Same, you can see seeds of their AI stage show that has basically been the template ever since, but there's still a flexibility there, as well as maintaining the core trio as the primary focus
I know this might be cliche but everybody knows it dookie was their best album. I know it’s their most popular but it’s because it was groundbreaking and really good. Warning was great but it wasn’t breaking any boundaries.
This might be the best set list I’ve seen! Just needs paper lanterns, going to pasalacqua, stuck with me, armatage shanks, and of it had 2000 light years away that would be even better, but I’m not complaining
Agreed to be fair. Could have done with Armatage Shanks and maybe Westbound Sign (though I don't think they've ever played that). My favourite song from Insomniac is the the one on there though so I'm quite happy. :)
This is incredible that they have this loaded on here. I was at this show very close to the stage and crowdsurfed 6+ times just to get out of the crowd, it was nuts
I waited at Tower Records on Long Island for my pair lol Great Show. I was the guy screaming for Scattered every break once they said it was a request show. When they played it I went nuts. Can't believe it's 21 years already
This could be part of the box set for the album’s 25th Anniversary! Higher quality sound of course. It’s an incredible setlist and I would love to hear it on vinyl. Thanks for the video btw!
I was at this show and requested Scattered and you can hear me screaming it several times at several breaks. Great Show can't believe it's already 21 years ago.
Was it when he said “we can’t do that one yet, it’s like a finale” because they usually ended the main set before the encore with scattered around this time so that would make sense”
randomly throughout 95 i think till 2004 burnout isn't played live because of the way tre has his drums, you need an extra rack or floor tom to do the second fill in the drum solo
Yes... I think our definitions of "HD" are clearly very different. 480p with poorly encoded inter-frame video that occasionally fails to play non I-frames (that "ghosting" you begin to see every now and then, especially around Dancing With Myself)... Isn't exactly what I'd call anything like "HD"... And why is there a white filter in front of most of the image?! And the audio keeps tripping up too, although that's not relevant. It's better than nothing of course, and thanks a lot for uploading this, but you can't in any universe call this "Full HD" :P
This was the same year I seen Green Day in Boston with only 50 people at Club Axis. This was best Green Day. Pre American idiot. This was when Warning came out and record company stopped caring and they actually changed their sets and stuff.
Dude! I was at that fucking show! I didn't have tix so waited out all day with a few others in front of the club to try to score some. I can't recall how I ended up getting in. Some of the kids I was with were conned by some local shock-jock into harassing one of the local news crews shooting outside Fenway (something was going on with Red Sox that day - not sure what it was) to get in. Not sure whetehr they did. It was an incredible show. They played J.A.R. and at the end we were all screaming at Billie Joe to tell us to finish the damn lyric. And the band they put together from the crowd? "The Fuckheads"! Remember Tre? "That fuckhead broke my drum!" I was trying tor request C#(tion) but Billie Joe couldn't figure out my hand signals. I then asked for a Screeching Weasel cover and Mike made some remark in response that I made the mistake of repeating and really pissed off someone I shouldn't have. Funnily enough, it ranks only as the third best GD show I've been to. The best (by far) was on the Insomniac tour and the second best was that crazy show at the Fillmore in December 1997 when Billie Joe jumped into the audience to attack some dude. After the Axis show, it's been a very steep downhill trajectory in the quality of GD shows I've attended.
I've got the original version of this somewhere in my loft. It definitely wasn't HD - It was never broadcast on TV or anything - livestreamed only - so the quality is RealPlayer 2000 level of fidelity.
Not hating since I love American Idiot but all the stuff in that album that blew people's minds was done in Warning with the exception of the longer songs.
This is a dumb question but by any chance does anyone know the song playing in the venue after the concert and stage destruction is over? You can hear it abit
I was at this show. It wasn’t June; it was Sept or Oct. The tickets were free, some sort of promotion for the record, but I got mine from a scalper outside.

