It's so great how their relationship developed from shallow school crush to such a strong, unconditional love. I mean Jake fell for her first as a beautiful classmate without knowing her well and then after all they've been through he loved her more than his own life and was ready to sacrifice everything to make her happy. Although her reunion in the last episode felt somehow rushed, it felt right that she came back to Jake, I couldn't imagine final episode without her especially after everything she sacrificed for Jake. Her love and loyalty for him just made her his perfect match foverever, she loved him in every posibble way. Their story was written beautifully, to me it's one of the best written cartoon romances ever.
Jake & Rose’s love story is definitely what made this show so good & memorable 💕 their strong relationship overpowered their destiny as enemies & I’m glad they still ended up together in the final episode 💕
If there should ever be a season 3, it should end with Jake making a heroic sacrifice and a crying Rose holding his hand. He would say in a meaningful echo, 'it's okay....just let go......I'll be fine'. He survives and wakes up surrounded by his family, with Rose still holding his hand and they kiss.
