the fact you told us where you got the shelves is really useful info that a lot of collectors don't say this video will help when I come to making my man cave thank you
Jayzuz. I just bought my 1st gaming pc, have several consoles, an absolutely awesome 1440p LG monitor, a budget 4K tv and a ton of games...and your collection absolutely dwarfs mine! I’ve specifically avoided this video because...I just knew I was gonna feel like AJ bragging about his house and then seeing someone with real $$ (or game room) just make me stop stupidly and stare at such a marvel. Hell yeah and kudos to you, Pam! Love the Normandy mini.
Man, everywhere I look people are making Sopranos references and giving me the urge to rewatch. My Normandy mini fell off a desk and broke :( I have a new game room tour planned soon-ish. The collection is a bit more modest now.
Awesome Tour Pam, very cool. I need to take notes on the editing equipment that you have. Thanks for letting everyone know about the book cases as well I need something affordable like that, it’s gets crazy between my game collections my trophies from years ago and my magic tricks that I use to perform with a lot of which I have in totes upon totes and can never seem to find anything when I’m looking for it.👍
Thanks for sharing! Pretty sure I saw the Terror Mask from the reboot of Splatterhouse, too. I know that you had to send away for this as a pre-order bonus, and proudly display one on my desk at work to freak out my boss. Very cool. And while I feel like a snoop here, on a side note, I also noticed the Gold Box edition of Twin Peaks, which is funny, because I've been rewatching this on my own Gold Box edition recently. Great show.
Looks great! I have cheap bookshelves from Walmart and they seem like those Ikea ones with wasted space. One solution I've found is that I cut some card stock stuff to fit inside the shelves and I stack my games with a strip of the card stock in between so they can be displayed and removed without them falling over or anything. It's not perfect but works pretty good I think.
I was waiting to hear you say steel battalion when you went over your collection. That is one of the most impressive and immersive games I have ever played and for whatever reason, no one talks about it.
The shelf in your living room is the IKEA Bestå bookcase. They're perfect for DVDs, Blu-rays, CDs, all types of games, paperbacks, etc. They're the perfect depth too and they sold extra shelves relatively cheaply. Unfortunately, they discontinued them.
That's so frustrating! Why would they discontinue a shelf that's so perfect for media storage? They seem to be focused on the Billy now, which is far too large.
I know, it sucks. Probably because most people are getting away from keeping physical media...blah! You might be able to find some on craigslist or something like that. That's definitely the model name though. I went and bought a few when I heard they were discontinuing them a few years ago.
Now this is a collection, it's focused and has meaning. It's not a cluttered mess of games that were most likely bought just because, just like other collectors here on TH-cam who have over 5k games but 80% of it are games that the person would have never bought in the first place, I mean is there a reason why they have that many, are they going for a complete set. I understand the collections of John Hancock, Jason Wilson and Joel Hopkins, they want complete sets of everything. Some of these other collectors look lost with no purpose, most likely buying games just to beef up the size of their collection and show it off like if people give a shit, seriously why is this a thing, the size of your collection should come naturally over time and consist of games that you want and have played. Also that Saturn set is beautiful, all you need now is a Saturn kiosk.
Kallax shelves are amazing for consoles. I just bought one myself and they get enough air for their fans plus they look like they are on display which is very sharp.
Good idea having two TV's, You HAVE to have a CRT TV but people I know in person look at me crazy when I say that. Great room. And thanks for explaining your shelves because I think the first video I saw of yours was like a Sega collection and I asked about your shelves, probably the one you forgot where you got it. Props for the Sopranos Box Sets too, if they're yours you got good taste!
It's so nice to have a separate game room. I like how the loose gameboy games are displayed and that chair looks comfy. And you got an NES mini! Wow, they're still no where to be found here. I've always liked game room tours, mainly to get ideas. And I'm very interested in those IKEA shelves.; I've been needing new ones for a while and at only $40 that's tempting.
