Nagi has a very underrated ambidexistrious ability which allows him to utilise the central, left and right side of the field, he can play in every attacking situation/position
i had forgotten about this, but at this point it's underrated because it doesn't scale in comparaison to the other strickers' new abilities. the players know Nagi can pull some op tricks on all sides too.

nah i think his style suits central role or maybe centrally inclined roles. He is no way a wide player like bachira or chigiri

im surprised i havent seen anyone (to my knowledge ofc) suggest the idea that their wont be a set starting 11 for the world cup and instead ego will have different lineups depending on the teams they play, which would make sense since some players can play multiple positions like how chigiri and bachira have played as wingers or fullbacks

100%. There’s no need for them to play for a starting spot now when Ego has 100s of hours of tape on each of them and will move them as he sees fit. If anything, guaranteeing a starting spot is the exact opposite of Ego’s MO
Also I think they can make the sudden return of Sae Itoshi for the U-20 World Cup, It will heck crazy that the 24th player in the squad is Sae Itoshi.

I think the way the teams will be decide will be similar to how we as kids used to do which was picking players and it’d probably be team rin vs team isagi since they will most like be ranked was the top 2 in the NEL
I also had the same thought, personally the NEL really matters since the whole world is watching, and maybe the final selection won’t even be aired. IMO I think Rin wins the NEL but maybe isagi team beats rins in the final selection ? This helps grow their rivalry for a possible 4-4-2 lineup with Isagi and rin being up front for the U20 World Cup. If Isagi wins the NEL than rin wins final selection, I don’t like this idea because we definitely want to see Isagi succeed in the U20 World Cup, having him win everything people will consider it bad writing and hate on blue lock IMO. We’ve always seen Isagi struggle , and sometimes he wins and sometimes he loses embarrassingly. Which is good imo shows character growth. But having him win it all including NEL, Final Selection, and U20 World Cup, I can see people hating all day.
What I would like is a 12 chapter match between the best 22 bluelockers, and appart from the introduction chapter where everyone will have a little moment to shine. Throught the others 11 chapters, we'll be revealing the starting 11 for WC, and each starter will be the main star in one of those 11 chapters.
For example, a few chapters dedicated to someone achieving a goal, a chapter where Gagamaru is insanely stopping consecutive shots, another one with Aiku or Karasu being gods at defence or playmaking.

I do think there will be a starting 11, but I also think that their will be switching players against different nashinal teams to make sure for victory and to also show off the blue lockers

I don't see kunigami making the regulars tbh hes not a bad striker compared to the rest of the people who will probably make the top 23, but i dont see him being put as a offensive option over strikers that can do what he can and better and same goes for any other position

Yeah, all those people don’t really understand how football works and the goal of blue lock which is literally win the World Cup, the real one, U-20 World Cup will be just the start for the Japan team, then there will be the part where every player starts playing professionally in the clubs they got selected (champions league maybe) and then we’ll have the real final arc, the World Cup, with Noa Lavinho Chris Prince and probably some real players too, and there could be a lot of arcs in between cause football has a lot of competitions. Just take Tsubasa for example, Asian cup, Asian qualifications, U20 World Cup, olympics, normal leagues, champions league

I wud sooo like to see isagi lose the world Cup as then it wud lead to his redemption training arc where he goes to Germany and trains with noel noa and then he returns all changed and it wud be a perfect send.off to the series where every one is present watching on as isagi finally after years of struggle achieves his goal of becoming the number one striker. Just like in haikyuu when hinata lost. In nationals and went to Brazil for training arc and then returned and finally won against his rival kageyama.

So I think that your a little off with this I think there is an arc in between but the piece we are missing is itoshi sae I believe that the surprise that the president has for ego is involving him again sae will automatically take the 23rd spot on the team leaving igaguri out. I think this may result in an arc where ego rin and the bluelockers will want sae to prove that he is able to keep up with their mentality sae has to be on the team and I don't see the blue lockers who just fought tooth and nail to get to where they are accepting him just being on the team like that same goes for ego as he knows sae's ego has been crushed already. This will also double as a training arc and a close to the brotherly dispute or head way in some way the close may come when they have to actually work together during one of the u 20 cup games. This may somehow even put them up against real magdrid since they've been getting hyped up so often now maybe a last game to settle the score with kaiser as well since he may be on the team she's condition for joining maybe that he won't join a team that can't beat his current one and they all may go along with it.

I think it would be more like "Foundation arc" where they will be defining who will be the reference for the Japan U-20, going back to the beggining of blue lock, and turning 0 to 1
I think that rin and isagi will tie at the top value and have a coin flip to decide who picks teams and we have them choose their teams of 11 so 22 plus kunigami or like how bm is ego makes the other players choose their team then they go against each other and train and with masters will get help from them all to push them all to their limits for the World Cup

I would like to see every player be told what positions they’ll be playing as well as their roles within the system. Ego should give us a week of scrimmages where each player gets a match score. By the end of the week Ego averages out match scores based on the data plus his bias, and from there we know the U20 lineup. That’s be perfect

Looking from the most realest perspective Zantetsu is the only valid pick for LB , bro was literally built for this position ( very fast, his very specific weapon acceleration that makes him so useful in 1v1s, in both defence and offence, the only left footed player other than Kunigami, bro could cross so many balls for either Barou Nagi or Shidou to finish, RW & LW are valid for him to but with so many players I doubt he'd get the chance unless Ego plays with wingbacks)

As it stands I think Reo won't have an official position. I think Reo will be the Universal. I think we won't do a full 11v11, that would be far too problematic and long for us. Long matches have definitely spurned us too long at the moment. Give us some short matches. Like Ego putting them through training drills where offense has to score while defense has to get the ball past the midfield. This is where we see the strongest strikers vs the strongest defenders. This would also give us a lot of combinations and see which combinations WONT WORK. And to see who can Sub in specific spots.
And I actually think Kunigami is secretly practicing defense. So he can shut shidou down during PxG I Don actually think Kunigami wants t score, I think his reborn heroism won't be to score, but instead to stop the villains
