What an amazing artist. My wife and I have enjoyed probably a couple thousand hours of his music over the years. Far Away Trains Passing By was a soundtrack to our lives 2002-2004 while living in Paris. Ulrich is a treasure.
Love this for you guys :) I listened to monday paracetamol every morning in college in philadelphia as I would ride my bike north through the city during the sunrise back in 2015. will never forget that feeling..
For me, Ulrich makes music which is part of a small elite group of artists, that I like to call my coma group. My family are aware that if I end up in a coma for some unknown reason, then Ulrich's music will help me find my way back home, I guess this is the best way I can describe what this man's stunning music means to me...
Amasing artist. ive spent thousands of hours listening to his albums thru the good and the bad. even tho there were songs i would listen to when id have a breakup its still such good music i can still listen to it and put past the bad feelings and bring in the good vibes.
Where or how can you go about learning how to utilize this kind of equipment? I mean do you just figure it out yourself? Some people collect automobiles and vintage antiques but ulrich collects instruments, of greatness man inspired its incomprehensible.
Online research, forums. And daily dedication and devotion. I only got one synth that musicians consider worthless and I had a hell of a time learning it.
I see nothing to be very exciting about.... Normal synthesizers. It can be marvelous if I'll see an EMS Synthi or a Moog Lyra/Apollo. Those synth are very rare not the classics Oberheim, Elks and others.

This is absolutely bonkers. His work with these instruments is astounding.

I'm a fan of Ulrich! I am amazed to see this!!! Many Thanks!!!! He's so meticulous isnt he?
One has got to wonder, since the Waldorf Wave is supposed to be a direct outgrowth of the PPG Wave 2, does having one make the other redundant?
Holy crap! He's got a red Wave synth with the keyboard! I'll take mine in the blue and yellow livery, please...

The DX7 programmer almost seems like a joke - "They've finally released a hands-on DX7 programmer! [picture of that programmer]"

most of it works exactly the same, they're basically multiples of each other with different packaging and sound.
Agreed, a mad scientist
The word genius cannot be understated here. Generations from now people will be studying Ulrich Schnauss the same way we study Mozart.
LOL

Cool guy.
Finally a person who admits he uses a DX7.
“Couple of racks..”
Cool! Give me that 8 voice :-)
Этож охренеть
DX7 programmer LOL !!
I'm sorry, it's trivial, but how and where did he get all that dough?
I'm not suggesting he got all that money from the government, but Germany goes a lot further towards supporting artists than the United States.
For the love of god... buy a duster !!
+Cynon 66 dusters just move dust around. Get a vacuum.
Thanks Mum
I open all my windows and then use a Stihl garden blower.
Synth nirvana being held up by cheap pine and chipboard DIY shelving...oh my!

Total gear abuse , respect the gear 👎🏻
Dude, hire a cleaner!