Hey Duke, thanks for watching. I really like the gameboy displays as well, I'm glad we got the idea from My Life in Gaming. Will lined up outside of Best Buy for the Mini the morning they came out.
Lots of dusting needed there, praise the Lord for technology as most of my collection are now saved onto a cloud. I sold most of my games online just held onto a rare expensive few plus sentimental faves like FF7, Tenchu, Onimusha & Resi series. Just found your channel, can't believe I've just binge watched the last 2 hours away in work. Should have an option to donate as I'd happily spend £5 a month keeping you afloat. Wouldn't feel guilty about requesting reviews, ta-ra.
Recently found your channel, and it's definitely good stuff. Sega Saturn is definitely my favorite system, and I could go on for ages about it. Framemeister is a great choice for your video setup. I don't have one anymore, but it was a great machine with the only annoyances being minor input lag and some picture noise when displaying certain colors. I recently picked up the OSSC (Open Source Scan Converter) online, and look forward to seeing how it performs on my HDTVs. Anyway, keep up the good work!
Hey thanks! My biggest annoyance with the Framemeister right now is that it doesn't handle resolution changes very well. Playing something like Silent Hill causes the picture to drop for a few seconds anytime the menu to map is opened and closed.
Agreed, I did find the resolution changes on the framemeister to be a little annoying, but I found the input lag and picture noise to be the standout problems. still, its probably the most convenient way to upscale and mostly looks great. ill definitely let you know how the OSSC turns out. it's supposed to be pretty killer. Anyway, keep up the great work! I would love to see more Saturn/Dreamcast game reviews
pretty cool game room, Pam! I actually make my own shelves when it comes to games, books and movies. I also dig the Turrican and Monkey Island music playing in the background.
:O! This is my dream! I'm so jelly! I have quite a lot of retro games, but due to my transient lifestyle, so many of them are just stashed in boxes. T^T I look forward to the day when I can organize everything I have in a room for display.
I enjoyed this video. The music was fun and added pace. I love that Saturn collection. It is beautiful. I'm trying to follow Fryda's rule of no adverbs and adjectives. It is difficult. Good job!
That does sound difficult. I think. The names of the parts of speech is one of those elementary school lessons that never really sunk in for me. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Awesome Saturn collection. Its always been my fav console since i was a kid. I currently have 188 of the 240 PAL collection. Hope to complete my set like you have =)
super cool! love these kind of videos. ive been inspired to start collecting sega. mostly genesis, cd, master system, 32x. ive created a somewhat large list of games i plan to get. my collection may never look like much but itll look neat i bet when its near complete. until then ive just began!
Planescape: Torment and Leisure Suit Larry...impeccable taste. As far as the shelves...masking tape and the right sized drill bit would fix the height. Well, obviously, you'd need a drill as well.
I'm quite impressed Pam makes my game room look like Dog poop lol also kudos to having a signed copy of silent service I actually remember playing that back in the day!
Great setup, Pam! I'm just finally getting things set up in our new house, and we moved back in February. Love your channel and had a question for you/possible video idea. How do or do you plan out what you are going to play/re-play? I have a modest sized collection (around 300-400 games across 10 or so consoles) and it seems like it is much easier for me to accumulate more stuff than it is to play through it. I generally try to finish most games as long as I enjoy them, but sometimes I don't know what to play or where to start to get through my backlog. Do you ever feel overwhelmed by your collection? Any advice on how you've balanced growing and playing your collection?
I don't really have a plan for playing games. My collection is mostly made up of things I've already played, my BF is the one who likes full sets of things (which I think is silly). Making videos does make me discover new things though. A lot of the reviews I do are of games I had never played before.
Eight year old me would propose to you on the spot after seeing that collection. And want to spend the honeymoon in that room alone. And probably ask mum how much a flight to Canada costs. I wonder if your game room has the desctinct smell of a game store. Like VHS tapes those unique plastic scents always triggered fond memories of nostalgia for me.
