- The day is finally there: we’re having our final preparations for the Tour du Mont Blanc! The Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) is a 170km (106 miles) trek around Mont Blanc, which is the highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe. During the world-famous trek, you go through France, Switzerland, and Italy. ⛰️
We’re starting the trek in Chamonix, France @chamonix . Chamonix is a cute little town at the base of Mont Blanc. You can find here everything you need for your final preparations.

- WHERE WE STAYED -
We stayed for 2 nights in RockyPop Hotel in Les Houches. It’s a beautiful and cozy hotel with great parking facilities (really important for us). It’s a short (free) bus ride to Chamonix, so it’s really a perfect place to stay before the start of your trek!
- WHERE WE ATE -
Burgers @ Poco Loco, Chamonix: On our first night we ate burgers at Poco Loco. A small burger shop with perfect fries and delicious vegetarian burgers, for a good price!
Pizza @ RockyPop Hotel: We ate the pizza at our hotel. The honey and brie pizza was a delicious combination!

Nice video. That's funny - eating "stock bread". Imagine eating "out of stock bread". English as a second language, Dutch language interfering in the brain and going into French language territory. IIRC Anglo-Saxons call a French baguette and foreign approximations bad or good, a "baguette". The Dutch name "stokbrood", translated, "stick bread", seems best of all.
