- BLUELOCK'S Whole objective has been to create the number 1 striker in the world. I'll be going over my picks for who I think has a chance at being the starting striker for Japan and Blue Lock going into the up and coming U20 World Cup Arc.

what Chigiri loves the most is outrunning people, the penalty area is small, so he will not experience the same thrill he loves so much and little space to use his speed

Gagamaru deserves at least honorable mention. That guy is so overpowered, they made him the goalie so he wouldn't outshine the mc.

I don’t think kunigami will be a starting striker, considering what ego said, he was only let back into the nel to raise the lvl of the other players. This means that after they reached a certain level, kunigami may not have any use to ego anymore. There’s also a chance that kunigami regains his ego in the pxg match tho so idk
I mean respectfully that makes no sense idk what the mangaka is thinking , to raise the level you clearly have the world strikers and the new gen 11s isagi got so much better by competing with kaiser than with kuni , unless kuni is being set as a final villan with I doubt it dosent really make sense also the first translations were so diffrent it said "you were created to be the best striker in the world throw away your ego kunigami become the impossible" that completly changed.
@@florentdbz9873It’s a little cryptic for now, but I believe the idea for creating another Noa inside the environment of Blue Lock can be a big factor for boosting the rest as well.
I think it’s mainly about adding that additional challenge that can constantly be on the field, unlike Noa who only has three minutes at any given time. Hence him being called the wild card. He’s thrown in to see what can come of it.

I feel like in the U-20 world cup they are gonna change formation to 2 strikers with Rin and Isagi. Plot wise it would make sense for them to end up EEL with the same salary and share the nr 1 spot together. And during the world cup for Isagi to become undisputed nr 1.

I think if there will be a striker selection arc, then it will start off with everyone who had scored during the NEL then go on from there.

Nah i think isagi will win the match but hell have only 1 goal while rin would have 2 making him starting striker. I think thats the only way to make the plot fair either that or pxg wins and isagi is starting striker or they just put 2 strikers like they are doing now. my favorite idea is that of a plot twist where kunigami ends up with a hat trick and becomes starting striker.
Everyone is going to have their fair share of struggles in the u20wc, not just isagi
If there is a world cup arc after U20 WC, I'd imagine Rin takes the spot here so that Isagi can take it from him for the proper World Cup.

for the sake of plot its either gonna be rin or isagi eventho they both have qualities to be more then strikers since they can control the game, i also think nagi has a higher chance of being a starting striker then shidou specifically cause theres a better chance seeing nagi synegise with the team then shidou

isagi will prolly start as a shadow striker with a 2 striker system with rin or a single striker as a false nine to use his playmaking

I don’t think that should be the deciding factor. If Isagi beats Rin which he will for plot and narrative do you think he is deserving to start over Rin as Striker who has 6 goals and possibly more after the last game while Isagi has 2 possibly 3 after the match.

I think that Kunigami will improve in the near future rapidly, well maybe not in the NEL but U20 world cup. He is from all character the one that resembles Noel noa the most and Isagi resembling Ego jinpachi (speculation). So I believe that Rin or Kaiser will be Isagis biggest rival, but Kunigami.
Rin imo is most likely to be the main striker still, isagi being #2 is obvious and Barou remaining an alternative chaos striker would be cool
What wouldhave been cool is if we never got kaiser or meta vision and we just saw isagi level upp his direct shot to a kaiser impact level shot bc meta vision is lowkey so boring
In my opinion Rin and Shidou are the best strikers, I think ppl are underrating Shidou because of the loki chapter but we rly didnt see wh or how many shots he took vs Lahvino, feels like the author just added a downside since he basnt give any improvement to pxg’s top 2-Also isagi is better at mf or cdm than a striker

I really dislike Rin's arc. After the game against the Japan national team I was fully expecting him to lose his ego and his drive, him easily recovering was a major letdown in my opinion. His character could grow a lot with a "slower" process or even by giving up on football. I was hoping for his end to be there mostly because that would increase the stakes like they never where before

as a Shidou glazer, its gonna be Shidou. And I have a genuine reason. If Shidou and Rin manage to work together in the pxg match, they both will be in the starting 11. First off, where else would you play Shidou? Rin and Isagi, and even Barou, the three main candidates, could most definitely play on the wing. Shidou is a through and through striker. It’s either gonna be Shidou as striker, Isagi as AM and Rin and Barou on the wing. Or, Rin is going to be the striker, with Shidou on the bench, swapping on when needed.
Bro you are mistaken, blue locks whole objective is to develop a egoistic striker and not a team player, shidou will still be 4th nonetheless but they really don’t need a team player, shidou being the demon he is, he really doesn’t exactly need team play in that sense.
Igaguri has to be starting striker, he never gives up, he will get the most goals by never giving up 💪

I don’t think it’ll take a 100 chapters for a u20 World Cup arc. At least 15-20 would be enough for them depending on Bluelock’s progress in the WC.