Holy freaking crap. You guys have a lot of disposable free time yes? The true joys of materialism. Amazing collection. You even have the Steel Battalion controls, unreal. What do you think it's all worth? Hahaha, Leisure Suit Larry big box? Lol. I had the original boxes for the first three Larry games. Good stuff.
I don't know what the whole thing is worth, though Steel Battalion just got traded away. I used to have the full box set of Lesuire Suit Larry 1-7. I'd like to get that one back.
Your collection is really impressive Pam! The most interesting Saturn games are Japanese imports, games like Radiant Silvergun, Hyper Duel and X-Men vs. Street Fighter. Neo Geo AES games are also a very good investment :)
I loved how brilliant is to see your collection. I collect mainly retro so I hoped to see more Snes games on your room, don't you like much Snes? For me it will always be the best console, but games are really expensive here in Argentina.
Nice and Amazing Collection Pam looks like a 1st and 2nd & 3rd Generation Gaming consoles Thumps up Great job keeping it and thanks for the explanation for some of the games which i find it Great its sad only my career are Atari - nintendo - PC - Sega genesis - Play Station - PS2 - Xbox360 - Play Station 3.
Nice Stuff. I have the xena box dvd same as yours, i actually visited New Zealand back in 2011 in some of The film locations. Awesome Phantasmagoria box , i have only the discs, trying to find the big box, great video , congrats
That's cool, I'd love to go to New Zealand. I haven't even opened the season 6 box, I have a thing about not watching the final seasons of shows I love.
Cannot be Tamed Yeah tell me about it, Xena is One of my favorite Tv shows ever, and The finale it's Hard to Watch, very powerful and emotional , keep on the great Work on your channel 👏👏
Hey Pam, finally getting a chance to check out the channel and thought I'd start here. awesome collection and I like it's so spaced out. looking forward to watching more vids. I also 2nd or 3rd (ect) seeing more Saturn stuff. Have one myself but only a few games for it, always looking for recommendations. Keep it up. PS- Let's see your feet. ... Jkjk
I am so jealous of your collection, Pam. I wish I had even a quarter of that many games. Then again, I may never leave the house and invest in a social life.
Well, Pam. I'm kinda going through the samea thing. I am spending most of the time playing Final Fantasy XII for the first time and learning to play the latest Killer Instinct game. I know you aren't into fighters but..it's a fun one. Still wish I had some of your stuff. Maybe going to a few cons might change that
I thought of dedicating one whole room to videogames too, but I don't know, it seems like a waste of space or maybe I'm getting older. Anyway, yours is amazing, that couch looks really comfortable for playing.
Very awesome collection!!
I'm completly jealous of the saturn collection.
Saturn is still my favorite console till this day.
the fact you told us where you got the shelves is really useful info that a lot of collectors don't say this video will help when I come to making my man cave thank you
You're welcome, I always find that's good information
I hear Monkey Island music. It's PERFECT for game room tour videos, dang.
Right?! I heard the cover and knew I had to use it.
Good spot.
THANK YOU!!!! I was going bonkers trying to place it.
Man, everywhere I look people are making Sopranos references and giving me the urge to rewatch. My Normandy mini fell off a desk and broke :( I have a new game room tour planned soon-ish. The collection is a bit more modest now.
I absolutely love your Saturn collection
Nice touch on the icp action figure and awesome collection of complete Sega Saturn. My god the price of that collection is out of this world now.

Great show.
I loved most of Twin Peaks. Season 1 was great. I wasn't able to get into this new season they put out at all though.
I don't have any real affinity for the Saturn, but those games display beautifully.
Neither do I :P
The Saturn collection brought a smile to my face. :)
The items are so neatly lined up. I’m inspired. For my books, I have shelves with doors which really limit the dust, however great set-up.
The shelf in your living room is the IKEA Bestå bookcase. They're perfect for DVDs, Blu-rays, CDs, all types of games, paperbacks, etc. They're the perfect depth too and they sold extra shelves relatively cheaply. Unfortunately, they discontinued them.

Amazing!
Do a montage for your full Sega Saturn collection
That's a good idea
Great!! TY . Saturn does not get enough love. Nice collection of games there.
