@@margaretwood152 Sometimes I am too eager to get the work done and forget about taking pictures. This one is mainly the Dark Angel character from Dark Vengeance, combined with a power axe and backpack from Chaos Space Marines. To try having a coherent look, I always opt for using the old metal Word Bearers shoulder pads when I can.
Yeah I probably could have showed that one a bit more, but sometimes you are just so eager to get done so you forget taking pictures or video. There are not so many bits involved apart from the DA librarian from Dark Vengeance and Green stuff.
Thanks! :) That new kill team looks awesome! I somehow lost the flame hand bit I bought when it dropped. It's probably the coolest CSM model of the current range I think. What will you have in your team?
I've added a noise marine in place of the heavy bolter. Got the chosen, the balefire acolyte, butcher and couple of gunners as well. Painting them as emp children
Knew I was going to subscribe from the thumbnail, and that video quality did not let me down. Absolutely gorgeous characters Edit; I love the second half of the video too, the little stop motion skit and the end shot were brilliant :)
I am so happy that I subscribed to this channel! That was spectacular, and the models are beautiful- not to mention how funny that was. Right on! By the way- it’s a crime that you don’t have more subs. I’ll do what I can to spread the word- unfortunately, I’m fairly antisocial. Keep up the awesome work 👍🏻
Cheers! I made sure all of the flame was properly white to begin with (I always have a black basecoat for everything else). Then I went making it gradually darker further up, starting with Yriel Yellow to Yellow Green (vallejo) to Moot Green, to the old Dark Angels Green and finally Chaos Black. First with an airbrush, then with a small brush to make sure the flame tips were darker than the insides. After that I nervously picked out the eyes of the daemon with a fine brush.
The 30k and 40k artwork is full of word bearers with text notes all over their armour since we can look at any point in the timeline and they would have a good reason to wear them. Be it the oaths of moments as Imperial Heralds, or the changing words of Lorgar when he comes into the picture. First religious texts on the divinity of the Emperor (before Monarchia's end), then religious texts about the true gods efter the Pilgrimage. Purity is a matter of perspective!
Love the flame on the termie librarian! they seem ready to bear the word to those faithless imperials
As they should!
Thanks! The flame felt like more than half the model while painting it!
🤔Why did he omit the process of converting & showing the Bitz you used for the 2nd (Hooded) Model❓

Fantastic work; especially the inner glow on the demonic flame.
Thanks!

Yooo I love the fire, how did you do it? I have a kitbashed telekinetic librarian and I want to add some lighting effects and I love how you did yours

@@Words.of.Heresy thank you so much! I'll try my best to replicate this
I'm guessing that's also how you got the OSL, with just over spray?
@@disendromeder4347 Overspray yes, with a few daring runs of the lighter colours as well.
@@Words.of.Heresy thanks a ton, man
No worries!
Why do they have purity seals when theyre chaos. But still, these look dope asf
