It’s cool that the owner of company actually plays trumpet. I just bought my second Kanstul trumpet, a Kanstul 1000. My other Kanstul is a 700. Also own two Besson made Kanstul trumpets. A Kanstul Flugelhorn will be next. Kanstul is the best.

I just got this horn in a brushed finish,. Warm and buttery sound in low register with steady air. When you step on the gas, it will spit fire and peel paint! The response is immediate and notes above high C slot easily. The instrument is both resonant and well in tune if paired with a mouthpiece with the correct gap. I love my Stomvi Mouthpiece as it has different couplers allowing you to change the mouthpiece gap. I also like playing the Stomvi S3 Big Bell trumpet too. For the Stomvi, the 3.5 coupler is the best for me, With the Kanstul 1500, the 4 coupler is better in tune and most resonant.

My go to trumpet is an LA Olds Recording, this may be a worthy replacement.

Those Olds horns are pretty awesome...even the Ambassadors.

You are correct. It is a brass seamed bell. Mistake not caught before posting. Company is in transition. We will see what happens.

It is even richer in sound as it has a 100% sheet copper handhammered bell.

Раструб красивый, красный металл, должен звучать тембристо, а звучит зурна, что за звук!

I'm a little confused. is the wire brass or copper? I just got a kanstul 1510 C trumpet with the copper bell for my classical work. It has such a great tone. I also have the kanstul 1502 B flat for my jazz work. I love them both so much. I use both of them in my church worship team as well. They both sing and come alive when playing with other musicians, but also sound great solo in your room. I'm a kanstul fan for sure. I live less than 25 miles from the factory where they're made. I've gone on 2 tours of the factory, and met Jack. he's super friendly, and always willing to spend time with you to ensure you're happy with your equipment. thanks Kanstul.

Messed up when explaining. It is seamed with a brass wire for bell integrity.
