end, which I think contributed to more flowers.
Yes I had a cherimoya at the old place, I think I may have even broken off one of the hanging petals(?) to allow better access for pollination. But very hard for the natural pollinators to get in there.
Hey, just got back from holidays. Looks like 4 fruitlets have held on, 2 on each tree. But many more flowers still coming. Issue will be how big they can get before winter and cool temps hit…how did yours go?
@@RealLifeFruitopianice, ants might do the work for you. I just threw a video up, you can see they are still very small but they’ve stayed on for 3 weeks now.
Good luck with the pollination Ben 👍🏻
Very helpful video. THANK YOU
Nice man my Rollinia in Jamaica flowering. Thanks for this video man. Bless
glad you enjoyed it, thank you!!! Hope you get some fruit on your rollinia

Yes there are some very interesting gardens in some suburbs. Probably all kinds of interesting heritage varieties of fruits too!
Nice one hopefully you get a fruit. I’ve been hand pollinating my soursop flowers and 0 fruit set from like 40 flowers. Maybe it’s self sterile
I hope not for your sake! Hope it sets for you soon. Could it still be just too young?
Great vid! How many years has yours been flowering? I’ve been trying to hand pollinate but no luck yet, first time flowering though.

They thankfully look a bit easier to hand pollinate Ben than cherimoya where the female stage of flower stays tightly closed lol.

Any luck yet Ben? I filmed my tree today, video soon.

@@sydneyfruitgardening That's cool! Mine are just hanging as they do, I'm not interfering this year.

Can you try to pollen with Aiminaa triloba? just a try its not the same Gener But are in the same family and have high chance to create hybrid
How to collect the pollen,Sir? Thx.❤
Get a small container and hold it under neath the flower and tap the flower. Pollen collects in the container. Can store in the fridge for a few days.
Thx again,Sir❤