I can't even offer a single criticism. That is now my dream setup. All hail the Kallax!
Also that Saturn set is beautiful, all you need now is a Saturn kiosk.
I think there's still a fair amount of junk in my collection.
Sell them and buy the games you want, it's what I'm currently doing
I love how you say "this is where they live". Lol you give them importance through grammar.
You have the coolest setup. The two of you are quite the accomplished collectors :)
Thanks!
Kallax shelves are amazing for consoles. I just bought one myself and they get enough air for their fans plus they look like they are on display which is very sharp.

Props for the Sopranos Box Sets too, if they're yours you got good taste!
Thanks! The Sopranos box sets are mine, I just started rewatching the series a week or two ago.
Nice set up. Very organised. "Professional" looking. You put a lot of thought into it.

Very impressed super clean and organized. I can tell you guys are the real deal especially with the framemeister and sony crt, nice!
Thanks!
You...are...dedicated! This is so much work to do. Well done.
There are a lot less games now (though still a fair amount). Glad you've liked the videos!

So cool to see such a huge Sega Saturn game collection.
Great stuffs
That Saturn collection is D-O-P-E
pretty cool game room, Pam! I actually make my own shelves when it comes to games, books and movies. I also dig the Turrican and Monkey Island music playing in the background.
+The Rebel of Gaming thanks! I'd love custom built shelves in here.
This totally reminds me of my NES cartridges collection in two shoeboxes I used to have ;-)
Very nice looking room with a ton of cool stuff. I wish I could keep things as well-organized and clutter free as you do. Also, your dog is adorable.
Thank you! This ends up being the neatest room in the house.
Just found your channel by chance, so happy I did. Great videos. Sweet gameroom. Keep up the great work and thank you.
Welcome!
:O!
This is my dream! I'm so jelly! I have quite a lot of retro games, but due to my transient lifestyle, so many of them are just stashed in boxes. T^T I look forward to the day when I can organize everything I have in a room for display.
Thank you! It is nice to have it all set up in one place (for the most part) now.
Wow....and I thought I had a big Sega Saturn collection. You rock!
So cool the way you have the Game Boy games displayed!
Thanks!
Hope to complete my set like you have =)
Nice!
Wow, lots of Saturn! I have those same shelves. They definitely aren't great for the reasons you stated. Overall, great set up!
Chappelle's Show, Firefly, The Wire and Babylon 5 all in the same movie collection. That's it. Your taste is beyond reproach!
Thanks!
super cool! love these kind of videos. ive been inspired to start collecting sega. mostly genesis, cd, master system, 32x. ive created a somewhat large list of games i plan to get. my collection may never look like much but itll look neat i bet when its near complete. until then ive just began!
Good luck with it! I'd like to pick up more Sega CD games.
I really like those finby shelves actually. Looks neat to have your (amazing) Saturn collection and that smaller row of ps1 games break them up a bit.
Sopranos, Firefly, THE WIRE... I like your style!!
That gaming room is awesome! Thanks for sharing.
+Matthew Galardi no problem!
Awesome set up I wish my Saturn collection could be as great as yours, awesome stuff keep up the good work!
Nice looking curated Genesis collection.
Holy Shit, total street cred......Saturn Drooling. IKEA totally knows that you need to buy extra units, those beautiful bastards!
That crystal Xbox! Excellent taste in general lines.
Awesome collection. Fantastic looking pup as well!
Thank you :)
No Neo Geo? Always pleasant to see what passionate people can achieve. Very nice collection, very well organized. Congratulations !
There's a Neo Geo now.
Wow, so many games. Excellent.
Big up the Saturn magnificent system. That is one beautiful/ cute doggy you got there. Nice video thanks
Planescape: Torment and Leisure Suit Larry...impeccable taste.
As far as the shelves...masking tape and the right sized drill bit would fix the height. Well, obviously, you'd need a drill as well.
Yeah, I don't have one.
