    *Three Things*
    1: Adore your hair buns♡
    2: Really love the all the green live plants 🪴 😍
    3: Aye, your mom just pulled into the driveway and I told her you were using her good dishes with the dirt *again* just kidding 😂 I know she knows 😆 ♡
    I'm in So Cali and I'm working on getting my backyard "green" except, the grass will be artificial. I live in the desert 🏜
    I joined your video for the replanting tips. I ordered a money tree for my mother's birthday this month, she's on the east coast. I'm trying to get some tips on what to do next. She took off the "bread tie" when it was delivered she didn't know. I hope the braiding will stay together. I kept mine on.
    I noticed that the "roots" are already growing so quickly. Meaning it's going to need another pot sooner than I thought! So this gift may not have been a good idea after all.
    Both came from Florida.
    Anyway, keep up with your videos and gratitude!😊

    I bought a money tree a month ago and I can't wait for it to grow big! I'm love with it.
    Mine had electrical tape wrapped around it in the root area/below the soil. I was not happy bout that.

    So nice to see you posting again Vero. And to see you on camera rather than just hearing your voice makes it extra nice. Keep hitting record.

      Thank you so much! It was a fun/frustrating experiment to try to speak despite all of the background noise, but it was worth it :)

    Terra cotta I believe it meant to be used by keeping the container itself wet which in turn helps provide moisture to the plant, I think its better for drier areas

    • @veronicaalejandra20
      @veronicaalejandra20  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Plastic or glazed pots are best at retaining moisture in drier areas. Terracotta is clay, which is porous and allows for air flow, which in turn dries out the potting medium faster than plastic or glazed pots 🙂

    So helpful & informative and perfect audio girl! 🥰👏🏾 Definitely needed to watch this before I repot my money tree. Would you say using either a ceramic/glass pot is ok or stick with a plastic one with a small hole in the bottom? And how often do you water it? Mine is an indoor desk plant in my office.
    And your mom is definitely get you for using her good dishes 😩😂

      Hey Chinenye! Thank you so much for watching my video, & I'm very happy to hear that it helped you out :) I would suggest to use a plastic pot with a drainage hole, or even a terracotta pot with a drainage hole if you are going to keep this plant inside. The terracotta pot will allow adequate air flow & will help prevent the soil from staying wet for too long. As far as watering goes, you would have to asses the situation by looking at how much sunlight the plant receives, & the overall appearance of the plant. I would suggest starting off with watering thoroughly once a week, & then check to see if the top 1-2 inches of soil is dry by the next watering, if not, wait a little more. Good luck with your plant! If you ever have any other questions, feel free to ask. & I can say that my mom is not amused by me using the kitchen things for my plants , ahaha! :)

    I saw that you removed the rubber band, but what about the twist tie at the top of the trunks? Mine looks like the twist tie may be strangling or cutting into it.

    • @veronicaalejandra20
      @veronicaalejandra20  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The twist tie is usually there to keep the braid in the trunk, but once your tree outgrows it, you can remove it without a problem. So you should take yours off, especially if it's hurting your tree! Hope that helped ❤️🙂
