Really nice work on the video man. Also enjoyed the music as well. One of these days I will learn how to fly fish. I just subscribed to your channel. Good luck this season and tight lines.
Just fished the nantahala river, deep Creek and a little of the Indian creek on a spinning rod and power bait, only one brown trout, couldn't get to remote, I have my 7;yr old boy with me, I want to get into fly fishing so bad... The thing is I'm on SW Florida, plenty salt water fishing, but I only get to go to the Smokies once a year 😐
a guide is worth his weight in gold. If you're traveling all that way, ensure you are going to learn and get some experience and go with someone in the know.
I used to camp there in the 90’s when the loop trail was barely visible and before the foot bridge. That was before my fly fishing days I only fished it with an ultralight spin rod. Makes me want to go back. Beautiful day and what a treat when you have an opportunity to break away for a day and get into fish that nice. Keep posting

Oh nice! That's when you could have the place to yourself for days. It's a beautiful area for sure! Thanks for your comment!
Great video! Are you bear proof deep in the mountains?
Thank you! Just an air horn and a lot of noise 😅
Just curious what camera do you use?

It’s been 4-5 years now since I fished up that way - so beautiful - the gin-clear water, the rhododendrons… 🩵🎣 Tight lines!
