Everyone is saying that Michael was the real villain, but realistically if he hadn't betrayed her first - honor would've done the exact same thing and moved on with her life. Let's not forget that she lied first, and she was the one with the plan to take everyone else down. Truth of the matter is she's not that much better a person than Michael, she simply got out-manipulated.
She changed, she actually grew to care about the others she manipulated. He didn’t care, he didn’t learn
@@trrt2719 Maybe, but the way I see it (and the way Michael sees it too) "the way you chose to do it showed that you had a heart". Everyone's lives being better and less grade focused were merely a side effect, and it did ultimately distract all of us from the main goal being achieved: none of them got into Harvard. Michael didn't decide himself to go out of his way to hurt others, he just saw what honor was doing and took his opportunity. He was smarter than everyone else, beat Honor at her own game, and eventually he was the one to get into Harvard.

@@FluFive michael didn’t get into harvard tho. in fact, we don’t really know if any of them got into harvard because it was all about getting a recommendation letter for harvard (not an automatic acceptance to harvard). but at the end of the day, it still wasn’t michael who got the letter, it was kennedy and that was because of what honor did at the end. this was the biggest sign of her growth. she cared about kennedy and still helped her get into harvard even if she was still vying for that same recommendation letter.
sure, honor was very manipulative in the beginning, but seeing as to how things unfolded, i think it’s safe to assume that she would’ve dropped all of those plans whether or not michael was in the picture. sure her growth would’ve have been slower (cause she wouldn’t fall in love or smth), but i don’t think we can deny that she definitely changed because of her growing friendship with travis and kennedy. at the end, she cared about both of them and she probably wouldn’t “just move on with her life”. she most likely will still have done the same thing (give the opportunity for the letter to someone else, whether kennedy or travis). anyways, that’s my take on it hahaha 😅
@Teumetin I get where you're coming from, but there are a few inaccuracies. First of all, I don't think what honor did at the end was a sign of her growth - quite the opposite actually, I think she did what she did solely to get back at Michael. In addition, I think the core part of her relationship with Kennedy and Travis was Michael himself, who made her realize she doesn't need to sabotage anyone, and even if it weren't- and say Michael wasn't in the picture - sure she might still have had developed those relationships, but at the end of the day nothing would have prevented her from acing midterms and getting the recommendation letter, as we see her plan still was at the end of the movie, except the only thing stopping her was Michael, and sabotage everyone else who was surpassing her along the way. As I said, the relationships were a mere byproduct of the whole process. Though there is still a small chance honor would have regretted her actions, and still threaten recommendation letter dude (forgot his name) to recommend someone else, but honestly I don't think we know enough about her to determine whether or not she would have done that.

Um Plot Twist realmente incrível
Eu assisti a esse filme honor society hoje e eu passei o filme inteiro shipando a honor com o Michael ,o romance deles era lindo e cheio de amor,mas aí tudo se desaba no final quando a gente descobre que o Michael era um mentiroso,ele só estava usando a honor pra conseguir ganhar a bolsa de estudos pra Harvard,gente eu fiquei triste e com raiva ao mesmo tempo porque eu acreditei muito no Michael e eu realmente achava que o amor dele pela honor era verdadeiro,eu realmente não esperava que no fim das contas ele fosse o vilão da história, sério,o Michael me enganou direitinho,mas ainda assim eu gostei muito desse filme porque ele nos ensina uma lição muito importante: "muito cuidado em quem você confia, nem tudo é o que parece ser" ,agora eu vou levar essa lição pra vida porque assim como a honor eu também fui enganada e fiquei tão triste quanto ela.

Can someone please explain the story
so basically there’s this girl and her name is honor (the blonde girl and yes that’s her name it’ll make sense) she’s the main character and she’s a straight A student. she’s graduating high school soon and really wants to go to Harvard which is like THE COLLEGE for straight A students. (i think the story is located at Massachusetts bc that’s where Harvard is at but anyway) she goes to her science class and she is partnered with this kid micheal (the guy honor kisses) and while their doin some science stuff they talk and laugh and all that stuff and eventually honor let’s this kid go to her house to study for this end of the year test. and a lot more happens but you just have to see the movie.
age rating: its is TVMA so 18+ but if ur under the age of 18 and are really mature enough you could probably watch this movie but you definitely have to have an adults permission to watch it
