Thanks for the videos! Just got an r50 and looking for inspo on how to spruce it up but at an affordable price. Not sure if you said in the video but at the arches the original plastic ones which you sanded down? :)
What type of paint would you recommend for the black plastic trims if only able to sand by hand without removal? I have an R50 with R51/52 upgrades but it has both some scratching and also dried body paint on the arches - not looking for a perfect result exactly, just planning to sand and respray in situ so I haven't got to fit and buy all the clips again. Would a matte or silk black plastic spray work over primer or do I need the factory paint?
You can use what ever paint you like but I would definitely recommend getting a plastic specific primer, Autotek spray cans are a good price and a professional quality
Cheers, well I bought off ebay to be honest think it's a bit of a myth that the paints dont mix, just try it on a piece of wood first, make sure everything is 2k compliant

Thats great! Yes they are just sanded back, primed and painted

We’re the trim pieces smooth painted already or did you get black plastic ones and flat them?
I flat them back, bit of a pain but worked well
