Being the good friend she is, Vanessa offers to take Ferb out somewhere I dunno, man. I don't have all the ideas worked out yet.

The most unbelivable part of the show is that Vanessa is only three to four years older then Ferb.
To be fair, when you're a preteen or a teenager a 4 year age gap really seems (and is) very physically obvious.
