Easily one of the highlights of the old Disney Channel for me.
and so I JUST discovered today that Rose was voiced by the same VA who voiced Katara... my mind is blown because of this piece of development, especially since it's essentially allowing Zutara shippers to have their dream ship in a different world.
I remember the episode where Jake was going through that whole moulting cycle and was avoiding Rose, because he was afraid she would be disgusted by it. In the end he got the balls to show her and she told him she likes him for who he is, not his outside appearance. Sooo wholesome

As for the height difference, usually but not all the time girls in that middle school age are taller than the boys because boys haven’t hit puberty yet. That’s what happened to me and the other girls. A lot of us were taller the boys in elementary school and when we went to middle school (that combined two of the towns instead of one town back in elementary) we were still taller than them from our town but something in high school is when they became taller.

It's about 1.1 - a titular protagonist named Jake / Danny / Eren 1.2 - who is a male teenager with superpowers of a dragon / ghost / titan 1.3 - who fights dragons / ghosts / titans 1.4 - and time travels. 1.5 - They got their power from their parents. 1.6 - There's a hot female antagonist, but the main antagonist of the series turns out to be themselves. (Look up 'yrowua'. The Dark Dragon is either theorised to be Jake's dad or supposedly Jake from an alternate future.) They have 2.1 - a male best friend who gets powers in 1 episode, 2.2 - a female best friend who strangely doesn't really have female friends 2.3 - a sister & 2.4 - a relative who has similar superpowers and is their superpowered mentor.
