They sound EXACTLY like this in PERSON- I have seen them LIVE 5 times...and they are outside, as you can see the frost coming from Tim's mouth.....they are the nicest and funniest guys too! Great to ALL FANS!
Tim does Your Man from Josh Turner and there's a video of him blowing a speaker with his bass. End of the Road is a great cover or Helplessly Hoping and In the blood are my personal favorites Tim was trained as a tenor and then was a late bloomer and then trained as bass , he says he still writes mostly tenor music
Would you please react to" Land of the Free" written by Tim, it's really cool! Also When a Man Loves a Woman ft Austin Hillbilly Bone Blue Ain't Your Color Your Man live in concert, Tim blows out the speakers! Mayday, a little surprise for you from Tim! Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On, Ed Sheeran and Marvin Gaye cover. In the Blood, John Mayer cover Adam Rupp Live Solo from 2018(?) 2015/16 is really good, but he has gotten so much better as the years go on. AUSTIN BROWN on his channel Let's Stay Together Al Green cover( austinbrownmusic.com)
As soon as he said that I checked to see if he had reacted to “All About That Bass” 😂😂. I think of all the older HF videos it is one of my favorites because Adam and Chris are so funny in it. And yes I will happily admit I have laughed so hard I cried watching the All About That Bass Gag Reel. 🤣🤣🤣
I couldn't wait to see your face with Tim's final note! you didn't disappoint!!! they do a version of the Christmas song "oh Holy night" that I always cry through...amazing
A commenter on another reaction video gave a great description of these two phenomenal basses: "Avi's voice makes you melt, and Tim's voice sets you on fire."
Tim has blown out speakers doing Your Man live, it's hilarious. He has also been known to give Austin a bass ride on a speaker and dropped ceiling tiles in concert venues.
I know you meant it as a punny line, but Home Free actually covered "All About that Bass" as one of their first videos after this one. It shows a bit of their humorous side :)
I want you to now imagine that note and you are sitting in one of those massage chairs and it is on it's highest setting and that is what it's like to be next to the sub at a concert of theirs.
Basses have a better possibility of developing a wider range than tenors, because basically there is more to work with. They have nice thick vocal cords/folds, and if they work diligently (like the top three have) they can get far into the tenor sphere. it's amazing.
Since you mentioned it, Home Free has a cover of All About That Bass that'll crack you up! Hillbilly Bone is awesome too! Helplessly Hoping is way too short, but so beautifully haunting. Their 9 to 5 LIVE video shows how each member helps at times in beatboxing sound effects. Elvira with the Oak Ridge Boys is phenomenal, as are Children Go Where I Send Thee with Kenny Rogers, and God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood and the Airforce band. Make sure you get that version! They're all good, but my opinion is that one's my favorite version. For a song with a strong message, try Everybody Walkin this Land! I know I'm not alone, we Home Fries love nothing more than to watch new people fall in love with Home Free! We love seeing you react to things we've seen 100 times before, the guys are just that special. Thank you for another great reaction! ❤
If you want a fun song by Home Free watch all about that bass, and if you want to hear Tim sing in his high voice, listen to May Day. and in Mayday Chance drops an awesome bass section!. Oh and there is a live concert of Home Free where one of Tim's low notes blows the speaker!
Just so you know, if you listen to them live, Tim's voice will make your entire body literally vibrate. He's also blown a speaker during a show at least once. 🤣
Yes they did Your Man.... But there is one live version out there well Tim busted the sound system at Morrison I think I have it on my page under Home Free live
I'm telling you, you have to see their performances on "The Sing Off" WITH the judge's reaction. For me, the best were Ring of Fire, Colder Weather, and the mashup of I'm Alright with Filharmonic, which was hilarious. Not saying you should react to it on your channel. Just that you gotta see and hear it.
Just ran across this channel. Adding it to my list. Love HomeFree and reactions to them! I think their voices are great in “Moonshine” and “My Church”. Those songs will stick in my head all day. It’s been fun finding review channels and going on the vocal band experience. Look forward to seeing what else you are about :)
TY! My son thought me looney when describing Avi, Tim and Geoff's voices... Avi is smooth/soulful, Tim is full of grit and Geoff's is just plain teasing... I can never choose a fav... sending this reaction to my son!
I have seen them in concert twice once sitting on the floor about 15 rows from the front and the second time in the balcony and both times Tim hit the low notes at the end I could feel it all through my body.
Warm chocolate. Avi's voice is smooth warm chocolate. None of the gravel of the other low basses. I could just sleep in it.(Now there's an interesting mental picture.)
