Our final hikes amongst the beautiful countryside of mid Wales.
We loved this place so much.
Another hike into Builth Wells, a second one along the valley of the River Duhonw, and a few minor adjustments to the motorhome.
And then we had to leave for home.

Our dogs would be in heaven with that puddle! Love the hooks in the shower, think we will copy that idea, thanks very much.

A merch cup! Cool👍 Nice trip, Dave. Here, some people go to mud baths, smear themselves with mud for treatment and pay money for it. In Wales, at this time of year, it's absolutely free, plus fresh air, inspiring hills and beautiful memories🙂 I wish you a good continuation of your travels.🙏

Nice setup in the RV. Nice to see the town area. Muddy roads! The countryside was beautiful to see. I noticed the lamb had a rubber band on its tail for shortening its tail. We used to have to do that back on the farm when we were younger. My grandpa was a sheepherder. Great job on your herding abilities too! LOL. Fun exploration through the area. Nice river section. Beautiful area. Have a great day.
Oh that’s so cool Steve Sue’s Dad was a wonderful man. His shepherding skills were amazing. Miss him.

Yep a lovely place - we loved it there. Mostly on our own. Felt good to just relax and wander around the farm and the surrounding area.

We loved the "uniqueness" of the shops and cafe's. But it's the country around there that blew us away - absolutley gorgeous - tranquil and quiet with stunning scenery. You're lucky to live where you do 👍

We caught up with your adventures on the telly last night, as it has been a bit of a busy week. This site really does look beautiful, despite the mud! Ooh love the hooks in the shower and the towel loops sue! We might do that for camping pods and the like, always handy to make good use of small space living!👍. Beautiful river, and we enjoyed the quirky little shops in the village, i (Shell) could spend hours in places like that 😊. Haha we admire you motivation to "get on with it" Sue, no time like the present as they say! You didn't seem so keen Dave😂. Glad you made it back through the mud in one piece. You got a beautiful day for your hike the following day, what a lovely scenic path, right up our street 😊👌. Ah sue the sheep whisperer strikes again 🐑😊. Love seeing the little lambs this time of year. Really enjoyed that guys, popping over to your next adventure now 😊.

Yes the final couple of days there were so cool. The Sun finally came out on the last day and it really felt like Spring! It was a great hike into Builth despite Sue willing me to fall in 😃😃
Builth Wells is really wonderful. A proper old town with loads of independent shops and quirky pubs and cafes. We will definitely go back.
And yep Sue doing her Shepherding duties again. She just sort of gets in the zone!! 😃

You visit some really nice van camping sites! It’s so nice that they’re close to town and you can do lots of walking too. Hot showers are a bonus! Lovely walking in town and seeing the various shops. The big puddle and mud was quite a challenge! Adorable sheep 🐑🐑🐑💕. Take care guys and happy exploring! - Jen
It’s so beautiful around there Jen. Builth Wells is a wonderful little town with lots of quirky shops, cafes and pubs.
But so close to that gorgeous countryside and lots of hiking opportunities - pretty steep and boggy but wonderful anyway. We loved that area of Wales.
We’re off to Scotland next weekend we can’t wait!!

Well now, that's a tongue twisting alliteration of a title!! Hey, congratulations on the 1K subscriber milestone! Maybe if you had taken a dive in that great puddle you would have instantly gained a thousand more! LOL I asked someone when would be a good time to visit Wales when it would be dry, they answered that the two words, Wales and dry, are not normally found in the same sentence when describing anything about Wales!! LOL Sure is plenty of beauty to discover no matter the conditions. Awesome!!

@NBNatureTrailvan well it was nice last weekend but today's been a washout again. I'm involved with a Nottingham Rugby club and we have had the worst season in years with the pitches

I'm not surprised it's muddy with all the recent rain. I was waiting for the "You've Been Framed" moment with you trying to negotiate your way thro the mud. Some handy additions to the van. I bet it will be pretty cool touring Scotland in it. I'm in Scotland myself at the end of next month 🙂You seemed to get decent weather and some lesser spotted sun while in Wales, which is a miracle. We used to go to a three day Space Rock and Blues festival at a farm about a mile away from Builth Wells but thankfully not and as muddy when we used to go there. It always amazes me when a lamb gets separated in another field from it's mother but good job on reuniting them both lol. Nice walk along the stream and nice to see you managed to keep dry as well. Hi both, Noyadd Farm looked great and I can't believe you have had the van 6 months. Interesting to see the little housy bits that you have sorted Sue and its great that you are off to Europe in this soon whoo. Builth Wells looks so good, we have never been but heard a lot about it and the hike that you did looked great, idyliic like you daid and I lovey the noisy sheep and lambs :) Shame you missed the castle but that's another excuse to revisit 😃This was great, glad you enjoyed it :) ~ Anna 👍
