That shot at 1:03 with the Fellowship on the move always made me laugh; it's basically Legolas outrunning everyone like he's making off with something and they're all like: "Legolas, get back here!!"
I spent my entire teenage years playing this, i didnt have a computer before that so this was one of my first games and its dear to my heart. So sad EA only cares about profits and shut the servers
I think doing this for a story was a much better decision than the first game. The first game really had to force scenario's that didn't make sense to have a strategy game follow the plot of an adventure story.
Shadow of Mordor and shadow of war were actually very fun games. They don’t hold a candle to games like this, as these were a staple and some of the greatest games ever to be made. Still, SoW and SoM were actually very enjoyable once you got into it.

Imagine a committed TV series or movie series that focused on the war in the north, showing the critical battles of Lorien, Mirkwood, Dale, & Erebor.

Maybe he act as a scout to see if there any enemies ahead them and he will give his team a heads up warning.

You can still play the game. Especially when there're tons of ods that improve the game. The best mods being Edain mod and Age of the Ring

Yeah because a lot of these events seem to be original or based on an obscure reference during the War of the Ring.