I've somehow never heard of these guys before either! This is definitely a fun version of Ring of Fire....much more light hearted. Watching you enjoy their range was fun 😄
Great reaction! There are some mentioning watching them on The Sing Off.....Home Free Sing Off All Performances With Judges.....will get you there. It really is fun. Just up to you. Thanks so much.
Hi from Denmark that last note from Tim was a G1 and what´s amaing about it is that he held it for 13 seconds . If you are going to do HF´s cover of Josh Turner´s -- your man . PLEASE do the concert version from the crazy life tour , see you in the next upload
There is a tremendous cover of "Your Man" live, in fact there are several. But one special one where they do a little extra !!!! I will try to find it and pass it along, so very funny !!!! I am following along on your Home Free journey, I know you will enjoy. They have such a diverse catalogue of music it is hard to just pick one, LOL. Something for everyone, something hilarious, something funny or sad, they have it all. Whatever you are looking for on that special day, they have it !!
Avi Kaplan also makes a cameo in the Home Free video 'Champagne Taste On a Beer Budget" (written by Tim Foust); if you want your mind blown, try watching "When a Man Loves A Woman" - Austin Brown (the high tenor) spent years in college (on a full music scholarship) trying to nullify his Georgia accent - when he joined Home Free, they told him to stop trying . . .
They do Your Man but you need to watch the live version.. It's not only good but you can see how much fun they have doing it. I'd send a link but haven't figured out how to do that one. Maybe somebody else will send you the link. Love Home Free......great reaction.
HF did this song on the Sing Off. Tim did that last note so low that you can't hear it if you don't have headphones on. Just love it. My favourite. Check out their channel, but I can tell you you have more than a hundred songs to go. Plus live performances. And ALL of them great.
Hillbilly Bone is another bass heavy song. Tim has the lead and Chance holds down the bass line. The last note by Tim is an F#1. In the Sing Off version he went down a half-tone to F1. As others have already said, Your Man is good, both official music video and live versions. The Sea Shanty Medley also showcases Tim's bass talents. Great reaction, it's fun to see someone who knows music react to how good they are. Keep on keepin' on, man!
The original version on the sing off is definitely worth a watch, Tim singing all the line avi is singing and gets a different experience. Thier version of your man is a must watch
That last note from Tim was a G1, which is only 3 semitones from the low E on a bass, lol. And, his lowest recorded note is a B0; the lowest note on a 5 or 6 string bass. The dude is a walking bass guitar.
Great reaction! I'm really enjoying your Homefree journey! Everybody in this video is so talented! Avi is amazing and Homefree is phenomenal. To hear Homefree's harmonies check out their cover of John Mayers "In the Blood" or their original " Catch me if you can". So many to choose from. The one you pick will not disappoint, no matter which one it is. Thank you for your reaction!
And that's done a half-step lower than this version, so Tim ends on an F#1 instead of a G1. (And Jewel, the judge, correctly identifies it. apparently she has perfect pitch.)
Actually, they are outdoors. Chris Rupp has a behind the scenes of this on his TH-cam channel and he said they had to really feed the fire to get it going so they'd have light because all they had were the headlights and it wasn't enough. Pretty wild.
Loved it and just to make your day but yes they did do your man josh turner and yes that should be the next one for sure but watch there live concert version you will understand why
Home Free is great and almost any song they sing would be great for reacting to. Two of my favorites are “How Great Thou Art” and “Your Man” both versions!
Ok, just looked up Tim Foust’s version of Your Man. Try Home Free Concert, Morrison, IL 8/9/15. There is a lot of concert here, but you get to hear Tim blow the speakers. In Home Free’s Tim Foust Your Man to Perfection, you’ll hear Tim’s low and high range. Both available on TH-cam. Look up Home Free Your Man. Enjoy it!!
Hahaha yeah that’s Tim for ya. He hits a G#1 and holds it for what? 10-13 seconds??? Also when they sing this song on the Sing Off Tim goes lower. You can see those videos on youtube. The live version while they’re touring of Your Man is great. He’s blown speakers on that one. Try Folsom Prison Blues - you’ll like that one and it shows off Chance’s bass too. And Avi sounds great. Tim and Avi are friends. Great reaction!
My favorite Home Free cover is Helplessly Hoping, the blending of voices is so precise that at one point, it sounds like only 1 voice and the bass is phenomenal, please check it out.
Yes, Home Free does “your man” by Josh Turner. I will see if I can’t find the live concert they did where you can see Tim’s high range, followed by him blowing a speaker with the low range. About 1 minute apart…
They sound EXACTLY like this in PERSON- I have seen them LIVE 5 times...and they are outside, as you can see the frost coming from Tim's mouth.....they are the nicest and funniest guys too! Great to ALL FANS!
"in the Blood". Home Free.
