I expected the same... Nalan Handles Dark Comedy very well... It can be seen in his Short Films also... At this time when u get to see either love or thriller based short films, his short films are of totally different genre... Remember, that to 10 yrs back...

I have never watched a 45 min video in full.. But this man Thiyagharajan has made me watch it fully.. Requesting all to watch it in theatres to make this commercially successful. He is the best director of our time and really stands out of all.

Despite everyone thinking, T.K is being very modest. I truly belive that, he is one of those laid back souls, who realizes that his energy is finite, so as to utilize it extensively, only when it's needed. But when he comes through, what ever the body of work he puts out, truly becomes a masterpiece.
Thiagarajan Kumararaja, Vetri Maran, Karthik Subbaraj, Lokesh Kanagaraj... are the future of Tamil cinema for next 10 years. Proud of you guys that you came from Tamil Nadu !!

This combined Writers is not new, Netflix,HBO, Amazon Prime when they produce tv series they do this. We call this Director’s room. This is a collaborative work to get Super structure up and then sub structures follow.
Script was ready before 2015 floods. Movie gets released in 2019. I've been thinking, is itSo tremendous and tiring is film making (in Tamil) ?? With that thought. Best wishes guys

I'm a telugu movie buff usually am crazy about any regional film recently I had came to know about Mr. Thiyagarajan kumararaja's aaranya kaandam it was suggested by a friend and I went crazy after watching it I was hooked by opening itself the quotation about dharma, definitely super delux is going to be a game changer in Indian cinema and I'm turned as his fan overnight... All the best!

This interview should have been done 2 or 3 weeks after movie release, talking about story so we can relate and more interesting.
Great conversation, Brangan. But if there's one feedback then it's that Thiagarajan should have shown you whatever version of the movie before this chat. It would have made the conversation, questions and nuance so much more interesting.
