- The former Alaska Governor and GOP vice presidential candidate is not among the many Republicans running for President. But she says she's keeping her long-range options open - and while she admits to mistakes, she makes no apologies about speaking out on the issues. Correspondent Tracy Smith visited with Palin at her home in Wasilla, Aka.

I honestly admire her optimism.
I’ve never liked what she stood for, but I’ve got to hand it to her, with all the flack she’s taken over the years both personally and politically she sure has a thick skin. I think any lesser person would have retreated and probably never want to be seen again, but she’s a fighter and I respect her for that even though her politics suck.
Except that she did retreat. She ran away from the governorship, made a lot of money off these ghostwritten books that she hawked, and is now considered to be a relic from an earlier era.
She is a nut. There was always something about her that was unsettling, annoying, chilling and grating. I don't think she was ever satisfied.
At least she admitted to not being perfect. We are all imperfect. Be humbled

I don’t hate Sarah Palin. Also, I myself am a Christian. But I see her talking about that gorgeous view from her home (and it is) & talking about the majestic beauty of “God’s Creation” as she put it (the sentiment of many Republicans). So I wonder, why then isn’t Climate change or the environment in general even a remote concern to them? The oceans, the forests, mountains, rivers, the sky & animals are all beautiful but they just don’t care that we’re slowly destroying it all. Climate change shouldn’t be a partisan issue it’s a human one. And while it’s not a religious issue, shouldn’t it kind of be for Christians at least? Look at the Bible & you’ll find verse after verse about everything from not harming animals, not recklessly chopping down forests to taking care of the earth. It’s all there. Just a thought!
@carol carol That’s good at least. It’s a shame more republicans aren’t vocal about it though. I just wish the environment wasn’t a one party issue. We should all care about it & work to preserve & protect it. I’m not an “environmental nut” either I just think it’s odd to politicize the issue. We’ve only got one Earth right? Lol 🤷🏼♂️ 🙂
Watch @Christspiracy when it gets released because it explains why the Bible and other religions books/scriptures are full of hypocrisy and who some of the evil culprits were that wrote those parts- doesn't badmouth any religion or religious people- it points out our hypocritical beliefs and gives accurate history answers to many questions when religions were started so many years ago. I feel more spiritual after and wished I had known Jesus being empowered with the truth now. Knowledge is power and change.
When she talks about Bristol’s wedding falling apart and her empathizing with single mothers, it looks like she’s tearing up. She really is human.

The rest akin to BOTH Palin and Trump "has gone up in smoke". The World knows their "open book history". I know that deceased Senator McCain REGRETED having her as running mate. Personally, I find NOTHING admirable about PROPAGANDIST or THEORISTS. Must I remind Americans how passionate she argued for "sexual abstinence" while her daughter who also espoused the SAME got pregnant and her marriage which was RUSHED ended up in GLOOM? Then there was that story of her own sexual affair with basket player, GLEN Rice. Glen was NEVER denied having that SEXUAL affair with that bedeviled witch. She was NOBODY worthy of being emulated!

2:52 really breaks my heart. Say what you want about her but you can see the pain this caused her. She’s a human being. She’s accomplished a lot and maybe she wasn’t right for the job of VP but it doesn’t make her an idiot. I sure wish she would watch her words and actions a bit better but she seems like a charming, ambiguous person that loves her family. People need to practice more empathy.

She is not very bright and pretty clueless about policy. She has no depth of knowledge about any substantive national political issues. When she speaks it's just a word salad. But she seems like a good upbeat person that would make a great friend or neighbor. Just stay out of public office.

People can say and think what they may and even go as far as to hate and judge this lady but she has balls of steel when using her voice for the greater good of the people. Love or hate her but shes always brutally honest and that's a trait you hardly see in politicians today. She would stand alone in what she believes in if nessacery.... but she isn't alone. We need more leaders like her whether anyone wants to admit or not but I will.
