Absolutely magical 45 minutes!!! Bharathiraja sir was an absolute delight, with his lovely insights into his own thoughts and craft, and his terrific memory w.r.t minutest details! And lovely heartfelt questions from our man Baddie.... this is the first interview where I remember him being in such a REVERENT mode...speaks to the sheer stature of the guest I guess!
BR your passion for cinema and how you respect excellence in that field I feel is what creates magic in your interviews. In addition I notice and appreciate your ability to listen completely. Keep them coming. The way Bharathiraja potrayed love in Mudalmariyadhai between Sivaji Sir and Radha to me is one of the best depictions of love in Tamil Cinema. That film as a whole is one of my all time favourites.

They are highly skilled directors and considered living legends. It would be fascinating to hear Baddy's perspective and gather information from them. This happens, I truly appreciate it, and I hope to see an interview with Bhagyaraj soon as well.

In Tamil song picturisation Barathiraja is a king. This man gives credit to all the artists, huge respect and his love for the art of filmatking is ever young and enjoyable to watch. His advice to people to make effort to love themselves first and appreciate their stay in this brief moment of life was just great.

The biggest worry is....Bharthiraja who was once(even now) the greatest director after Balachander, has now started to appreciate and praise very normal/average/poor movies (blue sattai's movie for example)...He should maintain his dignity...

Started getting uncomfortable when the the 'great' director kept saying 'figure' and thought I should give him the benefit of age, I mean he is ancient and probably doesn't understand that it is disrespectful. And then lol, they start casually and elaborately discussing the 'genius' of the known sexual molestor and abuser. Had to stop watching. Now I'm not even sure if I can stomach watching another interview by Baradwaj for a while now. Its not okay.

You can also watch hemamalini yugendran and Rehana’s ( ARR sister) interview admitting that he’s such a man! It’s ridiculous that chinmayi had to go through torment for coming out later on and not then and there but a man named by so many women just walks Scott free! Only because of his political connections .. It’s just sad..
