    I would personally give this grill a 7/10, it's not bad but it's also not great.

      You are supposed to put one or two cups of water in the drip pan to make the smoke dissipate better and to keep the tray from burning.

    This grill works great and really is practically smokeless. I didn’t see you put water in the drip tray. It helps keeps the smoke down and cleans up easily.

      I did but forgot to get it added into the video. I gave mine to my mother and she still uses it. I moved since the video so I now have a grill.

      @@Jakecooks I really like mine. My only complaint is that you can’t be very precise when setting the temperature. I have an outdoor grill but I live on the east coast so it gets dark too early in the wintertime for me to be able to see if the food is done or not. Lol!

      It's an ok grill but didn't quite hit my expectations, if you can find one cheap then it's not bad. Definitely has some pros and improvements over some of their other products but can use more. The easy cleaning was my biggest pro on this one.

    You should consider trying one of those panini press type grills. They mark quick and might work well for your sous vide stuff.

    Use a grill weight when cooking burgers, especially on the first side, and you'll get much better results.

    • @Jakecooks
      @Jakecooks  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not have the recipe book either, just cook them how you normally would on a grill. Use a thermometer for accurate temperature.

    • @oklahomabamboo

      Hello Sharon,
      If you are referring to the Grilled Pork Chops on page 24 of the recipe booklet that came with the unit:
      Preheat the grill to 390 F / 200 C. Cook each side of the pork 3-5 minutes, and definitely use a thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 145 with a three minute rest, according to USDA . :-)
      "Here's what you need to know: Cooking Whole Cuts of Pork: USDA has lowered the recommended safe cooking temperature for whole cuts of pork from 160 ºF to 145 ºF with the addition of a three-minute rest time."
