One thing I noticed about Yukimiya is that he's a complete contrast to Isagi. Yukimiya is known as the 1 on 1 Emperor, meanwhile, Isagi is trash at 1vs1s excelling in real games. In addition, Isagi's whole deal is his crazy vision, while Yukimiya has a literal eye disease.

I mean u-20 was hype but there this match is different. Putting Kaiser in his place, making Noa his pawn, doing a little plot twist with Yukimiya to score the final goal. Only thing U-20 Japan had going for them was Shidou, Sae and Aiku
Agree. Ego said that Bluelock can win U-20 no problem. They only had Sae and Shidou to hype it up. Can't really say about their defenders like Oliver & friends. They are good but Reo singlehandedly devour their skills in a single match. Also their strikers sucks (esp. the ace).
it shows that despite isagi's rapidly developing ego deep down he's still that empathetic, passive guy at the beginning who wanted to win alongside all of his closest friends. he knows how to switch between the two sides of himself to devour and deceive those with similar levels of metavision to himself.

@@Zeck22z I’m aware that he was ultimately using Yukimiya as a tool, however, that also proves he isn’t so egotistical (to the extent of Barou, for example) to the point he cannot share the ball in order to cease victory. This proves he still has the ability to behave like his old self if the situation calls for it, something someone like Kunigami is incapable of doing at this moment in time.
I find it weird how so many people hate kaiser. Unlike rin or barou he actually seems to really like and appreciate Isagi. He told ness to shut up when ness was criticizing Isagi and keeps "promoting him" inside his "stage". He also seems pretty fair to Isagi, even passing to him in one of the matches at the start to see what Isagi could do. I totally don't get the Kaiser hate and in fact I foresee him ending up an ally of Isagi. A team needs more than one striker after all. I think people are too small minded about some of the characters.
To be fair, knowing Rin and Barou personality, Isagi is probably the one they are closest to, Kaiser however just intentionally trolling Isagi, he didn't like him at all, they play together while devouring each other just like how Isagi play with Barou, the difference is Barou doing it out of respect and he sees Isagi as someone to "defeat", a real threat, the same can also be said about Rin in the recent chapter, on the other hand Kaiser doing it just for the sake of showing his superiority. Thus being said, i don't think he's bad "bad", he knew when to play as a team, it just the theme revolving around him is always been "superiority complex", so in then he never sees Isagi(nor anyone else around his age) to be his equal.
On the website where im reading blue lock after isagi says "how does it feel to be the clown of my story" they drew another panel where kaiser was a literall clown.😂
when i first learned about this arc and started reading through the first chapters of this new arc, it reminded me of when in HxH, Gon and Gin were sitting atop the tree and Gin was explaining to Gon about the Dark Continent, and how it filled me with mystery and excitement.

Bastard just needs to be humbled and finally work together cause kaiser and isagi working together would break the internet.
