Im slightly afraid to know how many times I've listened to this album. Funny enough, this album is what I play when I want my children to fall asleep on long car drives (and what I listen to on longer flights). Its amazing, and I feel like I notice something different with each play through.

Ulrich: Plays divinely beautiful emotional music
People in the front row: waiting for a bus.

Music associated with significant events can be so powerful. I played this over and over as I moved away from my home of 25 years

Such an incredible and introspective piece of music. One of the best music creators out there.

Thanks for all the great comments. This gig was in Birmingham. As an American I don’t know how to compare with vibes in other cities like London. The fan base seemed like a lot of Tangerine Dream fans. Very focused and introspective vibe. As someone who has never met anyone else who has heard of Ulrich, I’m happy to have found my people!

In all fairness the vibe was very introspective. The audience seemed mainly like Tangerine Dream fans. I’m from America so not sure how crowds compare from London to other English cities like Birmingham. The show was very intimate, small crowd. I felt like I found my people.

I wish this extended outro was available in High quality… it always reminds me of my daughter and it almost always brings tears to my eyes when I think of her.

Unforgettable seeing Ulrich Schnauss play the Knitting Factory, LA, in Dec 2005. Thanks forever to KCRW radio for broadcasting him on Morning Becomes Eclectic and other back in those days.

Ulrich is an amazing composer nut it troubles me that not one chord was actually played in this performance.

Do those people know the genius they are in the presence of? Doesn't look like it!

It looks like he is doing a live remix of the album version of this song & fades it out early. I saw a show he did in 2013. Like this, he had his back to the audience. Unlike this, he didn't do tunes from his records (or somehow I didn't recognise them) & he didn't have a screen. If someone has their back to the audience and a big screen, the audience are evidently meant to be just looking at a screen, which they are. For me, music shouldn't have a screen. Having a stage as plain as possible is no harm. But a performer really shouldn't have his back to an audience, unless playing an immovable instrument like a church organ. At least be in side profile!

What a horrible public! Only to people understanding this great music.

The reverb is overbearing. I can't listen to it.
