I haven't linked the LE and XB1 versions as usual because I ran out of space in the description box! Where there are LE and XB1 versions of the mods showcased, I've indicated this next to the mod name in the description. Anyway, hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching
Great video. Only way it could have been better is if the vanilla examples were side by side the modded ones instead of seperate clips. Would make highlighting the differences so much more extreme. Great mod selections
Omg... that sitting animation is *everything.* I keep forgetting how pleasant it is to just sit back and watch your ever-tortured mc enjoy themselves for a minute.
I've used and love the Leviathan and Vanagarnd animation packs. The only thing I find too goofy is the sprinting - it bounces vertically way too much and looks too yippy-dee-doo, happy teletubby running around Skyrim.
Some mods will allow you to overlay idle animations on top of each other. When you travel with a squad and stop abruptly, synchronous movements begin. And so you can download mods from many authors, superimpose on each other and then each satellite will have an individual rack.
The only mod I've ever really been jealous of is that paraglider mod. I'm on Xbox one x, and that just seems like it really would fit the feel and tone of Skyrim.
@@2solo._ja207 console movement will never be as smooth as pc, just too many limitations. Things look significantly better, but it still has some of that stiff and janky feel with movement
IMO the greatsword blocks should be with the hand behind the flat of the blade or there's no apparent strength to the act of blocking, but these are all really well done thanks for showcasing them. :)
For first person animations I'd recommend simply getting stop on slash, the modded animations lack any camera movement and they look awkward af when you're swinging at the air
After installing Sky Idles or Sexy Random Idles the Idles for my character pretty much stopped playing. They work great for everyone else though and I've been to lazy to troubleshoot it. DAR and Nemesis have been great
what are the animations used for that idol for dual wielding? trying to get rid of that dumb vanilla stance and also change the running animation stance as well.
The latest mod is cool. I will not say that he is not a canon... But if someone has problems with downloads and shipments, then this mod will help you move quickly and painlessly and the game will not crash so that I recommend everyone to install.
Grass FPS booster is also pretty nice for enabling you to increase your grass density without losing performance. Also No Grass In Objects is good if you wanna look into having grass LOD. I use Folkvangr and i think Origins of the Forest
I really like how skyrim looks in third person but I found it difficult to play. I’ve always been a first person self kinda guy though. Do you recommend 3rd person? I would love to see more first person mods that would be awesome.
I tend to alternate between third and first person. There are some good first person mods - Random First Person Magic Animation, First Person Combat Animations Overhaul and Immersive First Person View are all worth checking out
Thanks, no requirement to download these mods in any order, just remember that if a mod conflicts with another you have installed, the one lowest on the left screen of MO2 will win. Most of these mods don't have an esp. so you don't have to worry about plugin load order on the right side of MO2. I think some do have dependencies though, so make sure you have the required mods installed (DAR etc) to make them work properly. Hope this helps
I don't know, but I DO find it odd that these graphics are equal to the new Harry Potter game, yet the HP game requires 32gb because it's "an open world game". I mean, I know they just leave new games incredibly unoptimized/lie and say you need a better rig than you actually do to encourage the uninformed to buy a new computer to run it, but why does noone else notice. Well maybe they do and their comments are removed.
I’m about to buy my first gaming laptop, and I had been writting down all the mods that I like to add in my playthrough. All those iddle mods that you cased, also affects NPCs?
Is this whiterun forest mod you use with a certain tree mod like taken down Jedi Trees or some else? I like blubbo’s trees really much sadly he doesn’t public all the amazing stuff he creates but at least a few. Thanks for the showcase - are these awesome animations compatible with CGO, potion drink animations, conditional isles etc? I guess
I'm using a combination of cg4 trees, enhanced vanilla trees and aspens ablaze (with a few tweaks) - all available on Nexus. Most of the mods showcased should play OK with potion drink animations and conditional idles (apart from sky idles) but there will be conflicts with CGO
Simple Dual Sheathe isn't working for me on the Nexus because the mod author hasn't provided an option to switch to AE version in Vortex, so the game keeps trying to load it as SE and ends up not loading it as a result.
Ik this vid has nothing to do what im asking but Can anyone tell me where to fine the blade lost to time severence its said can be found in cualcemo museum but i dont see them
Only very few are better than vanilla in my opinion. The first person combat animations doesn't even remotely look as good as vanilla, partly because someone decided to completely disable character head movement when you attack - which was a horible idea. Is it optional? If so, then ok. Another bad thing about animations - they are way too fast, like all weapons doesn't weight a thing, not enough inertia. Some animations looks very clunky and not smooth enough. Especially dagger animation when they are trying to recreate fast double-triple hits. Modded battleaxe have a lot of clipping issues with the camera and same goes with warhammer - both looks horrible. With Katana i have some strange feeling that it's floating in air or something, and some animations sorta.. teleporting? Very odd. Some iddles are hit, and some miss. Some spints and sneak movements are ok, some mediocre, and some.. pure comedy at best 12:40 or 17:27. Animations for sitting are all good. Mage cast animations are good, if you play in third person, they are not so good when you playing in first person. I learned it the hard way. I appreciate the work and effort that modding community putting into this, and i just giving some commentary on a result to see something better in a future.
1st person combat animation didnt move camera makes it looks unnatural, most of the modded walk/run looks like robot, prever vanilla on that part, although theres other mod that looks more realistic

unfortunately, the limitations of console modding prevent dual sheath from being a reality.
I know :'(
Very well-done review, Thank You.

May I ask what armor mods you are using? Your characters are looking snazzy!

It's from Armor and Clothing Extension
almost everything using DAR but DAR haven't updated to latest skyrim SE 1.6.342 or AE