I'm quite impressed Pam makes my game room look like Dog poop lol also kudos to having a signed copy of silent service I actually remember playing that back in the day!
Thanks!
Cannot be Tamed have you ever played Rescue the embassy mission on Nes ? It's a sniper game
More than 1000?! That's awesome!
So jealous of your Saturn collection. Great video!
Thanks!
Nice gaming setup and very impressive Saturn collection. I'm also not a fan of the funko pops lol I'm assuming those are Will's?
Yes, they are Will's. Now that he has most of the games he wants, he's moved on to those
Very nice collection Pam. I would love to see you cover your Saturn games. Wondering why you have so many Funcos if you hate them?
Because my boyfriend buys them and relationships are about compromise (but I retain my right to snark about it :)
Hahahaha that seems fair!
Monkey Island music ? 🤔 What a fantastic set up you've got there 😆 All my old consoles in the loft wish I had space to have them all out like this..
Wonderful game room, a hug from Brazil
Thanks!
*jams out to the Turrican II melody*
You have a very nice apartment. Thanks for the video it gave me some ideas for my own game room.
Love the Banjo Guy Ollie soundtrack!
+HeyIAmNotHiggins he makes great stuff
Great collection, You made a great job with the game room.
Thanks!
Nice setup and cool collection
Thanks!
You are really good at making these videos.
Thanks!
A lot of the reviews I do are of games I had never played before.
je ne comprends pas l'anglais mais quel collection hallucinante !!!! magnifique !
Merci beaucoup!
Such a neatly organized gameroom. Mine always looks like a dumping ground as I am constantly having to clean and test stuff.
+Canadian Retro so far the game room is the tidiest room in the apartment.
Spotted MGS Essentials Collection, nice. Still my favorite trilogy.
I still haven't played it >
Holy freaking crap.
Great setup! I'm far too lazy to make everything look that nice and neat.
Thanks!
Your collection is really impressive Pam!
The most interesting Saturn games are Japanese imports, games like Radiant Silvergun, Hyper Duel and X-Men vs. Street Fighter. Neo Geo AES games are also a very good investment :)
I need shelving like that. well organized
Very awesome collection.👍🏽
I loved how brilliant is to see your collection. I collect mainly retro so I hoped to see more Snes games on your room, don't you like much Snes? For me it will always be the best console, but games are really expensive here in Argentina.
I never had a SNES as a kid, so it's not one I've ever been too interested in.
That's a lovely game collection.
thats cool i have that same sony tv i keep for my retro collection as well 👍
Nice and Amazing Collection Pam looks like a 1st and 2nd & 3rd Generation Gaming consoles Thumps up Great job keeping it and thanks for the explanation for some of the games which i find it Great its sad only my career are Atari - nintendo - PC - Sega genesis - Play Station - PS2 - Xbox360 - Play Station 3.
Amazing job Pam 🙂.
That is an awesome setup! I just redid my setup on my channel, your game collection is amazing.
Thanks!
Nice Wu Tang pillow! Also that big Contra box looks cool, whatever it may contain exactly.
+Breez E it's a figure in the box
Wow that's games! Amazing!
Such a great collection 👌👌👌
Wow, Pam! Ya got a lot of stuff, but so do I. My stuff is swords and guitars though, instead of games.
Nice set up, looks great.
Thanks!
Very cool game room! I see you are a fellow Sopranos addict.
Yes, one of my favourite shows
OMG! A A big fan of saturn. This is beautiful!
Awesome collection you got there!

My mother would be jealous of that Xena collection.
Love u guys saturn collection!
Keep it up.
PS- Let's see your feet. ... Jkjk
Thanks! Unfortunately, the Saturn set is no more. Will sold it.
I am so jealous of your collection, Pam. I wish I had even a quarter of that many games. Then again, I may never leave the house and invest in a social life.
It is a lot of games. Too many to play, really. Especially when I play half my gaming time right now playing Overwatch :(
Well, before we had all the games jammed into the living room. Now I get an adult living room + games.
cool little look.
a massive collection awesome
