Strong contender for best budget whiskey. Also keep an eye out for stores that have this new bottle marked as the old black label. Caught one in Michigan for 19.99
I managed to secure the last bottle on the shelf ($20.00) It's outstanding for the price. A budget 90 worthy of sipping (and actually enjoying.) IMO it stands up well to WT101. (I want more of this!) I too believe that had this been a new 100 proof release it may have shattered the bourbon world. But I'm satisfied with it as is, no complaints.
Head scratcher. I just bought my bottle and it is a total dud. Neat reminded me of a smooth sipping non-peated scotch. Mostly tasteless and uninteresting. No finish, none. Devil's cut may be a bit rough but at least something is going on with it. I will try it for mixing next or use it for making chili.
I would be a lot more exited about this if they had raised the proof to 100 instead of 90. I'm going to give it a shot anyway though. I stopped buying Booker's when the price went from $75 to over $100. I'd rather grab a JB SiB or a Knob Creek store pick. I am DONE with these overpriced bottles.
I'll have to see if this has dropped yet in my area. Evan Williams single barrel has reappeared outside of Kentucky again recently, I picked up two bottles last weekend. I love Knob Creek, so I would imagine I'll probably like this just fine. Strangely enough, I don't get any peanut notes from Beam products but I pick them up in Wild Turkey products. I'll have to see about this one when I can get a bottle of it. The quality of Booker's declining is real, I think that might be why they are doing that 2024 The Reserves Booker's release. Trying to breathe some life back into that label. Hopefully it goes well, even though I'll unlikely ever see a bottle of it. Something about an Old Grand-Dad 16 also? Idk as much about that though.
I just found out about the OGD 16yr. msrp should be 149.99 is what I'm seeing. I would love to have it, but the chance of that happening is very very low....lol

I'll keep an eye out for that. Awesome Tip!! Thank you
Thanks for the support and comment. CHEERS
These are the bottles I like to see. I hope they can maintain the quality in the long run. This one is on my buy list.
It's truly hard for me to think of another twenty seven dollar bottle that hits like this.
Love finding those banger budget bourbons! Will definitely be picking one up! 🥃
I found this 750ml for $19.99 in Maryland. Pretty damn good especially at that price! 👍🏼
Very nice

It's amazing for the price. I'm going to blind it against Early times bib for a video soon.

I’m hoping they release this in Oregon soon. Sounds like a hitter.

I wonder if the mash bill is the same as bookers
As would I. I'm going to do some digging and see what I can find out.
It’s the regular Beam mashbill.