Tim does Your Man from Josh Turner and there's a video of him blowing a speaker with his bass. End of the Road is a great cover or Helplessly Hoping and In the blood are my personal favorites
Tim was trained as a tenor and then was a late bloomer and then trained as bass , he says he still writes mostly tenor music
They did a cover of All About that Bass….it’s pretty great
Yeah, that's what I thought instantly too
Ditto!
Is it great minds think alike or dangerous minds think alike 😏😏😏 😂😂
Would you please react to" Land of the Free" written by Tim, it's really cool! Also
When a Man Loves a Woman ft Austin

Yes 7seconds up and I am on #homefries
Tim is a Texas boy, that's where that twang comes from.😎😎😎😎
Listen to Folsom Prison Blues...Tim Foust has a bottomless voice...
That man can rattle the speakers with his low notes! I'm a dedicated Home Fry! Lol
He has also been known to give Austin a bass ride on a speaker and dropped ceiling tiles in concert venues.
i love watching u do these reactions you make me giggle... u has a pure innocent sense of humor.....lol ty so much for this reaction...
TIM HAD THE LAST NOTES. HE LITERALLY BURST SPEAKERS AT EVERY CONCERT!
Folsom Prison Blues, Butts Remix, Sea Shanty, Mayday cover, Take Me Home Country Roads all amazing!
I know you meant it as a punny line, but Home Free actually covered "All About that Bass" as one of their first videos after this one. It shows a bit of their humorous side :)
I just love your face when he dropped that note and held it.
I want you to now imagine that note and you are sitting in one of those massage chairs and it is on it's highest setting and that is what it's like to be next to the sub at a concert of theirs.
Well Tim got you again with the low note at the end 😂😂😂 Just like Misty Mountains Cold 👍👍👍🍻😀
Your journey has only begun Padawon.
All about the bass, Folsom Prison Blues, Your man, Ses shanty medley
I love your passion and understanding of how wondrous they are.
Basses have a better possibility of developing a wider range than tenors, because basically there is more to work with. They have nice thick vocal cords/folds, and if they work diligently (like the top three have) they can get far into the tenor sphere. it's amazing.

Please do their live version of Tim singing "Your Man"
Loved the look on your face when Tim hit and held that last note.
You should just do their version of All About That Bass as well as their cover of Your Man. Problem solved! lol
Everything these guys do is just outstanding!!!! Tim has the best bass in the world. These guys are just perfect together. Best there is.
Yes they did Your Man.... But there is one live version out there well Tim busted the sound system at Morrison I think I have it on my page under Home Free live
Home Free ft. Don McLean with a cover of McLean's American Pie for the song's 50th anniversary...AWESOME!
Tim hits a G1 there at the end and holds it 13 seconds :) Do an original next, DIVE BAR SAINTS is an awesome original
G#1
I'm telling you, you have to see their performances on "The Sing Off" WITH the judge's reaction. I personally like Ring of Fire from Sing Off better because it shows their range more
In the Sing Off version of “Ring of Fire,” Tim goes a half-tone lower than in this one but doesn’t hold it as long.
There is a video out there of a fair show they did years ago, and Tim went so low he blew out the system. It is hilarious lol. Great reaction
You need to watch their version of All About That bass. It's HILARIOUS and seriously well done!
I love your reactions…! Home Free is incredible, almost beyond words
I've seen them do this live, it rattles the whole building.
Love Home Free so much. Home Fry forever.
Love your reaction when Tim hit the last note. Looking forward to the next.
Loved seeing your face on that last note! Great reaction - just subscribed!
TY! My son thought me looney when describing Avi, Tim and Geoff's voices... Avi is smooth/soulful, Tim is full of grit and Geoff's is just plain teasing... I can never choose a fav... sending this reaction to my son!

Warm chocolate. Avi's voice is smooth warm chocolate. None of the gravel of the other low basses. I could just sleep in it.(Now there's an interesting mental picture.)
Tim held that note LIVE on the Sing Off for (I think) over 19 seconds......he is a BEAST !
I have seen them TWICE live, mind blowing. Real. Funny.
Fing amazing 👏😍
I've somehow never heard of these guys before either! This is definitely a fun version of Ring of Fire....much more light hearted. Watching you enjoy their range was fun 😄
Peter Hollens ft Tim Foust Misty Mountains
Tim & Avi switched out and Tim HIT THE Last BASS note!!
Glad you did this, knew you'd like it. 😁👍
Great reaction! There are some mentioning watching them on The Sing Off.....Home Free Sing Off All Performances With Judges.....will get you there. It really is fun. Just up to you. Thanks so much.
So happy to be going on this wild journey you have been on. All of it.