Well, that would be if I can even hear him
Been my fav band since 94... I want to see them play live before I die. 🤘
I believe they're working on some new stuff for this year. If they are there will be a tour, so...
This is awesome! This is probably my favorite era of Green Day. Thanks for posting!
Same, you can see seeds of their AI stage show that has basically been the template ever since, but there's still a flexibility there, as well as maintaining the core trio as the primary focus
@@slimkickens yes exactly we’ll put! They were so great as a stripped down 3 piece. Still great now just different.
fREACkin love this show, warning the best album forever I don't care what haters think
Its not the best but its definetly under-rated (sadly)
I love the warning album but it’s not my favourite green day album
the show is great warning was GREAT but wayyy not my favorite 💚🔥
agree, this was their peak

They played the most kerplunk and 39/smooth songs in a while so that makes up for it

Fantastic old school set list
One of the best setlists they ever put together! :O :O :O
Just subbed.
What is sad is that they could have added a little more insomniac but I'm sure this is one of the best concerts.
Agreed to be fair. Could have done with Armatage Shanks and maybe Westbound Sign (though I don't think they've ever played that). My favourite song from Insomniac is the the one on there though so I'm quite happy. :)
They have played westbound sign live, I think.
they did in August 1994

I wish they would still take requests like this, I would love to go to a show like this one
In Minority Jason is JAMMING on that guitar. Holy Cow!
here because I Love Green Day! I could care less what they wear or if they wear makeup these days! TRUE FAN!
Please don't ever say "true fan"
I'm a bass player and I really enjoy this mix:)
Same broo😎😎🔥🔥
I remember standing in line at 11:00PM on a Sunday at the Tower Records on 66th and Broadway to get a pair of free tickets to this show.
I waited at Tower Records on Long Island for my pair lol Great Show. I was the guy screaming for Scattered every break once they said it was a request show. When they played it I went nuts. Can't believe it's 21 years already
Got mine from a scalper outside for $20.
Didn't this guy get the date wrong though? I thought it was October 4th
This is really a great show. Diserves better sound quality
And your comment deserves better spelling 😛

Going to Pasalacqua makes every setlist better

Great to see this one. Correct date is October 4, 2000, though.
Thank you, that's what I thought. I waited out in front of Tower Records in Carle Place Long Island all night to get these tickets
Did they almost play ROTTING!?!?!?!?!?

Props to these guys. If I had to play When I Come Around for 20 years and act like I’m into it, I’d murder everyone
Thank God when I come around has been replaced with wake me up when September ends lol

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Shaggs" Brilliant
Nice to see this many warning songs being played
Damn, Jason is absolutely jamming out. You love to see it.
I believe this is one of the earliest shows that Billie Joe used his 56 Les Paul Junior ‘Floyd’ on.
randomly throughout 95 i think till 2004 burnout isn't played live because of the way tre has his drums, you need an extra rack or floor tom to do the second fill in the drum solo

That bass be loud 🔥 I like it
if only they actually played desensitized at 53:02, or even rotting... brat is a great song too though

I love them so mutch 😭
Some of these songs I don’t think I’ve ever heard before
1:03:15 Stuck With Me
I think Green Day is one of those bands that sound AWESOME even without audotune🤘❤😍🤘
And one of the best live bands in the whole fucking planet! 🤘🏻😎
But who played with autotune?
fuckin awesome
Denver, Fillmore Warning is still my most fave concert
From 5:55-6:03 Tré is funny asf! If i did that drumming my head would hurt and my neck would be fucked! #BestBand!
Esto es y será green day
Imagine society if Green Day played Rotting that night
I love all by myself because tre sings it his singing voice is funny
Great Audio Just a little compressed but not to bad great show with rare songs

I am curious why you have the date as 06/06/2000? I was there... on 04-OCT-2000 (see tour dates @ www.greendayauthority.com/tour/2000/ ).

I used to pay £20 for these on VHS and id watdh it until it wore out.
This Setlist is fucking perfect.

Badass!!
First time I saw Green Day was on this tour..
Around 27:00 ,Billie sounds like how he does today .
They played a lot of songs from warning which is good because it was the warning tour
Warning wasn't even out yet at the time of this show, not even the lead single minority
Awesome
The fat phase for billie joe Armstrong who remembers it cause i do
But they still looks so adorable. Like he's so happy that he's floof.
He's not fat he's just preparing to get the jawline to have that American idiot look .
Anyone notice the “Pete” amp from Woodstock? It’s somewhere here.

Not hating since I love American Idiot but all the stuff in that album that blew people's minds was done in Warning with the exception of the longer songs.
Nah, Idiot was a conceptual rock opera with a completely different and heavier tone than Warning. Warning has a poppier, clean sound.
I was there
Can really hear the basslines. 🎸
This is a dumb question but by any chance does anyone know the song playing in the venue after the concert and stage destruction is over? You can hear it abit
I can’t believe Billie Joe hates Led Zepplin
Punk rock and roll最高👍💘👏
The Warning period is my favorite of Green Day
Holy shit 1:02:15 that's John DeDominici of Bomb the Music Industry, Death Rosenstock and the Arrogant Sons of Bitches getting on stage to play guitar
