    I recently got one for cooking in my truck when I'm on the road. I really like that it's smokeless as with previous grills and skillets my truck would smell like grease smoke for weeks after. Since I don't have regular access to a sink I wrap my grill/griddle plate in nonstick Reynolds wrap. I've used it a few times this week for steak, chicken and veggies wrapped up in foil as well as sausage and eggs on the griddle and everything has been great.

    I am loving mine and have already used it a half dozen times despite just getting it a couple of days ago. I have found that no matter what you cook, just crank up the temperature all the way. Your outdoor grill doesn't have temperature controls. Also, put a couple of drops of dish detergent in the water tray to help emulsify the grease. Dishwasher safe cooking components are a dream. Replacing a contact grill and an air fryer/Nu Wave type with this. Great capacity. Metal utensils not recommended. The griddle add on can be had for about 15 dollars shipping.

    I have the power xl grill, I really like it and use it all of the time. The food I have cooked since I received it has tasted like it has been grilled, no smoke in the house.

    So if the food you cook on this thing doesnt taste like its grilled then what does it taste like it was baked?! Also is the ninja version of the smokeless grill better or worse than the grill XL version?

    Never saw a video which showed how to put it together. one needs to use a little oil on non stick surfaces.

    Looking good as usual. I got a question for you- how come you don’t post as many carpet cleaning videos anymore ? Any particular reason?

    • @AllAmericanMack
      @AllAmericanMack  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I never really had much of a vision for my channel, mainly just posting random stuff, one of which was carpet cleaning since they were easy and I was doing it anyway so I might as well video some. There are a few reason why I'm steering away from them. One, they don't get very many views (not that most of my other videos do either) although the vacuuming videos tend to get more than the carpet ones do. Two, I don't think my carpet videos are very entertaining since I don't do much talking and mostly just show the cleaning (yours are way better than mine). The ones that get the most views were the electric truckmount videos but I haven't posted one of those since April. Third, I'm trying to do some different videos that appeal to more people. I think the ones that watch carpet cleaning and vacuuming videos is a very small niche, but I'm not abandoning them altogether, just trying some new things because I just don't want it to be too repetitive. Fourth, my son who is in the Army and stationed in your state, asked me to do some cooking videos, mostly just easy stuff we had when he lived here but he has no idea on even the basics of cooking. I've got a bunch of them already made that I need to voice over and upload. On another note, I gave straight vlm only a good try and as much as I want to be all vlm, it's just not going to happen. Lately I've missed out on so much residential work that insisted on "steam cleaning" I put my equipment back in last week. I'll still vlm when I can, but the vlm only dream has faded for now.😭

      @@AllAmericanMack thanks for the reply. I am actually having thoughts of not posting as much. I think I have caused a lot of guys to purchase an Oreck and jump into the business without any regard to people’s carpets. I have been getting ridiculous texts and emails everyday from new start up businesses that would make your skin crawl. Most entrepreneurs have common sense. Even with google you should be able to do some research and get pretty good answers to help with questions that occur while new. But that’s not the case. I’m bombarded with simple questions and think some of these folks have no common sense and should not be in business. I feel like I have demeaned my own profession in a way. I have 27years experience, took many seminars back in my early days and was even certified through the carpet institute. But now I see all these new TH-cam carpet guys with an Oreck and zero knowledge starting up business. They watch a couple of my videos-buy an Oreck Orbiter and jump right in. It’s crazy. I thought maybe that’s why you stopped posting because of all these people calling, texting and emailing because their struggling. I also have a really weird guy who I know lives in my same area who started up and is pretending he is in another state. He basically copy pasted my entire website and other business social media sites. Even takes clips off my TH-cam page and puts the on his page as his own. Never thought that just posting a few carpet cleaning videos would bring out all these problems 🤷🏻‍♂️. Oh well sorry to bend your ear on this subject. Keep the content coming. I like your ideas and your son is hilarious with those hot food challenges 👍🏻

      You've probably noticed that I don't put any business information in my videos. I don't mind helping people or answering questions, but I want to do it through either the comments or email, I don't want people contacting me by text or calls in the middle of the day while I'm working or have the opportunity to interfere with my business in some way.

    How easy to clean up the grill?

    • @AllAmericanMack
      @AllAmericanMack  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Since it's coated with a non-stick surface, clean up was easy and there was no problematic stuck on food. The non-stick surface has held up very well over the last couple of years also.

    I am having a cleaning problem with my Anko Smokeless Grill SK.1 Deluxe Model. I follow all instructions, but there is no advice on just how to remove the fan and it's surround. This has become very much necessary after using the grill a few times, as fat gathers around the fan itself, and it is impossible to get to, and it starts to smell and the smell remains in the room for ever. The fan and surround appears to want to come out in a unit which would be good for cleaning reasons, but there are no instructions and I just can't get it out .Anyone know the answer.

    Yet another reviewer who refuses to do what the directions say and shuns the lid, and tries to grill at only 350. When is the last time you preheated your outdoor grill to only 350 to make bone in chops like that? Also, butter has a very low smoke point, your "grill marks" are mostly burnt butter. I've watched 5 reviews now, all ignoring the instructions, and making basic cooking mistakes.

      Despite what the original poster says, there isn't a right or wrong way to cook the pork chops, they should be cooked however the person doing the cooking wants. First of all, I was just trying the grill for the first time to see how it would do. Second, meats often benefit from cooking them lower and slower, especially meats that tend to be tougher. Third, as mentioned above, this is not an outdoor grill and trying to equate an indoor grill with an outdoor grill is just silly since the only thing they really share is being called a grill. 350 is not some crazy, unreasonable temperature and the pork chops (and everything else) turned out fine. Personally, I don't really care about the grill marks or what caused them however, a lot of people do like to see the grill marks, even if they are just for asthetics. What I really love is how I made "basic cooking mistakes" yet everything turned out great lol.

    It was smokeless but it must put off a high pitched noise as when I used it last night and again tonight, my 2 dogs that have good hearing ran and hid and they were panting. Took along time to get them to calm down. My dog that is deaf wasn’t affected at all. This grill will be leaving my home tomorrow.

    • @AllAmericanMack
      @AllAmericanMack  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's strange. I have 3 dogs myself but they've never been bothered by it as far as I can tell, they actually hang around while I'm cooking just hoping they'll get something lol. But I agree, you can't have it stirring up the dogs.
