Very scale looking, very scale flying, a turbine-driven plane with a turbine-driven pilot, flies and lands like an artillery shell.😘😜
This guy in our club had one of those little blue and white V1200 I think it is. If you've never flown one, you might want to review that thing. 150 mph!!!!! That is insane when you witness that kind of speed in person!! It looked like it was on rails, VERY amazing flight!!

This Alpha EDF really looks and sounds great Brian. Thanks for reviewing. If only my flying skills were up to it. I had an Airfix one of these as a kid. Naturally, as I'm from the UK, it got painted red like the equivalent Red Arrows Hawk though and not in French display or German Airforce colours. Was my 1st outing with enamel paint so you can imagine how good that was! 😧Would be lovely to see this alongside a similarly sized Red Arrows BAe Hawk and maybe a Thunderbirds F16 and/or Blue Angels F18. All display birds together! 😎👌

Nice, I actually saw 2 of these Fly at Oshkosh this Summer. It was part of Jared Isaacman's Polaris Jet Team that consisted of the 2 Alpha's, 2 L-39 Albatrosses and the only MIG-29 Flying in the USA today. Fun Fact: Isaacman purchased the MIG from the Late Paul Allen's Estate after he passed and Allen's "Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum" has since been purchased by Steuart Walton, the grandson of Walmart founder Sam Walton.

Turns about like the Sirius lol. Man Xfly is making some great Aircrafts. Even their "low tier/cheaper" ones have that same quality feel as their more expensive planes. Great flights tho Brian. Real happy to see you do this one! Can't wait to see the 80mm T-7A 😮

Looks great! Beautiful flight! The French fighter pilots'trainer, you also have the German version which is for ground attacks. Love the 'Patrouille de France', along with the British 'Red Arrows' and the Italian 'Frecce Tricolori '. Best flying demonstrations!

Looks like the Jet used in Hot Shots, although I believe that was an RAF Jet called the Gnat's
Man I want to see you build an Extreme Flight Balsa plane. You would have to do a ton of video footage on the build but they are next level planes. I just bought my first 2 gassers. One is a Hangar 9 Carbon Cub with 20cc Stinger and the other is the Extreme Flight 85" Gamebird with GP 61 motor. Love the videos, keep'em coming!!

Brian, your black winter gloves look good for rc. Can you share some information on your gloves?
I just got my first Xfly jet the T7A Redhawk, and so far I'm pretty impressed with it's build and fit n finish. I can't wait until the weather improves to get it out for it's maiden flight, but with single digit weather and below zero wind chill I think that I'll hold off on that for a bit.
Also Brian, if you want the best performance and quality battery pack for your edf jets you should look at acquiring the new SMC 6s 5300mah High Voltage High Cycle Life pack. Not only does it give you more power and flight times, but it's also lighter than most of the competition making your jets more nimble and maneuverable.
It's hard for an international youtuber to recommend a brand that is only available in one country.

My field is a little tight for jets and I also have issue losing orientation on jets. So my confidence level is not where it should be with jets versus prop planes.
I got the all grey one and I thought it was a gorgeous jet. However 2 things I didn't like about this jet. Even tho it has full flying stabs I just didn't like how it was only 1 servo that controlled both. I really wanted separate servos so I could enable tailerons (T7a 80mm fixed this) and I really didn't like how heavy this jet was. 2.3kg dry is quite alot when its got 2.6kg of thrust to propel it. I found it flies heavy and has high wing loading due to its small wings. The Futura is less than 2kg and has 2.7kg of thrust. It did handle bumpy grass landings and take offs tho. Sounds awesome too. That 2200kv could really benefit from a 120A esc. I can't wait for my T7A 80mm to arrive. I really do rate Xfly as a brand. Their Sirius is a great plane too. Open up the cheaters 100% and you'll gain 100g more thrust 👍🏾

I wonder if you have access to the light controller can you swap the leads for the strobes and constant LEDs to get strobing anti collision lights and solid nav lights?

Hey Brian, I hope you CC and kids are well. I just got my Alpha together but I can't get my flaps to work. I'm using my IX14. The flaps move on the monitor but not the plane. I'm stumped. Any ideas???

Yes! They help me keep dexterity while keeping the cold down SOME. I double them up when it's REALLY cold.
Lovely jet Brian I have bought a 64 mm kit version off Ali exspress im hoping it might fit a 70mm as I have a dr mad thrust edf if not I’ve got a xfly 64 mm that I’ll put in, this one is on my Xmas list but I recon Santa is thinking I’m a bad boy for the money I’ve spent over the year on other planes lol 😂, big salute 🫡 to you and Megan and have a great Christmas with your family, Gaza 🇬🇧 🫡🤘
Hi Brian, great videos! Do u know if the nx line are going to be discontinued? Thinking about getting the nx8, have to dx6g3 now.
They are the LATEST AND GREATEST as of now, less the more expensive IX14, which just happens to be newer, but the IX line is TECHNIALLY older than the NX ;)
NX is here for the long haul, but steer clear of the NX6!