Quite naive to think that there needs to be a singular starting striker throughout the whole cup. Positions and and even starters will very likely be switched between games and even throughout games

As of rn, Rin should still be tye mains strikeer for Japan in u-20 world cup but it also depends on what formation they go with like they could go with 4-4-2 formation (bastard munchen), what pxg did or sum similar which have 2 strikers, but they are also probably gonna go with something similar to their blue lock vs u-20 Japan formation with Rin as the center forward and isagi as a ss(second striker) or a winger

I think Isagi will claim Nr1 against Rin in the next match and then we delve more into having the ego of staying Nr1, maybe dealing with set backs and injuries as well. Rivalry will come from other countries, like Kaiser currently. Rin is too focused on Sae and Isagi, he doesnt care about the rest and Sae cant be an opponent in the next arc.

Bro you downplayed Shidou way too much.
When we don’t talk just about just STRENGTH but PHYSIQUE there also is the big element of speed which him and Rin probably have the highest stats out of the 6 candidates with Shidou probably being slightly faster because he has actual speed feats in the second selection on a similar note like Zantetsu in the first and how he caught up to Rin in the U20 match running nearly full field length.
Also Shidou knows more teamplay earlier than Barou as shown when he made a backpass to Igaguri and we saw him going back to defend in the U20 game.
Shidou really was apart from Rin the absolutely best striker in Blue Lock pre NEL and I doubt he won’t have evolved a lot.
Barou being literally the only striker of the Ubers roster makes him a bit overrated since he had no competition and Snuffy told them to play so he can score like Bastard did for Kaiser at the start.
And let’s not forget based on how Isagi boosted his worth the goals and the overall plays of Shidou must be valued higher than Barou‘s if he achieved 2/3 of Barou‘s value with half the goals scored.
Shidou knows more teamplay than Barou? the striker who couldn’t make a single chemical reaction with anyone in Bluelock. Shidou isn’t that consistent even if he scores difficult goals it doesn’t matter because he makes so much attempts and miss like Loki said he needs to increase his accuracy and range he went 2/12. Barou currently clears as a striker. People like you think he is better because of the flashy goals.
@@RinSolos_ Look at real players like Messi, Haaland, Mbappe, Ronaldo etc. they make a lot of shot attempts those aren’t missed shots but just not goals because a defender or goalkeeper was in the way. There was never stated that he missed the target. And we don’t have any numbers for Barou’s shot conversion rate which could be on the same level of Shidou or even worse without confirmation.
And yeah I will obviously say a great goal is higher value because at the end of the day sports is an entertainment business that’s why Bachira’s dribbling has great value because that’s what people like to see in Spain.
And Barou’s chemical reaction of stealing the ball from your own teammates isn’t really what anyone would call good teamplay.
Shidou passes to others knowing he will receive it back since the introduction of his character and in the U20 game with Sendou is a good example but Barou just recently learned that so I think Shidou has better teamplay.
@@devourer_of_skills The thing is he only had 3 shots on target based off what Loki said meaning those other 12 attempts straight up wasn’t on target and the Gk didn’t save it thats the difference between Shidou and Mess, Mbappe, Ronaldo. Attempting alot of shots are fine but if they aren’t on target thats bad. Barou does the same thing as Shidou he passes knowing he will receive it back. He only created the stealing goals from teammates playstyle to adapt to playing with Isagi and Rin since he is a solo striker while they have support. Shidou just waits for the ball to be passed to him and he scores he doesn’t exchange one two passes up the pitch like we see Barou do. Also Barou helps on defense Shidou does not. Saying Shidou has better teamplay is an obvious bias take.

Isagi is perfect for CAM or CM. Not anywhere else at least as for now.
