Yes, that's been where I would ride in the summer. We used to camp at Mud Creek on the Strawberry side a lot. Ride from there to so many different areas, diamond fork, the great western trail, the ridge trail, tibble creek, hobble . I would go explore all day, riding solo like you. Using paper maps. Love that part of the mountains. I haven't been able to get up there for too long! Sometimes life gets in the way of riding. Been wanting to switch from 4 stroke to 2 stroke, just haven't found the right deal yet. Hopefully that will get me out exploring again. Last 5-6 years I got into dual sport big bike rides with a GS1200 adv. So more pavement than dirt. Your videos are getting me motivated to get back to my roots and into the dirt again with a street legal dirt bike.
I like your style, my kind of trails. I live in Utah and have been hearing how great the riding is in Idaho. Some day soon I need to get up there and check it out. Thanks for sharing, now I have some ideas where to go and what to expect.
Wow thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate that and ya takin the time to watch! I try to make em like the ones I enjoy watching. And yea add Idaho to your list. We skipped Utah this summer but the past 3 have spend a few days in Diamond Fork/Strawberry Ridge area. I was shocked what a contrast it was from Moab. Have you ever ridden there? th-cam.com/video/9FKjAG1e4N8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=M53y2prhjJMBFGY1
@@dznnf7 I would only guess that those erosion sections got worse as the summer use increased. But I honestly enjoy that part of the game. Makes me feel alive. Thanks for watchin!
If you go straight at the big wood sign at Big Smokey and take Big Smokey trail all the way to mule creek and hang a left that will run you all the way back to that wooden sign on Paradise! I think thats one heck of a circle. If you go right on Mule creek, you can run that all the way up to Sawmill City and Smiley Lodge, a super cool place. Also while you're up that way you can check out sawmill station. That far north, you're not far from Stanley!! I want to go back and go to Ross forks right up above the mine of my buddys. They say there is some dang good fishing in Ross Fork Lakes!!!
@@PSBEadventures love the suggestion. My boss might not cause I’ll spend half my day studying the maps today. Always appreciate it pal, thanks for watching!
