Very well-done video! I have a Ten Point Siege and have run into some of the quirky aspects of Acu Slide that are described. I only wish Ten Point would have instructional videos as helpful and concise as this!

Great video on operating the ACUSlide! I recently bought a Viper S400 from a local dealer and after a few sight-in shots (7) and hunting with it I noticed a loud squeaking noise while decocking it after bringing it in from the cold. The colder it was outside, the louder it was both cocking and decocking. Something didn't seem right so I took it back to the store. They took it in the back to diagnose. When they brought it back out I was told that everything was normal with the ACUSlide but they replaced the cables and string because they were stretched. It made me wonder just how long this bow had been sitting there put together with others taking test shots with it before I got it. I have a friend with the same model and his made absolutely NO sounds even though his was 2 yrs old. I wasn't satisfied and contacted TenPoint who gave me a RA number and prepaid shipping label to send it in. The tech called me and told me that while everything else was good in the mechanism, the brake was badly worn out and they replaced it under warranty. Now it's completely silent during the entire cocking and decocking sequence. Hope this might help others with a similar situation.
How do you adjust the arrow holder, mine the arrow sliding off when point the bow downward. I have tenpoint rs440 crossbow the hold had brush on it but maybe not have enough tension to push down. Any idea would help out. Thanks
@WyvernsCreations It seem to be ok, it look normal nothing came loose or bent, also it does look OK when inserting the arrow but when pointing downward the arrow sliding off drop out.
Hi Dave! Hope all is well with you, I received a bow from you guys today and the trigger housing seems to be in a locked position The bow is the nitro 505 and I can't seem to figure out how to get the housing to move... Please let me know how best to contact you for troubleshooting :-)
By far best info on how this system works! Should be standard info, I've had 2 "pro" dealers tell me completely different answers on how this works. Turns out they just BS you some answer for a sell, ridiculous. Thank You so much Wyvern for your fast and informative service. Love my new Siege (best xbow on the market imo) but definitely need to get used to the "idiosyncrasies"
Thank you so much... taking my new crossbow out of the box, I accidentally cocked it on the DFI... but I easily learned how to back it down using your guide and that silver tab on the left (and right) hand side! Great video!!
This is the best video describing the acuslide system. I was having trouble with my Siege RS410. After the video I figured out it was all me. It works great if you use it right. My rattles though. Is this normal?
@Wyvern Creations The Axe405 crossbow will shoot without removing its handle, I had it once too many issues with the limb and had it returned. Now I have the tenpoint havoc rs440. Will see how it goes on that one
Locked into string and began to crank string back.... Sounded weird and immediately after the cocking strap fell loose from inside the butt stock/ crank !! Brand new! What happened and how do I fix this?
Boy I'll tell you what I'd have to have David with me at all times to hunt with this crossbow it's too complicated if you do live if you don't do that why in the world would 10-point make something so complicated I mean they all but copied the Raven I've got two Raven you crank it up you crank it down you got none of these complications
Hey I have a question about my new tenpoint turbo s1 with the acuslide. It was accidentally shot without an arrow and now my string is stuck on the dry fire inhibitor. I tried to follow the instructions for de-cocking the bow but im not able to get it to de-cock so my bow is still cocked and I can’t get to any store until tomorrow sometime. Do you have any advice or should I just take it to an authorized dealer and get the string replaced since it has been dry fired.
There is a chance the hooks that hold the slide back may have bent during the dry fire. That being said the process of decocking the bow when it’s hooked on the dry fire bar will be the same as if your normally de cocking it but it will take a bit more effort to draw your trigger latch back enough to let the bow down
@@WyvernsCreations would you recommend taking it to a dealer? This is my first ever crossbow and I’m fairly green when it comes to bows in general so I’m a bit nervous trying to mess around with it to get this de-cocked.

I just ordered the new flatline 460. Will these instructions apply to the new Tenpoint crossbows? I wasn't sure if the AcuSlide changed.

Brush is probably bent or loose. Tighten it down and see if that helps if not order a new one

The strap pulled out of the gear. That will need to be fixed. Any service center can do it

What happens if your acuslide doesn’t lock anymore and free spools if your hand slips off the crank. What’s the fix for that?
Could be the brake inside the crank. You'll have to take it to an authorized repair center.

If your nervous it would not hurt to have it checked

Only if it needs to be replaced. Just that the hooks are not bent
