48 min. As a sheep that only recently returned to the fold of Christ, I was fixated on bringing my adult children with me. I just checked the WA group I created specifically for biblical discussions. It is 4 months old. Yet they don't communicate on it. I also just had a month long visit from my 26 year old. It was all about fashion and food. She simply didn't raise any religious discussion with me and I tried on a few occasions but it went nowhere. I live next door to my mother and have, for a full year, evangelized to her. They simply don't respond. When I found the video on the thrashing and sifting of the wheat from the chaff, it is with humility that, as a parent, I need to let go of children. My pride made me think I could bring them to Christ. But in the process my eyes were on them, not on Him. The feeling was the one where the concert is about to begin and the usher is going to close and lock the doors. My children and my mom are late. All my pleas and warnings fell on deaf ears. The usher is telling me to come in, or be locked out. I have to let go and step into the concert hall. The sensation inside of me, as a mother, is heavy. My own mother, at 82, has clearly, on several occasions, told me she doesn't believe. She was raised in a missionary home with devout parents. She led me to the occult when I was a teenager, because of her best friend. God is telling me to let go ! My children were babtised and confirmed into the Catholic church by their father. So whatever message God wanted me to give them, over the last year, has been given. It is time to let go. I am so in love with Jesus and have been closeted about it since my early years. In the closet. What a shameful thing to have done. Now He is foremost in all my speech. Time He was foremost in every thought. May the Holy Spirit give me the strength needed to keep my eyes on Jesus, no matter what is happening around me. The family are the last binds in my life. He stripped away all casual and close friends, except 2, over the years. 🙏 All the glory to God. Always.
My story re: trying to tell family about what's going on in the world thru a Biblical lens...is SO similar to yours. Even the feelings you have are very similar to mine. I have 1 child - a 45 yo daugh. She mixes New Age & NAR & WOF ideology/false theology in with her version of Christianity. & my 19 yo gr'daugh blocked me. Said she, 'knows God.' I said, you can't know God unless you know Jesus first. My heart goes out to you! My mother passed last April. She was in a n. home w/ Alzheimer's. I have lived almost my entire 70 years feeling like nothing was normal. I have known since preteen years that something was coming during my life that would be cataclysmic. I have had several prophetic dreams, even before I came to know the Lord. That's a heavy burden for a kid and I never felt that I fit in for this reason. I've been waiting and still am. That's awesome! I woke up in 2017, when a friend told me about the Luciferian Globalists. There is a shadow over this present world & over America. I used to pray every night, "if You have always been here, then why is there a beginning?" I prayed that for years. After I was baptized, He showed me. I was going at least the speed of light, I have no more questions, I knew everything at that moment and it was about a Zeta second, the time for one electron to jump another. But it was warm and I wanted to stay there forever. I was going somewhere fast and it was SOOOO WONDERFUL! I think that's why I became so involved in drugs, trying to die, I guess. I like the understanding mentioned abouts 'we are a kingdom of priests....' Hebrews 5 helps us understand what it means to be a priest. Under our High Priest Forever Jesus Christ. For lack of better word's we are able to "use" or activate the mercy seat of Christ, BOLDY. We are beset with weaknesses and just by nature we understand the spiritual warfare. We can generate within our members of our personal bodies(temples of God) effectual fervent prayers. When we can recognize, yes that we have issues and are beset with weaknesses, our life reflects the need for mercy. We're coming to understand how much we hate the evil within us. We are learning the good and evil within us, therefore come off the milk and can live out a testimony. Personally in our closets with the doors shut by prayer or In ministry to other's from a place of compassion since we too know we are not all that and a bag of chips. Hearts need something to level with right now. Us living in humily knowing we need the High Priest allows powerful testimony for a hurting and lost world and it points to Him. Offering prayers for ourselves and the people is VERY effective (effectual), since its coming from a place we too need Him.

Biblical Cosmology isn't a salvation issue. The Bible clearly teaches we live in a flat earth, with circular shape, mountain ranges, as well as a dome (firmament) that separates us from the waters on top. I believe in Biblical Cosmology aka flat earth. God eventually will give us an aerial view of the world and will see that what he spoke in the Bible about the earth, the local lights is true. I like the understanding mentioned abouts 'we are a kingdom of priests....' Hebrews 5 helps us understand what it means to be a priest. Under our High Priest Forever Jesus Christ. For lack of better word's we are able to "use" or activate the mercy seat of Christ, BOLDY. We are beset with weaknesses and just by nature we understand the spiritual warfare. We can generate within our members of our personal bodies(temples of God) effectual fervent prayers. When we can recognize, yes that we have issues and are beset with weaknesses, our life reflects the need for mercy. We're coming to understand how much we hate the evil within us. We are learning the good and evil within us, therefore come off the milk and can live out a testimony. Personally in our closets with the doors shut by prayer or In ministry to other's from a place of compassion since we too know we are not all that and a bag of chips. Hearts need something to level with right now. Us living in humily knowing we need the High Priest allows powerful testimony for a hurting and lost world and it points to Him. Offering prayers for ourselves and the people is VERY effective (effectual), since its coming from a place we too need Him.

Maybe fear of ridicule. To me it’s amazing (apparently to the UN as well.) I read many books about Captain Cook when he was assigned to find the South Pole.
