I had an alpha jet. I followed the manual for elevator throws. The manual said 9mm which is incorrect. At 9mm the model takes a huge turning radius, almost disappearing from eyesite at full throw of the stick leaving me in shock. . So my advice is, don't follow the manual. Although xfly denies this. I don't. Cause you will loose the model let alone hurting someone.
Love the video but I do not understand why you do not talk about or shown where the recommended CG is, and then show where you have it, - please do let me know if I am wrong here but CG is a fixed point on the aircraft and can be adjusted (give or take a few MM forward or back from that Point) this is regardless to what battery you use - depending what battery you DO use - the battery might need moving forward or aft within the battery bay so the aircraft balances at the recommended CG point, or replaced altogether for a lighter or heavier battery, after which (maybe a maiden and a few flights on ) one can play around with different battery sizes and move the CG slightly forward from Recommended (nose Heavy) or slightly back (Tail Heavy) and I do recommend only a few MM at most - as we all know a nose heavy aircraft will live to fly another day, this is not so true for a tail heavy aircraft (almost all of the time) its all to do with the CG location in MM back from the leading edge of the wing (at the wing root).. I guess as you only talk about the battery weight and where to put it - you have already done all of this, so would you mind if I ask , Please would you let me know your CG in MM or Inches from the Leading edge at the root... really would appreciate the info - so I do not have to do all the above once again thanks for the Video.. I am about to purchase one...

i think that alphajet is vey best EDF. the most powerful ever built in 80 mm. but if it fly loop in high speed . wing maybe damage.
It flys loops just fine
Can u handlàunch this jet
