Hi, hoping you can give advice.
vauxhall vivaro 2003 clutch pedal stuck to the floor(good the day before)
I have changed the clutch cylinder today, no leaking etc.
I let it ‘self bleed’ and now trying to bleed it normally with the nipple. have been trying for ages but nothing is changing, just sticking to the floor.
Any suggestions to check or buy?

Thank you for commenting. First thing I'd do is to get a piece of pipe on the end of the bleed nipple and run it back to the brake fluid tank and pump clutch peadle till all air is out. Then you have to pump clutch pedal a few times till it starts to feel firm or slight resistance once you get that keep pumping clutch till its firms up. If continuing to not bleed up check to see if fluid is dripping out the gearbox between engine and transmission if so you could well have a bad slave. That will require transmission off to repair. These vans can be an absolute nightmare at times. If you get stuck your welcome to email me directly or leave another comment thanks for watching

So what prompted you changing it? My pedal needs pumping up all the time now? Is it the master ? Is this why you changed it?

If you remove panel near clutch pedal and use a light to see up there it must be 100% dry if you see any droplets it's the master starting to leak

Great videos'... but, I still don't understand how you're bleeding the clutch system as you seem to say that by pushing the clutch peddle this will force the fluid into the reservoir?? This would overflow it??? I have bled many brakes systems'... never a clutch. Any further tips? I have 'subscribed.' Cheers!

Hello Tom thank you if your gunna back bleed the system then yes it will over flow that's why I said in the video you must take fluid out down to the min line as it will rise when you push fluid in.
I only showed you the 2 types of bleeding the 3rd is pressure bleeding. ✌️Oh if you do the pipe on the bleed nipple no it won't you just have to make sure you top it up as it pulled fluid through and pushes air out hope it helps

Hi, I've done the take out the bleed nipple thing to let air out, didn't work, currently reverse bleeding clutch from nr side caliper to clutch bleed nipple but only works for 4 days then clutch peddle goes to floor,, this is doing my head in

Used pressure tester, holds pressure but clutch still on floor, goes in gear easily when engine off, when clutch reverse bled holds for 4 days only

You might have to get a pressure bleed kit then some are a real nyt mear to bleed