Tim, Avi and Geoff from Voiceplay all have insane ranges.
that last note by Tim gets everyone ...sooo lowwww lol
Just think how much air it takes to hold a note that low for that long, Tim Foust is a freak of nature.
Peter Hollins Ft Tim Foust Misty Mountains followed by Home Free cover of Mayday.
Yes, they have done Just To Be Your Man. It's great both the video and live verison!
Hi from Denmark that last note from Tim was a G1 and what´s amaing about it is that he held it for 13 seconds . If you are going to do HF´s cover of Josh Turner´s -- your man . PLEASE do the concert version from the crazy life tour , see you in the next upload
Home Free did "All about that bass" too.
I can see a 90-year-old you putting on some Home Free and pass away with a smile on your face 😂
If you want "Bass" try their cover of "In the Blood"...
Even better, Everybody walking this Land or Folsom Prison Blues.
Funny you mention Josh Turner. Home Free did a cover of Your Man. Please listen to one of the concert versions.
Since you mentioned it, check out HOME FREE - YOUR MAN (LIVE) or HOME FREE - ALL ABUT THAT BASS
All Abut that Bass? I thought their Butts Medley was a different presentation.
totally agree, Marla, my friend !!!
Hillbilly Bone is another bass heavy song. Tim has the lead and Chance holds down the bass line. The last note by Tim is an F#1. In the Sing Off version he went down a half-tone to F1. And that is Tim's dragon breath
The original version on the sing off is definitely worth a watch, Tim singing all the line avi is singing and gets a different experience. Thier version of your man is a must watch
I think you would really enjoy never going to give you up by home free. They did the song so much justice
I liked Ring of Fire from Sing Off so much more! Watching the Sing Off performances makes a perfect foundation.
I'm not a religious person but find their cover of "How Great Thou Art". Its an emotional trip regardless of your beliefs.
Yes............that is GREAT too!
Yes the live version of "Your Man" Tim can blow speakers and it shows a comical side to Home Free
That last note from Tim was a G1, which is only 3 semitones from the low E on a bass, lol. And, his lowest recorded note is a B0; the lowest note on a 5 or 6 string bass. The dude is a walking bass guitar.
It's a great day! A fresh Tom Macdonald Snowflakes reaction and a Home Free classic!
The last note was Tim. There is a video of Tim going subwoofer 22 times during performances.
Tim blows speakers on a regular basis! MORE please...any HF, PTX!
You should watch when they 1st performed this on The Sing Off...fantastic!! You'll enjoy the judges reaction I think.
And that's done a half-step lower than this version, so Tim ends on an F#1 instead of a G1. (And Jewel, the judge, correctly identifies it. apparently she has perfect pitch.)
Yeah, the fire breathing dragon Mr Foust!
I hope you decide to do the Sing Off journey for Home Free!
Actually, they are outdoors. Chris Rupp has a behind the scenes of this on his TH-cam channel and he said they had to really feed the fire to get it going so they'd have light because all they had were the headlights and it wasn't enough. Pretty wild.
Someone send him a link, please, of Tim blowing the speakers while singing "Your Man". (My machine won't do that right now, thanks.)
Check out Tim's range on Home Free doing Mayday
You are the best of the best! Glad I found your channel! ♥️
Loved it and just to make your day but yes they did do your man josh turner and yes that should be the next one for sure but watch there live concert version you will understand why
You love bass...listen to Their cover of Everybody Walking this land
Home Free is great and almost any song they sing would be great for reacting to. Two of my favorites are “How Great Thou Art” and “Your Man” both versions!
I know others are talking about the show where Tim blows the speaker while singing Your Man, that's Morrison '15. Just FYI.
Enjoy it!!

Lol, Since you referenced it you might as well react to Home Free's cover of "It's All About That Bass"!
My favorite Home Free cover is Helplessly Hoping, the blending of voices is so precise that at one point, it sounds like only 1 voice and the bass is phenomenal, please check it out.
You can watch Home Free, Pentatonix and Voice Play on The Sing off. You can find the video clips on TH-cam.
Avi is so smooth since he was opera trained...
Yes, Home Free does “your man” by Josh Turner. I will see if I can’t find the live concert they did where you can see Tim’s high range, followed by him blowing a speaker with the low range. About 1 minute apart…
My favorite comment I ever read about time was "Tim can even make a man ovulate, let alone woman."
Now that you have done Ring of Fire its time for my favorite cover, Mayday.
Saw them in Sydney Aus in Feb 2020 - Tims voice literally rattles the air
Try “Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget” an original written by Tim Foust and see if you catch Avi making a cameo appearance.
Someone needs to do a comparison video of Meghan Trainor's video of All About The Bass and Home Free's cover video of it. 😂
Tim taught Avi how to sing this Bass!
