      @@middleage_maniac1692 yeah Marino has that quick tight spiral that he can sling at high velocity, but I like Warren moons ball because it reminds me of how Russel Wilson throws his deep balls. Just a perfect arch and flight time, thrown so high and but still accurately finds his target.

      Moon threw it over handed and ripped it with his fingernails. Probably had more RPM’s on his spiral than anyone else.

    So does the spiral of a pass have a similar stabilizing effect to that of a rocket's tailfins (keeping the projectile pointed in the direction of motion), or am I misunderstanding one/both of these concepts?

      Not exactly. Its more like the spinning motion of a bullet. In fact a football is more or less shaped like a bullet. Albeit a two way bullet.
      But calling football, bulletball is kind of counterintuitive.
      On second thought, calling it Foot ball is counterintuitive as well.

    99% of my throws are perfect spirals. I too, am fascinated and love watching the football fly through the air. Let me know when you need a volunteer. I've been throwing since around 2004. The duke nfl official game ball is my favorite to throw.

      😂@@AK.CC1 I chose to shorten "your" to "yer" drop the letter "e" from the last "the" and use the "&" symbol rather than the word "and" so my comment would fit evenly on 3 lines because the visual layout of the text is important to me, cool that you cry over slang
